"Lilli! "My history teacher shouted.

Why does he always warn me?

I sighed and looked at him in confusion.

"Answer my question, please, Lilli", he added and had a pokerface on it.

"I don't know," I said only, trying to hide myself from the looks.

"You should be more careful," he warned me again.

It wasn't my fault that I am new to thus school and my thoughts are much more interesting than his history class.

"The war started in 1861 and ended in 1867, which was also known as Franco-Mexican War," my new best friend helped me out and smiled at me.

I turned around again, realizing how fast my heart was pounding.

"Thank you Stefan, next time, you wait until I take you off," our history teacher thanked him.

I thought about him for the whole hour, because he looked familiar, but I couldn't remember where I knew him.

When we finally could go home, I packed my stuff and went out.

It became more and more difficult to walk through the forest the closer December came. Nevertheless, I went to visit an old friend of my parents almost every day to help him or just sit in the house with him and talk.

Since I could think, I knew Zac and he was like an uncle to me.

Once there, I rang first, until I stood there for almost 10 minutes and no one still opened.

I decided to go, but then I heard noises from the garage.

Uncertain, I ran in the direction of the garage, until I could see who was there. It was Zac and Stefan repairing an old car.

"Oh hello Lilli, I forgot the time," Zac greeted me kindly.

Zac wanted to hug me, but he was dirty from the repair, so we just shaked our hands.

Shy, I went in and made the two tea.

It has been almost two months since I know Stefan. Stefan became a good friend of mine, I also found friends here, since I moved to mystic falls.

With a glance, or maybe several, I slowly made my way down to where Stefan and my mother were standing.

I tried to ignore her as well as I could, because she almost blinded me with the flash of her camera.

"And?", I asked him smiling and put away a brown strand of hair.

"You look beautiful, Lilli," Stefan answered my question with a smile.

After my mother worsened our eyesight and made about a thousand pictures of us, we walked outside the door and closed the door behind us.

"I'm sorry for my mother", I apologized to him laughing and held tight to him to close my high heels properly.

"She's a wonderful mother," Stefan said, grinning slightly.

When I finished, the door opened again. Confused, we looked at my mother, who still has a camera in her hand.

"Look up," she almost screamed at us happily, holding her camera ready.

We looked at the mistletoe shocked that she can't be serious?

But before I could tell her anything, Stefan put an arm around my waist and kissed me passionately, which I returned.

I felt the flash of my mother's camera, but for the first time, I didn't mind, on the contrary, it felt nice.

"Is he now your boyfriend?", My mother asked me happily and took some more pictures.
