"TIME TO WAKE UP LAZY BONES!!!" Bailey jumped on top of me, dragging me from my sleep.

I groaned and rubbed my eyes, "What time is it? I feel like I got hit by a truck."

"It's 3:30 in the afternoon."

Wow, the jet lag is destroying my sleep schedule. Well, technically high school did that, but whatever. "Okay, I'm up."

Shawn and his family were going to be here in two hours and I was still in bed. I yawned and slid out, making sure to keep Shawn's hoodie loose around my torso. The $200 I owed Bailey fell out of my pocket and onto the floor.

She spotted it and picked it up. "200? I didn't get a boyfriend."

"Oh, well keep it anyways." I felt bad lying to her, but it was only temporary.

"Sweet, thanks Lil." She hugged me.

I buried my face in her hair which smelled like strawberries and vanilla. She'd been using my shampoo, of course. When you have sisters, boundaries are nonexistent.

"Get out so I can change. And tell mom I'll be down in a few minutes, I just need to call Shawn."

She saluted and shut the door behind her. I turned to my dresser and dug through until I found the article of clothing I was looking for, a navy blue, form fitting dress. It was stretchy so it curved around my belly nicely. I grabbed Shawn's old Magcon hoodie he gave me and pulled that over the dress to hide everything waist up.

My phone, sitting on my nightstand, began buzzing. It was Shawn.

"Hi babe!"

"Hey! How are you?"

"Great! Just about to call you actually!"

"Great minds think alike." He chuckled, which made me smile. "So, you ready for tonight?"

My stomach started threatening nausea, "Not at all. I'm scared to death. I'm sure my parents won't kill me, but will they hate me?"

"If they do, they're bad parents." His reassuring voice calmed me.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"I'll see you soon!"

"Bye."

I sighed and hung up. Tonight was definitely going to be a wild ride. Was it going to be good? One can only hope.

I walked downstairs and met up with my mom and dad. "Where's Bailey?"

"She's in the garage getting the broom." My mom beckoned me over to the couch.

I sat down next to her and she wrapped her arms around me. "I love you sugar."

Not after what Shawn and I are going to tell you and dad tonight.

"I love you too mom."

Bailey came back at that moment. "Gee thanks, making me do all the work while you guys goof off."

I stood up and gave her a hug, "What would I do without you?"

"Probably die of boredom," she smirked and hugged me back. "Hey, you drink a lot or something? I think I feel a beer belly forming."

I tried to keep my eyes from widening in horror. I didn't know what to say. I had to think of something to say before anyone gets suspicious. Mental note, don't let anyone else hug me.

"Yeah, the age is 18 most places in Europe."

My mom looked shocked, "Excuse me young lady!"

"Mom, chill out," Bailey cut in. "You and dad booze it up every Friday and Saturday night."

I held back a laugh and walked into the kitchen to get some water.

The doorbell rang loudly. "I'll get it!" Bailey ran to the door.

I heard the hinges squeak and voices outside. Bailey said something then Shawn replied. My heart fluttered at his voice and I felt the baby move. I'm guessing they're getting accustomed to his voice.

I needed to go to my 20 week appointment so I can find out the gender and stop calling the baby a 'them'. I had so many baby names I loved. Finn, Thomas, Eli, Ashton, or Neal for a boy, and Margo, Penelope, Jade, Darcy, or Octavia for a girl. And that's just my top five.

Shawn and his family appeared. He smiled when he saw me wearing his hoodie. Aaliyah hugged me, along with Karen. It was so good to see familiar faces.

Shawn made his way over to me and planted a kiss on my forehead. "I missed you since yesterday darling."

"I missed you too," I giggled.

"So, what's new?"

"Nothing much. Oh, I need to schedule my 20 week appointment. I was thinking we could have a gender reveal party at the end of this month?"

"That sounds great!" He smiled and wrapped his arms around my waist. "I'm very excited."

"Me too Shawn, me too."

My mom called everyone in to the dining room for dinner. There was fish and chips on the menu, one of my favorite meals.

"So, what was your favorite part about Europe?" Karen asked me and Shawn.

"I loved the atmosphere! Traveling to a different continent was such a cool experience." I replied.

"I'd have to second that," Shawn agreed. "But if I had to add something, it would be seeing the fans and hearing their energy."

"I bet that's so awesome!" Bailey cut in.

"Oh it is!"

We ate in silence for a while. I felt Shawn's hand move from his lap to my thigh. The warmth sent tingles up the remainder of my leg. He slowly began tracing shapes into the fabric of my dress.

I tried not to squirm, he knew exactly what he was doing to me. I began bouncing my leg to try to get him off, but he squeezed my thigh and held it still. I let out a little yelp, which caused me to receive strange looks from my parents.

Once everyone was finished, we moved to the sofas in our living room. I sat on Shawn's lap and rested my head on his shoulder. Once again, he put his hand on my thigh, but this time it was a different feeling.

I didn't want to look up at him, for I knew exactly why he was trying to get my attention. Finally, I got up the courage to look him in the eye. Reluctantly, I gave in to the question that burned in the back of his eye sockets.

Shawn helped me stand up, my legs felt like jello. I think the last time I was this nervous was went I told Shawn about the baby. What could go wrong? On I don't know... my parents could throw me out.

We walked out to the middle of the rug and stood there as bravely as we could. Everyone looked at me expectantly. I cleared my throat. "We have news..."

Shawn laced his fingers into mine and squeezed. We spoke in unison, "We're going to have a baby."

"You're kidding..."

"Haha...what?"

"Oh dear."

"Oh.my.god."

"Shut up!"

"I knew this would happen!!"

I can't listen to music while writing, it's official. I was listening to Luke Hemmings' beautiful and started typing his name instead of Shawn's lmao. I hope everyone enjoyed the chapter!
