SO! since im off school ive made some good progress

laid out my basic shapes! once this is good n dry im gonna add a couple more layers and,,make it look more like a person

aaaaand working on ball joints rn. did it in two different styles, gonna see how it works.

i should note that in the process of this step, i cut my finger pretty bad and violently hemoraged into my moms sink until i could get back to workin'

if anyone's curious: i took a bead or marble of appropriate size and covered it in a thin layer of clay, let it dry, and then cut it into two hemispheres, made a hole for elastic, and then glued them back together

...the "cutting them in half" part is particularly dangerous 😒

sooo as an afterthought im kinda worried abt this project! i am currently absolutely unsure on how to cast the clay prototype!!!!!! buying the supplies myself is expensive and the process is very complicated!!!!! if i pursue a casting service....Well, they dont exactly do one doll order. the min is like,,10-15!!! it seems to be geared more towards selling dolls lol

so yeah. the future appears to be rocky But I'll Get There When I Get There lol
