"Then he punched the guy right in the face mom! It was such a good movie." Nick said to Emma as he sat at the kitchen counter, Jay was standing next to Emma who was smiling at Nick.

"I bet, now it's late go was up and I'll tuck you in."

"Can Jay stay and tuck me in, I want him to read to me?" Nick asked, Emma looked at Jay who shrugged.

"Yeah, Yeah I can." Jay said, Nick grinned.

"Awsome, I'll be right back." Nick sprinted up the stairs.

"I wish he ran like that for me." Emma said laughing, she snaked her arms around Jay's waist.

"Thank you, for doing this. I know you have a lot to do-"

"You guys are more important than anything I could have right now, honestly." Emma kissed him lovingly.

"Thank you." She said against his lips.

"No problem." Nick came running back into the kitchen.

"All right, I'm ready. Now Jay I'm reading Little Women, do you know what that is?" Nick asked crossing his arms.

"Oh, he's your kid for sure." Jay said to Emma.

The next day, Saturday, the three of them spent together at home playing games, watching movies, and just chilling. They were watching two of Emma's many favorites. National Treasure One and Two. Nick was laying on Jays chest and Emma was laying on her side of the couch with Razor, their german shepherd. 

"I like Riley, he's funny." Nick said.

"Me too." Emma told Nick, Nick looked up at Jay.

"Thank you for staying Jay, I love you." He said giving him a huge hug, Emma and Jay grinned widely as Jay hugged Nick back.

"I love you too kid." And they spent the rest of the weekend as one big happy family.
