"Come back, princess." Jimin sighed, seeing the toddler running away from him, laughing loudly and clapping her hands when he chased her slowly, pretending that he wasn't able to catch her. "We need to get you dressed, honey. You wanna go out with daddy right?"

"daddy" Evie nodded, running again.

Jimin scrunched his face up, crouching down as he sighed deeply, "Come here baby, won't you give daddy a hug?" he said with his arms open, putting Evie's dress away and waited for the baby to analyse the situation and come to him without finding anything suspecious.

"No?" he pouted at his daughter, tilting his head a little, "Evie doesn't love daddy. It's okay, daddy will just hug himself and cry alone."

Evie stared at him with her round eyes, mouth forming an 'o' in confusion, seeing her father burying his face in his hands, looking like he's crying with fake sobs. With a pout on the baby's lips, she came near him quietly, touching his hands while leaning closer to see his face.

Jimin looked up smiling and hugged her instantly, making her squeal and giggle between his arms. He stood up, carrying his daughter up and rubbing his nose on her belly, earning a loud cackle of heartfelt laughter, like music to his ears.

"Let's get ready now," He said, sitting her on the bed and grabbed her pink and white summer dress. "My baby will look like an angel."

In fifteen minutes, Jimin had gotten Evie dressed, leaving her to play with her toys while he got ready himself. After a long time, he had decided today to go out and show Evie around, have fun and enjoy everything with his daughter, like how fathers are supposed to do.

He smiled softly, securing the velcro of her squeaky shoes and buckled her in the booster seat, "We'll have a lot of fun today."

"Guys! Hurry up!"

"I told you I'm not going." Jungkook sighed, earning a glance from Taehyung whose brow arched at once.

"Going somewhere Kook?"

"No, just thought of resting today." The younger said, stretching his body as he flexed his muscles topless, just having his loose sweatpants hanging around his torso with the drawstrings that dangled down after a knot.

"Wahh! army should see this" hoseok joked.

jungkook chuckled shaking his head, "I don't even know why I'm not stripping for them already?" The boys laughed at his words as he grinned, sitting on the couch, having his abs and toned chest on full display, "Take a picture, we might post it later."

"And kill millions of armys?" Yoongi said, "No thanks. Now come on get ready, we all are going. No further discussion."

"I can't believe it's you saying that." The youngest sighed, "But okay, let's go."

The hyungs smiled at the boy, making him stop and stare back with a flustered expression, "...what?" Taehyung hid his smile, turning around and left for his room, while the rest hugged Jungkook, earning a playful whine from him as he pushed the hyungs away.

"It's been long since we all actually smiled." Jin said, patting the younger's head, "Today will be great."

Jungkook nodded gradually smiling as he himself saw how Jimin's advice made this house a better place to live. They all gathered again in half an hour, all dressed and looking much more presentable than before as they were ready to head out and enjoy the day off. It was Hoseok's idea to Jin, telling that they needed to go out for a bit and breathe without arguing for once. The eldest agreed and today he was set to take all his kids out, like a family picnic.

"Where to?" Namjoon asked.

"Amusement park and then the mall near by." Jin said, getting nods of agreement in response. "I'll drive."

Jungkook sat in the back, having his phone as he opened his twitter account, deciding to post a selca for armys and for his Jimin hyung who made him realise the bonds and values he was ignoring blindly, hurting himself and even his members.

Jimin smiled to himself, shaking his head and looked at his daughter, "See? It's Kookie." He said, showing the picture in his phone that Jungkook posted a few hours ago, earning a giggle from Evie as she taps the screen multiple times, liking and disliking the picture.

"He's gonna be mad for disliking his picture." He chuckled, and liked it again before keeping his phone back in his pocket as Evie was now making a mess with her ice cream.

"Let's get you cleaned, then we'll go to a park." He said and started cleaning her face and hands with the napkins and the baby wipes, "There, now my baby looks pretty."

"Baby!" She cheered, rasing her arms above her head, earning a chuckle from Jimin as he smiled under his mask, making her sit in her stroller.

The mall seemed fairly empty today, especially in comparision with the weekends which allowed at least hundreds of people everyday. And this part had Jimin relaxed that at least nobody would recognise him, with a baby, nah never. they won't even imagine seeing Park Jimin alone wth a baby in a mall.

After getting a lot of stuff for his daughter and presenting her a candy and a balloon, he was set to head back home. Stalling towards the elevator, a laugh filled his ears, sounding too familiar to ignore. Halting in his place, he glanced at Evie and then at the mirror in the side, eyes expanding at the sight of the group of six boys.

"Shit" He whispered, blinking a few times, convincing himself that they didn't see him yet.

With that thought, Jimin gripped the stroller tighter, pushing ahead and continued walking like any other normal person would, in a normal situation. However his feet stop again, eyes following the balloon that just flew up, a cry mixed with the gasp leaving Jimin's lips as he bent down quickly to hold Evie who leaned down too far in an attempt to catch her balloon.

"It's okay, we'll get another one." Jimin said to the crying toddler in his arms as he checked if she was okay.

"Here," A voice said, holding out the balloon, earning a glance from Jimin, almost giving him a heart attack. "What are you doing here?"

"I... uh you-"

"Yes I can recognise you, hyung." Jungkook sighed, "Thank god I did, because if I didn't, Tae would be here."

"Y'all are so annoying. Why did you have to come here today?!" Jimin whisper yelled, while patting Evie's back at the same time.

Jungkook ignored the elder's rant and handed the balloon to the baby, making her stop crying instantly. He smiled, pulling his mask a little down and said, "Hey best friend."

"Aababbbbababa...!" Evie blabbered reaching out for him, making him chuckle as he threw a smug look at Jimin and carried her.

"Jungkook, you should go. They're coming here." Jimin said with horror, patting his arm in a hurry.

"What?" Jungkook looked up from the toddler and glanced back, seeing his hyungs coming their way. Before he gave Evie back to Jimin, the latter had already stepped away and walked in a different direction.

"Who's this baby?" Jin cooed, melting on seeing the baby girl in Jungkook's arms. "So cute!"

"Aw I didn't know our maknae was good with kids too." Hoseok pointed out, holding the baby's hand as they all started playing with her calling for her to gain attention.

"Uh yeah, I've met her dad before." Jungkook said, looking around to spot Jimin, and laughed nervously, "He went to the bathroom right now."

"Oh okay, we can play with the baby till then." Taehyung said, forgetting all his sternness for a moment and extended his arms out for Evie to come to him. Jungkook stared at him, contemplating if he should let him hold her even after what he's been doing in the past few months. 

His eyes finally spot Jimin standing at a distance from them, he gestured towards Taehyung, earning a nod from the father and sighed, letting Evie go to Taehyung.

"Hey baby, do you know us?" Taehyung cooed, smiling widely at the child who wasn't reciprocating the same level of interest, "I'm TaeTae, have you seen us somewhere?"

Yes, in daddy's phone, on the tv, on the magazine, and even heard tons of stories about you.

Both Jimin and Jungkook knew it would've been the answer if Evie could speak. Jungkook sighed softly, keeping his focus on the toddler, wanting to take her back in his arms, and hand her to his Jimin hyung. But for Jimin's contentment, he didn't dare.

The father stared at the boys smiling and laughing as they played with his daughter, trying to make her smile too. He chuckled softly to himself, not realising the tears that welled, blurring his sight at the fond view for his eyes.

Jungkook stepped forward bringing Evie back as she started whimpering now, looking around to find her dad. He patted her back and brought the candy closer to her mouth, "We'll go to daddy, okay?" He said and glanced at his members, "You can go first, I'll meet you outside."

"Alright." They said, patting Evie's head or touching her soft, rosy cheeks one last time before heading out.

Jungkook sighed in relief after making sure they all left and saw Jimin coming back, "Thanks" Jimin said, earning a smile from the younger.

"It's nothing," He shrugged, "uh but hyung, did you watch Tae?"

"Yeah, he really loves kids." Jimin nodded, "That's why I told you to let him carry Evie."

"Even after what he did?" Jungkook said, "Even after what all of them did?"

"Don't think like that Jungkook, their reaction was expected and natural. Anyone would do the same."

"I didn't," The younger stated, shrugging his shoulders, "and l'm sure you wouldn't have done the same either."

Jimin nodded slowly, taking a deep breath before looking back at Jungkook, "...You think too much. Now go back, they must be waiting."

Jungkook sighed, shaking his head. But he pulled a smile glancing at the baby and kissed her cheek, "Bye bestie, I'll see you later." He said grinning widely at the child and handed sat her in her stroller, before waving at Jimin and jogging away.
