Double Date

Taeyeon's POV

Jennie and Lisa just got home from the hospital and they told us the good news. Mr. Hwang went to the hospital and he will stay there. He wanted to wait till Jennie's mother wakes up again.

Since we got the news, Tiffany seemed a little bit off. She was spacing out and all quiet. She knew Jennie's mother that's why she's acting like this. It was somewhat bothering me, I didn't know why.

We were sitting on the sofa in the living room, Tiffany was next to me.

I held Tiffany's shoulder "Are you alright Fany?"

She looked at me  "Yes, TaeTae. I'm just worried to Jennie's mother."

I knew it. Her memories are still there.

"She will be fine Fany... she will wake up soon," I assured her.

Tiffany smiled a bit "I want to see her awake."

"You will, soon," I reassured her.

"Taeyeon eonni?" Lisa called me as she walked to us along with Jennie.

At first, she was holding Jennie's hand but when I saw it, Jennie quickly let go.

"Why Lisa?" I asked.

"Do you want to go shopping? Me and Jennie will go to the Mall," Lisa said as she glanced at Jennie. The latter smiled sweetly.

I squinted my eyes as I scrutinized "Are you two dating now?" I curiously asked.

Jennie looked away and her cheeks blushed.

"Yes eonni," Lisa confidently said as she held Jennie's hand again.

I smiled widely "Congrats then!" I happily said as I stood up then hugged them both.

Tiffany also stood up as she folded her arms, she changed alter "Congratulations. You two look good together." It's Miyoung.

Lisa grinned "Thank you both."

Jennie looked at Tiffany "Thank you eonni."

Tiffany smiled as she briefly hugged Jennie "I'm happy for you." Then she faced them and looked at Lisa "Don't hurt her or I will beat you," she threatened.

Lisa nodded and gave her a salute "Yes, of course!"

"Good," Tiffany simply said as she wrapped an arm around me. "Did someone say shopping?"

Oh geez. Shopping. They all want that except me. I will be doomed.

-

At the mall.

Me and Lisa were holding a bunch of shopping bags because we went to every store we passed by. Like seriously?

Even Lisa likes shopping but she didn't buy much because we could no longer carry more than what we had. It was too much to handle, literally.

Me and Lisa were walking together while our girlfriends were on the lead. Jennie clung to Tiffany's arm and I was happy to see them like this. They looked close and they looked like real sisters.

Lisa sighed exasperatedly "I thought this would be a double date but we look like their chaperones, not girlfriends," she whined.

I giggled. I didn't expect that it would be a double date because of shopping.

"It's okay Lisa," I just shrugged.

"No, it's not okay eonni. Look at those guys," she glared at them. "They are drooling over our girlfriends. Totally not cool!"

I looked at them and they were actually checking our girlfriends out. I felt somewhat vexed.

My eyebrows snapped together but I just chose to ignore them "They can only look but not touch," I cockily said as I smirked.

Lisa nodded "You have a point there eonni." She suddenly calmed down.

Then two guys approached our girlfriends as they blocked their way.

"Hi," the red head guy greeted as she flashed his playboy smile.

"Excuse me? Do we know you?" Jennie asked nicely.

"We're in the same year Jennie, I'm Kai's friend," the red head introduced.

"Oh okay..." Jennie smiled but she looked kinda uncomfortable.

Lisa sighed heavily "Kai..."

"This is my cousin Minho, he knows Mr. Leonard Hwang's daughter. He's an avid fan," he exaggeratedly said.

My ears got bigger when I heard that.

"Hello! Nice to meet you in person, Ms. Hwang," he bowed to Tiffany. He seemed nervous.

Not cute. I sneered.

Tiffany gave him an eyesmile "Hi, nice to meet you Minho." It was forced, indeed.

I knew Tiffany was just being nice but it churned my stomach.

"Can you join us for dinner?" The red head asked.

"I'm sorry but we can't. Maybe next time?" Jennie answered apologetically.

The red head smiled "You're really kind Jennie." He took a card from his wallet and gave it to Jennie. "That's my calling card. Call me if you're free." Then he noticed us at the back "Wait. Lisa?"

Lisa forced a smile. I chuckled, it was fake. She couldn't hide the feeling.

"Ahh... It's a girl bonding huh? Now I understand," he tapped Jennie's arm. "Looking forward to have dinner with you. I know... you and Kai aren't together anymore." He winked being flirty. Ew.

Lisa walked hastily so I followed her. She seemed mad, nah, she was jealous.

"Lisa!" I called her and she stopped walking.

"Why can't she just say that I'm her girlfriend?" She asked irritably.

"You know that we can't force them Lisa. You need to understand. We can't force them to come out," I reminded her. In general, we can't force anyone to do something. It's their life and it's their choice.

Her face saddened "But I'm so jealous."

"You need to trust Jennie."

"I trust her and I know she's just being nice but I don't trust those guys. They look perverted," she retorted. "And I hate that I can't do anything about it." She sighed in defeat. "But you're right eonni, I can't force her. I won't do that."

I nudged her "Chill. Just wait for her. Are you willing to wait?" I playfully asked to lighten the situation.

"Of course eonni-"

"Professor Kim?" Someone interrupted us.

I looked at the person and recognized her. She was one of my students "Sung Jiyeon? Jane!"

She smiled sweetly "Yes Prof. I'm glad to see you again. You don't teach anymore."

Jane became prettier, she looked like an idol.

"Y-yes. I focus on studying to get my Master's Degree." I replied as I massaged my nape.

"Ah... good luck with your studies Prof. Kim. Fighting!" Jane sweetly said then she looked at Lisa "L-Lisa? Annyeong..." She shyly greeted.

Lisa obviously forced a smile "Hello," she coldly said.

"Umm... we're classmates in literature and I'm in your group," Jane informed her.

Lisa raised her eyebrows "Really? What's your name again?"

"I'm Sung Jiyeon but you can call me Jane," she introduced as she offered a hand to shake.

Lisa put down the shopping bags and gladly shook their hands "I'm sorry for not remembering you."

"It's okay..." Jane smiled. I could sense that she has a crush on my sister.

I smirked and shook my head. Lisa is really a chick magnet.

Lisa let go of Jane's hand.

"Can you please give your number? You know... for our project..." Jane bashfully asked.

"Just give me your number so I can update you," Lisa took her phone from her pocket and handed it to Jane.

Jane gladly took it and saved her number then she handed it back to Lisa.

"Thanks Jane. Just wait for my call, we will start the project soon," Lisa casually instructed.

Jane blushed "O-okay."

"Jane!" A woman approached her. "Why did you leave me-" The woman looked at me and recognized me"Taeyeon?"

I smiled "Yoona, annyeong!" I greeted. She was one of my colleagues.

Lisa bowed to her "Annyeong Professor Im," she greeted politely.

"Oh, Annyeong!" Yoona smiled widely seeing us. "I'm happy to see you both."

"Are you with Jane?" I asked.

Yoona nodded "Yes she's my niece."

"Really? That's cool." No wonder why Jane looks like an idol, she inherited that charisma from her aunt.

Yoona giggled "I missed you Taeyeonie," she held my arm.

Yoona is a really good friend of mine. We're close to each other since college.

"I missed you too Yoong. I'm just busy right now but I promise, we will catch up soon," I apologetically said.

Yoona nodded "Sure. Noted that," she playfully winked at me. "By the way, we need to go home now because I will tutor Jane."

"Imo..." Jane whined cutely. She was embarrassed.

"We have to go," Yoona clung to Jane's arm.

"Okay. See you soon Yoong!" I waved goodbye.

Lisa bowed to Yoona while Jane bowed to me.

"Professor Im likes you," Lisa commented.

"And Jane has a crush on you," I replied.

"What did you say?" A familiar voice asked.

Me and Lisa both flinched as we turned around facing our girlfriends. They were glaring at us.

"How long have you been there?" Lisa asked nervously.

"Since you asked Jane's number," Jennie said with her serious voice.

"I only did that because of our project," Lisa defended herself.

Jennie rolled her eyes "But that girl likes you." She snapped.

"It doesn't matter to me. I don't like her," Lisa quickly replied.

"R-really?" Jennie stuttered.

Lisa nodded "She just happened to be in my group. I'm assigned to be their leader," she explained.

"O-okay..." Jennie seemed convinced.

"How bout you?" Lisa asked back.

"What about me?" Jennie innocently asked.

Lisa sighed "Nothing." She took and carried the shopping bags again.

"I didn't take his calling card and I told him that you're my girlfriend," Jennie suddenly said.

Lisa's eyes widened "You told him that?" She was stunned.

Jennie stepped closer to Lisa as she took the shopping bags from one of Lisa's hands then she intertwined their hands.

"Yes," Jennie smiled as she stared at Lisa.

Lisa smiled sheepishly as they walked away forgetting me and Tiffany.

Tiffany was just staring at me.

"Miyoung-"

"Who's Yoona? You missed her huh?" She asked with an attitude.

"Yoona is a friend from college and she's also a professor in Seoul University," I answered immediately.

"Nothing more?"

"Nothing more," I confirmed. "She's just a friend."

"Okay... but I got jealous... a bit," she admitted awkwardly.

"You have nothing to be jealous. My heart only belongs to you," I sincerely said.

"Good," she said trying to be tough.

"I got jealous too," I admitted.

Tiffany smiled "To Minho?"

I nodded then pouted.

"I don't care about him. I don't even know why he became my fan," she shook her head as she smiled. She seemed amused. "I appreciate him for that but nothing more."

"So are we good?"

"We're good," Tiffany clung to my arm.

I felt better.

We started walking when Jennie sprinted back to us followed by Lisa "Your dad called," she told Tiffany. "He told me that my mom woke up," she happily informed.

"Mom?" Tiffany was flabbergasted.

Jennie smiled and nodded "Yes, our mom."

"Let's go to the hospital," Lisa suggested.

"Okay," Jennie agreed excitedly.

"I will see mom..." Tiffany mumbled. She was spacing out.

I don't know but I have a bad feeling about this. I really don't like this intuition. I hope it's just nothing.
