Chapter 9
"Sam is that you?" Dean asked when he heard footsteps. Dean was getting worried, it had been 2 hours since he had seen Sam or Cas. "Hahahahah!" "What the hell was that?" Dean said after he heard what sounded like cackling. "Who's there?!" Dean yelled to the darkness. "Hahahahah!" Dean started to run from the noise. He heard footsteps behind him, they were getting closer. Dean ran until he got to a doorway and got behind it. "Hello ape." Something hit Dean and knocked him clean out.
"Dean? Dean wake up!" Sam shouted. "What? What happened?" Dean asked Sam. Dean's head was bleeding like crazy. "The witch got us," Sam told him, "looks like she got you pretty good, Dean." Sam said. Just then Dean realized his head was bleeding. Dean looked around. They were in the storage part of the warehouse, there was blood covering the floor, and a huge stove. Sam and dean were tied to gigantic steel poles sticking out of the ground. "Where's Cas?" Dean asked concerned. "I don't know maybe she didn't get him." Sam could see the fear for the angel's life in Dean's eyes. "Sam, Dean?" Cas asked through the radio. "Castiel? Yeah it's us man, you ok?" Sam asked. "Yes I am fine. She is very powerful. She knows about angles too, I'm stuck in holy oil. It's hard to keep this link, I can't hold it for long." He told them. "No talking little ones!" The witch said as she walked out of the next room. "Oh, I'm sorry about your head darling, I didn't mean to hurt you," She said as came into the light. She was about as tall as Castiel, with red eyes, a ugly long nose, and raggedy clothes. She walked over to Dean and gently pinched his cheeks. "What do you want with us?" Dean asked as he jerked away from her. "Well to eat you of course." She told them. Dean looked at Sam. "Why are you turning people into children?" Sam asked. "Children are, well, sweeter than grown men. Especially the damaged ones, orphans, the ones in emotional pain." She told them. "Then why do you want us? We aren't having a hard time, none of us are in pain." Sam yelled, Dean looked at his feet. "I really like the stressed. Ohh yes and the ones that have had all their pain and suffering bottled up for years. I could smell it on you and the Angel from a miles away" She said as she looked at Dean. "Dean what is she talking about?" Sam shouted at Dean. She bent down to where Dean's face was and said "Oh he doesn't know, all pain you hold inside. Every nightmare you have, every tear you shed at night. Ohhh this is rich." She stood up and smiled. "Dean?" Sam looked at Dean with concern in his eyes. Dean looked back at Sam, I'm sorry was written all over his face, but he never said a word. She got up. "And the angel well he is just scared. Mostly of himself, but also of what will happen if he can't save you two." "How do you know all this?" Dean asked wondering how he was going to explain this to Sammy. "Well I read it of course, out of your minds. Anyway let me go get the angel, I'm getting hungry."
