I was putting the final finishing touches on Shawn's outfit for tonight. He was currently in the middle of the meet and greet. My best friends were coming tonight and Shawn had agreed to let me bring them backstage to surprise them.

It had been almost a year since I had left California and I had forgotten how much I had missed it. You know how when you move, a small part of you never lets go of your roots? That's how I was feeling.

"Need any help?" Vivian knocked on my open door.

"Can you find Shawn's red boots?"

"His eccentric cowboy ones?"

I chuckled, "Yeah."

She nodded and started her search. I had planned for him to wear those with his black jeans and white button up shirt. I bought the shirt yesterday and he hadn't seen it yet.

Vivian came back a few minutes later holding her prize. "How many pairs of boots does that man own?!"

"I lost count at 23."

Her eyebrows shot up at my statement and I laughed.

"That boy needs a life. He knows cowboys are a thing of the wild west, which died a few hundred years ago, right?"

I shrugged and shook my head. "I'm the wrong person to ask."

She threw her hands up and sat down in the leather chair. I finished pressing Shawn's shirt and hung it up on the clothes rack.

"Any word from Bailey?"

"Yeah, we talked on the phone yesterday." I sat down next to her. "I guess the guy our mom met on Tinder is officially her boyfriend now."

"Oo, and you've still not seen a picture of him?"

"Nope!" I popped the 'p'. My mom and I haven't really talked since I left. I guess she's been so busy with work and stuff. At least my dad has to pay child support.

Andrew came in to let us know that Shawn had finished with the meet and greet. We nodded and walked out to see him before he went in for the q&a session.

Shawn saw me and ran in my direction with open arms. I met him half way and we embraced tightly. "I love you Lily."

"I love you too Shawn." I smiled up at him and kissed his cheek.

"Jake told me there were some gifts for you from fans."

I got so excited, I loved getting fan gifts. "Point me in their direction!

He chuckled and took my hand. We walked over to a room that was next to the q&a room and stepped inside. There were seven gift bags and three wrapped boxes that had my name on them.

"I'm gonna go, talk to you later?" Shawn kissed my cheek and walked out, leaving me by myself.

I turned towards the gifts and rubbed my hands together. There was a wrapped object that was calling my name. It was lopsided and flopped when I picked it up. The sparkly pink paper glittered as I tore into it.

Inside, lay three baby onesies. I drew in a breath and smiled at what I saw. They were all tie-dyed different colors. One was pink and purple, another was green and pink, and the last was blue and white. They were by far the cutest onesies I've ever seen.

I reached for another package and opened it. It contained three coordinated shirts. The one for Shawn read 'Thing 1', the one for me read 'Thing 2', and the one for our daughter read 'Thing 3'.

The next gift was a shirt that someone had made which read 'Shawn Mendes protection squad'. There was also a box of See's Candy fudge as well.

I opened the rest of the gifts and added them to the growing pile. A little over half was baby things and the rest was for me. Shawn's fans never ceased to amaze me with all their generosity.

Brian and Josiah came in. "Who had a party and didn't invite me?" Brian raised his eyebrows.

"These are from the fans. They're for me and.... god, Shawn and I really need to think of a name for her." I replied and got up.

"We were just about to take the golf cart outside. Wanna come with us?"

"Definitely! Let's go boys."

I walked with the two of them out to our waiting vehicle. At least this time, Faye wouldn't be waiting outside.

The air was hot as Josiah drove. There were already about 200 people lined up to get in and a whole lot more milling about. It was only 4pm and doors didn't open for another 2 hours.

The majority of the fans paid no mind to us, some waved, and others screamed. A few people came up and asked for a picture with me. I agreed, obviously, and Brian snapped the pictures.

The Staples Center was laid out the same as for Ed's concert last week. He was going to try to come tonight, along with a few other people. When Shawn and I went to see him, I guess a famous YouTuber was at the concert too, along with Meghan Trainor and John Legend.

Brian and I got back in the cart after I had finished taking pictures. Josiah continued driving until we got to a food cart. He ordered some pretzels for us and we finished our circle around the building.

By the time we had completed our roundabout and eater our food, Shawn was just coming out of the q&a session. He strode towards me with a big smile on his face. "I think the fans love you more than they do me."

"Oh boloney." I put my hands on my hips and cocked my head to the side.

"No, it's true! Quite a few of the questions involved your name." He held up his hands.

"Okay okay," I patted his shoulder.

"I'm gonna go soundcheck if you wanna come."

"I would but Sarah and Morgan should be here soon." Shawn had arranged for my friends to come right after he soundchecked.

"Sounds good!"

I searched around the facility to find Teddy. He was playing basketball with Connor and another one of the crew. "Yo, wanna come meet my friends?"

"Duh! Lead the way bae."

He followed me out through the arena and threw the side doors. I had told my friends to meet me by will call at 4:45, and it was a couple minutes till.

A few seconds later, I heard two familiar voices call out my name. I turned to look and Morgan and Sarah were charging at me. I sprinted towards them and we all hugged each other tightly and let loose a waterfall of happy tears.

"I missed you guys so much!!" I smiled and danced around.

"We missed you too babe! And oh my god you're so big! I can't believe you're actually pregnant with Shawn Mendes' baby!!" Sarah grinned and clapped her hands together.

"You two ready to meet him?"

"Oh my god yes!" Morgan jumped up and down.

"Oh, by the way, this is Teddy." I turned towards him. "Teddy, this is Sarah, and this is Morgan. They're my besties."

"It's a pleasure to meet you ladies." He bowed and shook their hands.

The four of us walked to the main doors and waited for Jake to let us back in. He lead us down the stairs to the ground level and back past the barricade. I gave my friends backstage passes and we officially walked backstage.

Shawn was waiting for us in a room we had sectioned off prior. I turned to face Sarah and Morgan, "Okay, he's right through that door. You two ready?"

"Yes!!" They squealed in unison.

I opened the door and ushered them inside. After they went in, I left to go finish making plans with Shawn Access about surprising them with front row seats.

This was probably going to be my favorite concert yet!!

I completely forgot it was Thursday, I'm so sorry. I went to go see The Rise of Skywalker tonight! I was listening to fetus Shawn as I was writing this chapter and got deep into my feels.
