I could hear the sounds of things smashing and Miah begging Winn to calm down. So I did the only thing I could think of to make it stop. I started crying. Immediately Winn was in my room scooping me up. "Bella Baby, what's wrong?"

"You and Miah was fighting. Me nu like it when you fight. Mommies and daddies who fight get devowced. Me nu want you to get a divowce cause den you go away and me nu see you nu mowa. Can't you fowgove Miah fora whateva he did to make you angwy? Den You and Miah can kiss and make up? Please????" I asked with a sniffle and a slight whimper.

Quinn POV

"Jeremiah and I weren't fighting honey. We were just having a creative conversation."

"But it sounded like you was mad at him. Can't you fowgove him fowa whateva he did to make you angwy? Me nu want you to go away."

"I'm not going away but I need to take care of something important and Jeremiah just doesn't understand."

"Like what?" Bella's eyes go wide with realization as she remembers what Ivy had told her about anyone I might want revenge against. "You want to go afta bawbwa don't you?"

"Yes, not only did she shoot me but she tried to take you away."

At this, I frowned "what do you mean she hurt you lots? Bella, baby what did she do to you?"

"It's alright. You can tell me sweetheart. Mommy promises to try to not loose her temper."

Bella nods and I let out a low growl. "Uhhuh. Dey also did lots of otha bad stuff to me but nu memba all of it. She also threatened to make me go bye byw lots of times cause she was jealous of me"

"Jealous? What do you mean sweetheart?"

"Ra's a ghoul said that? Well he was right about that. It was one of the only things he was right about. Barbara would never have even gotten close to killing Ra's if it wasn't for Bruce."

"I'm sorry Honey, I must have heard you wrong. I thought you said that Barbara shot you after she shot me."

"She did. De Doctas said dat me was like you. Dat me would neva walk again. But a Stwange doctoa came and visited me. Him injected me wifh a stwange liquid and den me was able to walk again."

At this, my gaze turns cold "she is gonna pay for this!" I hiss angrily.

"Can me go wifh you when you go challenge Bawbwa?"

"Honey I don't know if that's a good idea."

"But me wanna go."

"Sweetheart, I know you do but this is going to be dangerous and I need to be able to focus on the task at hand. I won't be able to do that if I'm having to worry about your safety. Do you understand?"

Suddenly I had a flashback of when I lived at the circus with my mother. "I hate her mom. I hate Lila. Sometimes I find myself wishing that I could get revenge on her for what she does to Jerome and Jeremiah. "You know, me was thinking. Jewome wouldn't make bawbwa go bye bye. He'd make hewa suffa fiwst. He'd want hewa to beg him to go make hewa go bye bye. Den afta he felt he made hewa suffa enough den he'd make hewa go bye bye. Why we no do somefing like dat?"

At this, I let out a sigh of defeat. She did have a point. "Alright you can come with me and I promise that I won't kill Barbera. I will however, confront that Blond bimbo and give her a piece of my mind. I was going to kill her but your right, it isn't enough to just kill Her. No. We need to destroy her completely. I will make her suffer for what she's done to us. I will take from her everything that she holds dear. Just like she tried to do with me. I want to see the look on her face when she realizes that I've taken everything from her."

"So you nu gonna listen to you mama's adbice bout seeking webenge?"

I can't help but chuckle at Bella's cuteness. "No sweetheart, I'm not. Not this time. Mom was wrong. Sometimes you have no other choice. You see, right now We are on our own in this no man's land but it won't be this way forever. For now, We can't let people like Barbara walk all over us. We need to send them a message. One they will understand loud and clear. "Don't push us because we aren't afraid to push back."

"What you mean on owea own? Won't Miah take cawe of us like Jewome did? Owa does he not cawe bout us?"

"Oh Bella honey, that's not what I meant. Of course he cares about us. What I meant was that we won't be getting help from the government anytime soon. After Jeremiah blew up the bridges he shut us off from the outside world. I don't think they plan on helping us anytime soon. But don't you worry baby, we have lots of people we can rely on."

"Pooh Bea? You seem sad. Is you wowwied bout someone?"

I sighed knowing that there was no point in lying to her. "I was just thinking about my mother and sister. I can only hope they made it out of Gotham before the bridges blew."

"No sweetheart I don't. I haven't seen them since they visited the hospital a while back." Forcing a smile I took Bella by the hand. "Let's not think about that right now. How about I make you some pancakes for breakfast would you like that?"

"Wes please. Pooh Bea, me know you is not me biwth mommy and evewyone says dat me shouwdnt call you dat cause it makes you uncomfowtable but would it be Otay if I call you dat anyway?"

"Forget what other people say. Of course You can call me mama sweetheart. I can never repay you for every that you've done for me. So if you want to call me mommy or mama go right ahead. Don't you mind what other people say."

"Me wobe you mama Pooh Bea." Bella says laying head on my shoulder letting out a big yawn.
