|8|Just Another Villain|

~O~

The UA teachers were all gathered around the meeting hall, discussing the current situation.

What should they do? The League took Midoriya and now they just couldn't just go and get him back, after all All For One was back in action and All Might was retired. If they went to rescue Midoriya, it might end up worse than if they didn't. They didn't have someone who could fight the Symbol of Evil. What would they do if he decided to strike back, they would all be dead. And on the top of everything else; they didn't know the League's whereabouts.

The Heroes needed a plan. A safe strategy. They needed to think through this very carefully. Midoriya's life could be in danger. They needed to do something quick. They needed a plan. And fast.

But just what?

The teachers were in a tight spot. Present Mic and Midnight questioning everything. Aizawa's anger held down Vlad King when the latter was about to say something stupid like Class-1-B never had a single kidnapping case. All Might was quiet. So quiet, he was looking down as if he was the one responsible for all this.

All Might felt horrible. A melancholic aura lurking all over him. Unreasonable guilt slowly eating him away. His successor was abducted. And on the top of that; he was right in All For One's reach. All Might's predecessor sacrificed her life for his safety and what did he do for his successor? Nothing at all. Throughout the meeting, the former number one hero only told himself that it was all his fault Midoriya was taken away so easily.

Yeah, the boy was taken away so easily...

Wait.

The boy was taken away so easily.

Izuku Midoriya was not the one who would just let any villain grab him. He was one stubborn fighter. Then why was it so—!?

Could it be,

That Midoriya was planning something?

~O~

The rest of Midoriya's day seemed to go on by him only trying to use more quirks. And for the green haired boy, when it came to quirks, time always seemed to fly by so fast. He didn't even realize that he had been there practicing alone as both All For One and Kurogiri had left for something else. Though, he did notice Kurogiri coming back into the observation panel after some time and watching over him as he got a better hold of his new power.

Sadly, he couldn't practice Toga's quirk since he needed someone else's blood for that.

The others seemed to work perfectly fine just like All For One had told him earlier. He could pretty much use the quirks almost perfectly. Guess you can say, being a nerd pays off. Especially in this situation.

Midoriya's only regret in that moment was that how worried everyone back at UA would be for him — those in particular to whom he didn't tell anything at all. Like, All Might for example. But whatever, everyone being worried made it look more original so why not? Everyone being worried about him and searching for him would give a nice touch to his plan so let it be. He'd apologize later... or maybe not at all.

Anyway, Midoriya's attention was brought away from the quirks and UA when Kurogiri called out to him, telling him that it was getting pretty late and he should eat something and take some rest.

'Oh, whoa, someone cares!'

Midoriya was led outside the area by Kurogiri. The two walked up a flight of stairs in silence before Midoriya realized that they were recently underground. Upon, arriving at the first floor, the two saw Twice passing by. The villain stopped when he saw Kurogiri and Midoriya and waved at them with great enthusiasm.

"Kurogiri! And Midoriya, right?!" Twice exclaimed as he walked up to them. Kurogiri merely nodded as Midoriya turned to look at Twice.

"So, he's the one joining us, amiright? Man, he's soooooo much easier than that chaotic rebellious child. Why can't the others just agree simply like him? Though that was very ruthless of you to betray the heroes, kid. I'm proud of you already." Twice said poking Midoriya's forehead.

"Uh... Thanks I guess?" Midoriya smiled awkwardly.

"You guys heading somewhere?" Twice asked Kurogiri.

"No. I was just taking him to his room so he could rest." Kurogiri replied.

"Leave that to me!!" Twice gave the bartender a thumbs up as he threw an arm around Midoriya, "I'll take care of him like my little brother—! But wait, I killed my little brother... Just kidding! I never had a little brother to begin with!" Twice exclaimed gleefully.

"—Unless..." He quickly turned around, putting his hand on his chin trying to think something as a black shadow surrounded him while Midoriya and Kurogiri just smiled at him.

"...Are you sure you can handle?" Kurogiri asked. He wasn't getting paid enough for this.

"Absolutely!!" Twice turned around, giving him a thumbs up again.

"Fine then..."

5 minutes later...

"I don't know how to take care of children!!!!!" Twice cried.

"Um... I'm fine. I just—!"

"No, no, no! Don't say it! I'm taking care of you okay! Don't say anything. I know what to do. I'm an adult and I must take responsibility."

"Okay... Then how about we—!"

"I'm a horrible babysitter!!"

"... What the fu—?"

"Toga!! Help me!!"

And so, Midoriya spent the rest of the day, or in this case; night with Twice and Toga. It didn't take too long before the other League members counted him among themselves as well. Twice was basically his friend now, Toga was way too much obsessed with him so he decided to keep his distance from her.

Spinner wasn't that hard to get to. Just by judging his clothing and fighting style; Midoriya knew he was a huge fan of Stain and since Spinner knew Stain spared and then saved Midoriya's life; he fell right in the palm of his hand.

Mr. Compress tried to put up a challenge. Midoriya had to impress the magician with his knowledge and his amazing hold on the villain's quirk. However, Mr. Compress was taken aback from the detailed knowledge the boy had. As a good magician, he always preferred to be updated. And this kid had it all.

Midoriya never saw Dabi around the base so he figured he would just have to wait for the next day or whenever he would be able to see him. Midoriya already knew Kurogiri trusted him enough to let him roam freely around the base.

And now, green haired boy decided that his next prey would be Tomura Shigaraki...

Hitoshi Shinsou had done the first thing he was supposed to do according to the new journal Midoriya left behind for them.

Apparently, Midoriya visited a bookshop three days before the kidnapping had occurred and he placed a few orders that Shinsou was supposed to deal with.

As the instructions said, Shinsou dialed the number written in the journal which he assumed was of the bookshop's delivery service. When someone picked up the call from the other end he told him three different addresses that were also written down in the journal for three different deliveries.

After the call, Shinsou looked at the journal again to figure what book was going where and to whom. And to his surprise, he knew two of the three addresses very well. But he couldn't figure out where the third book was going. An out of context book, different from the others going to a place Shinsou never knew about.

The books were;

The Art of War to the Pro Hero Endeavor.

Spies of Nippon to Momo Yaoyorozu.

And finally,

True Believers to an unknown person.

Well, at least he could ask Yaoyorozu what exactly was going to happen.

Enji Todoroki or better known as Endeavor was seen in his office, sitting by his desk, staring at a book that came in a few minutes ago. Sender unknown.

Though he can't deny the fact that the signature on the last page of the book was undeniably done by the Head of Public Safety Commission... That is unless someone is great at copying signatures.

The book was old, he remembered hearing something about it but he never found the time to read a copy.

Perhaps, now was the time.

Endeavor opened the book and turned to the first page.

Everything except a few words was blacked out by ink.
