Patrol With Two (More Like Three) Children

-WHAT HO! part 1 was ages ago, so here's a reminder that **This** is Romani, since it isn't on google translate-

-ENJOY!-

Kaldur set the novel down next to Tim at the dining room table. "I enjoyed it."

"Yeah? I got box sets of all of his series." The fifteen year old bragged. "Except Kane Chronicles. Fuck Kane Chronicles."

"The Kane Chronicles are AWESOME!" Barbra countered, taking everyone's dinner dishes to the sink.

"Well, it's all subjective." Tim shrugged. "Like: I have the right opinion, and you have the wrong opinion."

"Wow, Timmy, how Jason of you." Barbra scoffed. Suddenly, a child ran into her legs. "Hey! Slow down!"

"Sorry Babs." Dick turned to the other two in the dining room. "Guess what!"

"What?" Tim asked.

Dick froze, realizing that he wasn't supposed to say he was going on patrol while Kaldur was there. "...Nothing!"

Dick ran from the room. Slick.

The boy ran into Jason on the stairs. "Jay! JAy! JAY! JAY! JA-"

"What?"

"Babs says me and Cassie can go out!" He said excitedly.

"When?"

"Tonight Aren't you exci-!"

"No, when did I ASK?" Jason pushed past him, smirking. That line had never worked so well. Dick pouted, watching him leave, he'd been so excited to tell Jason that he could go on patrol with the others.

Dick ran upstairs and started getting ready for bed, even though it was only seven. The sooner they 'went to bed', the sooner he'd go on patrol.

"Dickie, time to start- that was quick." Tim froze in the doorway.

"I'm ready!"

"Well, we still have to wait twenty minutes until the team goes on patrol." Dick whined. Twenty minutes was, like, forever! "Hey, you wanna read while we are waiting?"

"Yeah!"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Dickie was so excited. He read a WHOLE PAGE of his Sisters Eight book." Tim bragged. He was so excited that his little brother was learning to read.

"Wow, good job!" Barbra encouraged, picking up her youngest sibling. "Oof, when'd you get so heavy?"

"Aren't those girl books?" Jason teased.

"Isn't that girl eyeliner?" Tim countered.

"Aren't those girl platforms?" Barbra added.

"Isn't that a girl's boyfriend?" Damian finished.

Jason put up his hands. "Okay, geez. I get it." He walked over to Barbra. "Hey, why are you holding him? Dickie is seven, he can walk."

"Yeah!" Dick shouted suddenly, he always fell for it when Jason did that. "Put me down! PUT ME DOWN!"

Barbra rolled her eyes and set the little boy down. "Go get into your Robin costume please."

Dick ran off to get into costume with Cass. The kiddies were going on patrol that night. Since not all the bats could be seen in the same place at the same time while the team was there, Barbra and Tim would be staying behind.

"You think you can handle them? They've been little trouble makers today." The redhead warned.

"I can handle my own baby siblings." Damian replied.

"But can you handle me?" Jason asked.

Damian didn't even look at him. "You're one of my baby siblings."

Jason's face fell, and then filled with anger. Barbra smirked. "That's how you make Dickie feel when you're teasing him."

"Oh get off it!"

"She's right. Stop being such a jerk to him." Tim said.

"Oh look at yourself!" Jason replied. "You're censoring everything you say so you don't swear in front of the children... Fuck off, they don't care!"

"HEY! You keep at that and you aren't going on patrol!" Barbra warned.

"Like I fucking care! What are you going to do? Make me go to my room?" Jason sneered.

"Call dad." Tim said.

Jason glanced around at them. "No you wouldn't. You're fucking with me." Damian picked up his phone. "FUCK! Okay, okay, I'll stop! Just don't call him!"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The team was meeting up on top of a low building, snacking on the Doritos they'd gotten from seven eleven. Most of them didn't go on patrol, and they really didn't know wat to do while out there.

"You took them to the park earlier?" Conner asked.

M'gann nodded. "Yeah, Cassie and Richard, the younger two." She pursed her lips. "One afternoon with them was giving me grey hair, I don't know how their father copes!" She smiled a little. "They are adorable though."

"Did somebody say Adorable?" A child's voice rung out from somewhere around them. The team jumped to their feet, just in time to see a young boy, about eight or so, land in front of them. "Hi! You're the team right? Renagade Red Ro and Hood met you last night!"

"...you're with the bats?" Artemis asked. The boy nodded proudly.

"But you're so little!" Wally said.

"I've broken a guys back before!" He said, sticking out his tongue.

"Did not!" Red Hood, the guy they met the previous night, landed beside the younger boy. "Bats has. You've only broken someone's leg!"

"Nuh uh, I broke his back!" The boy shouted, throwing himself at the older angrily.

"Oh no? Are you going to beat me up?" Hood taunted. "Are you going to kick my ass? I'm so scared"

"OFF!" Renagade barked, landing next to the younger two. Another person, probably a child, landed next to him. They each grabbed a kid and hauled them off each other. "Robin. You aren't supposed to be talking to them! Black bat is observing the ONE RULE we set in place!"

The boy pouted. He turned to the team. "I'm Robin by the way. and that's Black bat."

"Robin." Renagade growled. The boy shut up.

"How many bats are there?" Conner asked.

"As many as there are stars in the sky" Hood grinned.

"That's it! None of you are permitted to talk." Renagade spat. Red Hood flipped him off. "I'd say that you're too old for that, but you never fail to surprise me."

"Tired himself right out."

Barbra took the youngest brother from Damian. "Thanks. See you in the morning." She smiled, holding Dick on her hip, and holding Cassie's hand with her other. She watched Damian hop on his cycle and roar out. "Let's get you two changed and into bed."

"Okay." Cass murmured. The exhaustion of crime fighting had loosened her head a little. She let go and began removing her suit. Dick was already asleep on Barba's shoulder.

"Dickie, wake up please, you need to get changed." Dick mumbled and shook his head. "C'mon Dickie..."

**no.** He whined sleepily, returning to his mother language. As he was apt to do when sleepy.

"Yes. Come on." She peeled off his mask, unfastened his cape and tugged off his pixie boots.

*Too tired!** He tried to roll over in his sleep.

"Okay then..." She sighed, pulling off his shirt and wrapping his upper body in his pyjama top. She did the same with his lower half. "Now, be a big boy and run upstairs with Cassie."

**No!** Dick thrashed a little, and cuddled against her arm.

Barbra rolled her eyes a little. How did Jason manage to rile the youngest up? She picked him up and carried Dick up to the clock. She called out to Cassie, and the three of them headed up to the kid's bedrooms. Barbra, Cassie on her heels, carried Dick into his bedroom. The redhead tucked him in to bed.

"Cassie will be just down the hall, right?" Cass nodded. "And I'll be in the living room until Jason gets home at two am, and then I'll move to my room. Sleep tight, alright?"

**Goodnight.**

"G'night." Barbra called.

"Goodnight." Cass whispered, following their big sister from the room.
