Chapter 11

"Ah okay okay, wait!" Jungkook laughed, pulling his hand back as the baby kept trying to snatch the spoon from him.

"Aaddaddaddaaa!"

"Evie wait," He fell back, laughing too hard, now making the baby laugh and clap her hands on seeing him on the floor. She climbed on him, sitting on his chest and tapped her hands aggressively.

"What are you two doing?" Jimin sighed, shaking his head as came back after taking a shower, following the laughing noises and met the real mess that his daughter and dongsaeng had created for him to clean.

The mac-n-cheese was on the table and the floor while Jungkook was laying back, making faces at the toddler, sitting on him, to make her laugh while she kept blabbering something to communicate with him, pointing at the spoon in his hand.

"Are you for real?!" Jimin exasperated, "You, Jeon Jungkook, are not leaving until you clean all this!"

"Hyung, I... this- hahaha!" Jungkook still kept laughing, making Jimin sigh as he decided to ignore the commotion and mind his own buisness without getting involved with the two messy people he was gifted with. One being too young for the scolding and the other being too old.

Jungkook held the baby securely, sitting up again as he finally gave up on feeding her and made her stand on his lap, "We'll eat later, let's play right now." He grinned, bringing his face closer to her stomach, nuzzling in the fabric of her t-shirt, making the baby laugh loudly.

"Say Kookie," He said.

"Daddy,"

"No, say Kookie."

"Daddy!" Evie giggled, bouncing on her legs, holding Jungkook's hands for support.

"Yeah I get it, you love your daddy. But a little bit of love for your best friend wouldn't hurt right? Say Kookie."

"Daddy!"

Jungkook sighed, glancing towards his hyung who laughed histerically at the younger's failure. Evie looked at her father, laughing with hin too.

"Yeah fine, laugh all you want. She's still my best friend, it doesn't matter if she can say my name yet or not." Jungkook declared, making Jimin laugh harder as he shook his head, heading towards the two.

"Finish eating then it's her nap time." He said, "And you should go home too now."

"I don't want to." Jungkook sighed, "Have you seen my phone? It's a miracle that it didn't explode already."

"I understand that, Jungkook, but you should go now. The members must be worried."

"Hyung," The younger sat straight, looking at Jimin with a serious expression as if he remembered something just now, "That day... I think Tae hyung was crying. I mean I didn't see it, but when I was leaving and I looked at him for a second, his- his eyes looked different... like different different, I don't know how to explain it."

"Beleive it or not, he's hurting as much as you are." Jimin sighed, "I've told you before, talk to him. He only has you now Jungkook, don't push him away like that."

Before Jungkook said anything or Jimin continued further, the doorbell rang, making the latter frown in confusion as he wasn't expecting anyone right now. Leaving Jungkook and Evie to finish eating, he stood up, heading to the front door.

He opened the door, glancing at the man standing there, dressed in casual clothes but his face covered with a black mask and a bucket hat on his head. As much as Jimin didn't want to recognise the person, to his dismay it was none other this former best friend.

"Jungkook is here right?" Taehyung asked, pushing past him and entered inside, leaving Jimin too shocked and perplexed to even react.

"Jungkook?" He called, heading inside, eyes scanning place with anger building up every second.

"Taehyung..." Jimin breathed out, rushing after him, "Hey listen, Jungkook is–"

"Shut up, I'm not here to see you. Just tell me where– Ah there," Taehyung smiled sarcastically, entering the first room. However his steps halt and the expression changed gradually, seeing a baby with him. The same one they met in the mall.

"Taehyung...?" Jungkook frowned at him and then at Jimin who looked like he would cry any moment. "What are you... How..."

"What the fuck is going on here?" Taehyung frowned, "Whose is that?"

"Is that how you talk about a child?" Jungkook glared at him, standing up. "Every time I think of being nice, you start behaving more like an ass."

"I don't care what you think! You either come with me and explain what the fuck is going on or I'm calling everyone right now."

"No!" Jimin freaked out, "I'll–"

"I'm not talking to you!" Taheyung yells.

"Keep your voice low!" Jungkook growls, but soon fell silent on hearing a sharp crying, making him sigh as he glanced at the baby girl probably scared with a new presence at home and them shouting at each other.

"Hyung," Jungkook said, glancing at Jimin, "I'll go from here."

Jimin looked at Taehyung and then at Jungkook, earning a sigh from the younger, "Don't worry about him, I'll deal with him."

"Jungk–"

"Is that what you've been teaching him?" Taehyung gritted out, glaring at Jimin, "How to fight with his members, and keep him in your control? Park Jimin you're disgu–"

"Don't," Jungkook pushed Taehyung, "I'm warning you, say another word about him and you'll regret coming here."

"Jungkook, no," Jimin said, shaking his head, "Look, let's sit and talk. Stop fighting both of you."

"Sit and talk? About what exactly? Are you going to tell me how pathetic I am that you couldn't keep up with me? Or about this?" Taehyung pointed at the crying little baby.

"Taehyung, you have a problem with me, then keep it between us. Don't bring my daughter into this." Jimin said.

"Y-Your what? Daughter? Since when do you have a daughter?"

"That's what I'm saying, let's sit and talk."

"I... I don't wanna here all that. You've been dating, married and even have a fucking child! I–"

"I said do not bring my daughter into this." Jimin threatened, not raising his voice yet remembering his daughter's presence in the room.

Taehyung sighed deeply, rolling his eyes as he doesn't listen and looks at the child recognising her as the same one they met in the mall that day who caused all the scandal with Jungkook's name involved. "So it was Jimin with you in the mall?" He turned to the younger, "How shameless are you to keep going after the man who literally left you like a peice of shit, lied to you all this while, hid about his life? Jungkook, are you really that dumb or just choosing to ignore this motherfucking traitor?!"

"I said stop!" Jungkook grabbed his collar dragging him out of the room as the latter didn't seem to care about the scared toddler. "You don't care about anyone I get it, but not even a child?! Seriously?! You're saying all that to me and Jimin, but did you look at yourself?! From the day he stepped out of the group he said nothing to the members, didn't spread any rumours or any false information, he didn't even argue when y'all and especially you, Kim Taehyung, kept speaking shit about him! Have you lost all of your humanity?! I'm not being shameless, Kim, you are."

Taehyung glared at him, the fabric of Jungkook's t-shirt clasped between his fist as while he brings his right hand in a swift contact with Jungkook's face, making the boy's face to turn to the side with a stinging pain.

"Yeah, go on, hit me. That's all you're left to do right?" Jungkook nodded, not fighting back anymore, "Just know that Jimin hyung is not the brother that I lost..."

"I'm gonna deal with you later," Taehyung gritted out, "and your Jimin hyung will see how bad he fucked up."

"You wouldn't dare." Jungkook threatened, throwing a sharp glare at the elder.

"Oh I would, you just watch me."

"Taehyung," Jimin's voice made him turn around, letting go of Jungkook who now stood straight. "I'm sorry for what happened. Please, I honestly request, don't fight with Jungkook. You don't like me, I get it and it's okay. But Jungkook didn't hurt you right? Why are you punishing him for my mistake? He's your only younger brother right?"

"Shut up" Taehyung said, "Stop making me look like the bad guy all the time. You've already filled Jungkook's ears enough. Is it fun seeing him arguing and fighting his hyungs? That's what you wanted right, to see BTS breaking? Well, congratulations Park Jimin, you succeeded."

"Tae–"

"Keep it with you. I don't wanna hear your bullshit." He turned to Jungkook, and nodded towards the front door, "You're going home with me."

"You think so? I don't." Jungkook scoffed.

"You wouldn't say that to our managers would you?"

Jungkook stared at him with wide eyes, shaking his head as he realised what the elder was saying. His jaw clenched in anger, glaring at Taehyung who chuckled lightly, "That's what I thought, let's go now. Hyungs ae waiting for you."

He looked at Jimin, seeing him nodding in assurance and gestured him to go with Taehyung. The boy agreed, following Taehyung out to the car and Jimin sighed deeply, carrying his daughter in his arms, praying for Taehyung to calm down by the time they reach the dorm.
