You trudged after Ethan as he made his way to your patio. "Ethan it's not what it looks like, I swear" your voice was hoarse. Tears threatened to spill onto your now burning cheeks.

Ethan slightly angled his toned body to you. Silence filled the now crisping air. "If you were to be pregnant-" Ethan stopped himself as he inhaled, looking at the pale blue sky. "Is it mine?"

I merely shrugged at his question. "I don't know"

My heart tore at the sight of Ethan. His body language had completely changed. He began to slouch, face in hands. It was evident that he was about to break.

Shaking his head, Ethan emerged from his seat on the steps of my porch. "Ethan don't go" My voice grew small.

"Give me one good reason why I should stay...."
