Gabriel's point of view.   

I grinned cheekily crossing off the thirtieth day of the month and using some Grace to write in Sammy's writing, trip to the zoo.

A few months had past and it turns out, some of our Grace has come back to us and we can now use some of it again. It tries us out though.

Lucie as usual, has been grumpy and irritable and spent most of his time locking himself in his room, though when he locks himself in the bathroom instead it's funny to watch Sam and Dean dance about yelling at him to open up.

Cas, on the other hand, snuggled up to Dean or stayed near him as much as he could.

But it was getting very boring and now I wanted things to change, at least for the day. Watching the nature programs that Cas had on made me want to see them again. Course, not being able to get to Heaven limited us to having to go to the Zoo.

Putting the pen down with a smirk and running back to my room and crawling into bed I pretended to be asleep when Sam came in to wake me up a couple hours later.

"Hey Gabriel, wakey wakey!" Sam said trying to gently wake me up like normal.

I pretended to yawn and stretch awake. "Morning Sammy" I smiled.

Sam did as well and grinned excitedly. "We're going to the zoo!" He told me.

Yes. The plan had worked and he hadn't caught on! "Yay!" I cheered and jumped out of bed.

With some help I got my clothes on and went downstairs to have breakfast.

"Gowing to the zoo, we're gowing to the zoo!" Cas chanted cheerfully throughout breakfast and all the way to the zoo.

After paying the entry fee to get into the zoo we began walking around. The first place we went to was the petting zoo. Cas was smitton with the rabbits and goats at first sight and tried mimicking the animals, almost too well. We began to get glances and one person tried to record Cas from their phone before we had to move on.

This was my favorite place, the parots and budgies and flamingoes, the colours, sizes, noises! it was almost like being back in heaven when we had to tell each other the news that we had gathered. It made me a bit homesick but aside from that, they were amazing.

Lucifer had a whale of a time with the tigers, my brother wanted to talk to the tiger so he crawled through the railings and sat with the tiger who licked his head in greeting and began to care for him. All animals did that to Angels, they know not to harm us and that we are friends and can help them, when they need it.

But apparently humans don't know this because people began screaming in fear for my brother and even Sam and Dean were worried for him.

The keepers came into the cage and tried to get lucifer but being as annoying as my brother, he told the tiger to stop them so the tiger tried to stop the keepers from getting him. Lucifer pretended to be a child and laughed gleefully.

In the end they sedated the tiger, ie, made the tiger sleep before they got Lucifer and handed him back to Sam and Dean. They had a lot of explaining to tell the keepers as to why he wasn't being closely watched. Michael, who had been quietly and invisibally (to the brothers) watching us for the day warned that he would punish Lucifer in our head via Angel radio and that stopped Lucifer from being any more mis-behaving.
