"Get up". Baby and Lydia both jolted at the command. Void walked down the stairs towards them. Lydia jumped up as he grabbed Baby by the arm and pulled him to his feet. Baby stumbled and swayed so Void picked him up and heard him over his shoulders. Baby yelped and clung to him as Void stepped forwards to stare out the iron gate. There was silence as the black eyes waited.

"They're coming", Lydia muttered. She was watching void's face. "You're nervous. Aren't you". Her face was wet from previous tears. "You know they're coming. You know they're going to kill you". Void turned to her and smirked.

"That exactly why I'm keeping the two of you so close".

Stiles' jeep parked at the open gates at the back of Eichen house. Scott, Stiles and Issac piled out. Kira and Allison getting out of Allison's car a moment later. They all paused at the dark entrance. The back of the mental facility was a concrete mess of maintenance buildings and power boxes. The main house loomed above it all, dark and threatening. Stiles stuffed his hands into his jacket pockets. He was worried about Baby.

Scott looked around at all their faces. "We've done this before guys", he reminded. "A couple of weeks ago we were standing around just like this and we saved Malia. Remember? That was a total stranger. This is Lydia and Baby".

"I'm here to save my best friend", Allison stated.

"I cam here to save mine", Scott nodded.

"I cam here to save my boyfriend", Stiles muttere.

"I just didn't feel like doing any homework", Issac added. They all turned to him. He smirked and stepped inside the gates. Scott shrugged and followed him. They split up once they go through the entrance. Isaac, Allison and Kira heading to stop Noshiko whike Scott and Stiles headed inside to find Lydia and Baby.

Stiles raced through the dark corridors after Scott. He watched as Scott paused and sniffed the air. "They're this way", he called. Stiles followed him.

Void unlocked the metal door and pulled Lydia and Baby inside. It clanged shut behind them. Baby was still hanging from his shoulders, supported by one arm. His other arm was holding Lydia's upper arm in a bruising grip to ensure they didn't run away. "They're here", she stated. "And I don't need to scream to know that they're going to kill you".

"That's exactly why I brought you", void let her go and stepped back. He pulled baby off his shoulders and set him on his feet. The boy almost collapsed again if Lydia hadn't caught him. He clung to her shoulders as she struggled to keep him upright. "I need to know when they're close enough". Void pulled a black stone dagger from his belt and twirled it between his fingers. Around them, oni appeared from the shadows. Lydia gasped and pulled Baby with her as she fled behind them.

Void didn't react. He looked round as the oni with dark eyes as he held up the stone blade. "It's only when they're close that I can do this". He snapped the blade in half. Then he smiled, a wide sharp savage thing and disappeared. Lydia and Baby were left alone in the dark room.

"Lydia?? Baby??" Footsteps on stone. Lydia grabbed Baby and half dragged him to the iron gate as the footsteps drew closer. Scott and Stiles appeared at the top. This stiles was pale and weak. Eyes shadowed and he looked sickly. Baby could smell it as soon as he arrived. Fresh rain, earth and a tinge of sarcasm. This was the real stiles. His stiles.

Scott broke the lock with a kick and he pulled the gate open. "No no no", Lydia muttered. "Why are you here?"

"We came to save you", Scott frowned. "What happened to Baby?" She handed him over and the russet haired boy fell into Scott's arms. Scott threw a hand round his shoulder as Stiles caught Baby's face in his hands.

"Stiles". Baby smiled slightly, vision hazy. "I've missed you". He felt tears in his eyes. "I've missed you so much. I'm so glad to see you love".

"I've missed you too Babes. God, what did he do to you?" Stiles ran his thumbs under Baby's eyes as the boy chuckled with relief. He sunk into the touch, inhaling the scent. He had missed this so much. He had been so scared.

"Didn't you get my message?" Lydia cried. "You're not supposed to be here! Who else came with you? Scott! Who else is here? Don't you get it Scott? It's a trap!"

"He has control of the oni", Baby gasped. "The nogitsune took control of the oni". Scott paled at the thought. Their friends were out there fighting by themselves.

"Here", he passed Baby to stiles. "I need to go and help the others". The boy falling against him as he took off running. The three of them watched as he disappeared back down the corridor. Lydia grabbed Baby's other arm and they began slowly waking after him up the stairs and down the corridor. T

They didn't get far before Stiles was stumbling. "Babes. Lydia. I can't"- he broke off as he collapsed on the floor. Without his support, Baby was falling at his side. Legs crumbling under him as he hit the floor. He intently pulled himself over to Stiles' side, half leaning on him. "Stiles. Stiles. Love", he grasped at him with shaking hands. "Stiles please". Stiles was cold and unresponsive in his hands. "Darling please. Stiles. Wake up". He gasped. Above them he could smell fear and panic.

Then Lydia started screaming. She fell to the ground. The three of them in a tangle of limbs. Her screams echoing around them. "Alison!" Baby felt the tears on his face as he clung to Stiles. Lydia leaning on his back. Her grief still echoing around them. They began sobbing. Stiles still unconscious in Baby's arms as Lydia pressed her head on his shoulder. Her screams dying down into body shaking sobs. Baby weeping quietly into Stiles' hair as above them Alison died.
