|18|Grand Plan|

~O~

There was a greyish black substance that appeared in midair. And then All For One had arrived in the middle of the mountains of Kyoto, a little far away from the Nomu plant where everyone was.

And let's just say,

The Symbol of Evil felt a chill run down his spine for the first time in forever.

It was raining blood...

It was actually raining blood. Which was the ultimate sign of the success of Izuku Midoriya's grand plan.

And the young Mastermind himself was there too, he looked like he was barely standing on his feet. He was a little far, standing on the top of a higher hill than All For One. He was smiling so gleefully, admiring what he had done. The villain began wondering what the boy can and will bring down on this world when he becomes an actual Pro Hero.

Midoriya noticed him from all the way up there. He smiled even wider.

"ALL FOR ONE!!" The green haired boy called out to the villain, "Look!! I did it, didn't I?! It's raining blood!! I played the villain too!! I protected and aided my allies!! I'm winning against my enemies!! Shigaraki ain't coming out to help! The rest of the League is probably getting arrested! I did everything I said I will!!"

"What did you do?!" Midoriya exclaimed in question. "Where is your grand plan? Do I not get the taste of what the Symbol of Evil is capable of? Or are you getting too old to use your head in a battle? Either way, you lose! My victory is clear as a day!"

All For One just stood there. Unable to say anything.

How did this even happen?

~O~

Earlier, when Mirko's group blindly rushed into the completed Nomus' compartment...

Shinsou saw them on the display screen and immediately tried to turn on his communicator, "I'll alert them this insta—!"

"Don't." Midoriya cut him off, placing his hand on the purple haired boy's shoulder. "Cut off all communication."

"Wh-What...?" Shinsou turned to him, he looked flabbergasted. Midoriya was here now, his plan was working fine, they were going to finish the Nomus with everyone... Then why was he telling him to let them rush in danger, especially with no contact whatsoever.

"Let them." Midoriya said with a small smile and half closed eyes. He was... Enjoying this.

"Are you crazy?!"

"Listen here now, you guys call me the Mastermind, right?" Midoriya said, showing both of his hands to Shinsou — they were empty, "The Mastermind demands you to do as he says and leave the rest of the situation to him..." The green haired boy then moved his right hand behind Shinsou's ear and pulled it back, curled up in a fist. He then opened his fist to reveal a cyan blue orb in between his two fingers. Like that one old magic trick.

"Just look after Eri for a while," Midoriya clutched on the circular object, "And let this Mastermind move the pieces..." He opened his right hand to show the orb wasn't there anymore but now it was in his other hand.

"After all, All For One thinks I have just taken their bishop," He closed his left hand and opened it to now reveal three cyan blue orbs. "But I already have their rook and queen as well... In a game like chess, it's a simple way of winning. Use delusions and make your enemy look the other way, moving their attention from the hidden threat. Then lead them to their ultimate demise... Playing dirty is the most logical way of winning, you know."

Followed by that small speech, there was a slight chuckle after which Midoriya left.

After a few seconds, Shinsou snapped back to reality and immediately cut off all communications just as he was told. He understood now... Midoriya was right. Just as he said, use delusions in this game. By cutting off communication Shinsou would spread a sense of fear and panic through the heroes and when the villains would see their state of trouble, they'd think they're winning. It would look like they were winning And just when their hopes would reach their peak, Midoriya would come in and destroy it all. A dirty play but the most logical way. Amazing.

Shinsou also understood that Midoriya took Shigaraki as the bishop.

But what in the world did he take as the rook and the queen?

~O~

Hands locked behind his back, softly humming, slightly smiling, Midoriya leisurely strolled to the room across the hallway. He could hear the shouts and yells from here.

Midoriya took a glance at the cyan blue orbs in his hand before putting them in his pocket and entering the storage compartment.

It was chaos.

There were about ten or something students from both Class-1-A and Class-1-B, Mirko was trying to deal with the majority of the trouble, some students were also fighting while others were trying to contact the heroes on rest of the positions around the plant only to realize that they weren't able to since Shinsou finished all communication — but that wasn't something they knew. So, naturally they thought the villains were getting an upper hand.

But in the middle of all the havoc, from afar, Monoma caught the sight of Midoriya standing in the doorframe. The green haired boy had such a complacent expression, it made a chill run down the blonde's spine.

Clearly, Midoriya had noticed  him too because the boy gave him a wide innocent smile. Monoma froze in his place.

Midoriya, on the other hand, inhaled, took a step back, and used Best Jeanist's quirk to get a hold of about five students at once — Kamakiri, Ashido, Shiozaki, Iida and Tsunotori. He pulled the strings back with one hand, pulling the students towards him and at the same time used Honenuki's quirk and softened the wall next to him, so the students would have a comfortable landing.

While the students recovered from the sudden action, Midoriya repeated the procedure and got the other five students — Monoma, Jirou, Kuroiro, Sato and Tokoyami. Except, he made them land on the other wall next to him, after softening it of course.

And just as he retracted those fiber strings back, Midoriya got a smack straight on the head from Iida. "Ow! What was that for?!" Midoriya whined, rubbing his head.

"For acting insanely reckless, making us all worry about you, playing dead, coming out of nowhere and still acting insanely reckless!" Iida said and before Midoriya could say something in reply or apologize, Iida grabbed both of his shoulder and shook him, exclaiming, "Do you have any idea how devastated everyone was when Todoroki said you died?!"

"A-And you still need to explain why you can use multiple quirks like me!" Monoma added from the side, trying to keep his cool and not wanting anyone to realize that he froze and thought that he had seen an actual ghost when his eyes landed on Midoriya. The other students too exclaimed about how Midoriya should do better explaining next time and not fool them.

Yeah, that wasn't gonna happen.

The green haired boy motioned them to calm down and told them that he would explain everything once all the commotion was over. Thankfully, they all did as they were told.

Just then, Mirko came rushing — or er... hoping through the mess that room had became and skidded to a halt once she reached the students to check on their condition.

"What happened here!?" Mirko asked before her eyes landed on a new face to her, which was Midoriya. "Oh. Hey... Who's that?"

"Hi, I'm the Mastermind." Midoriya replied nonchalantly, still rubbing his head where Iida smacked him.

"Ah, nice to meet ya." Mirko smiled.

"Thanks. Feeling's mutual." Midoriya said.

'They're so cool about it...' The other ten students collectively thought, sweat-dropping.

"So.... If you are the Mastermind, then what're we supposed to do next?" Jirou asked.

"Ah, don't worry. You guys have done enough." Midoriya side-eyed her, smiling, "Now sit back and watch how a real Villain Leader works his game up..."

With that, everyone was teleported away from the compartment, somewhere near Endeavor's group.

Once everyone was gone and the area was clear from someone getting hurt, Midoriya took a look at the Nomus. Those mindless creatures weren't doing anything that could give out an outcome. There were about forty-five to fifty of them.

Midoriya coughed and saw the blood oozing out of his mouth like crazy. He bit down on his lip to ignore the immense searing pain in his body. Probably the side effect of using so many quirks at the same time and not using Rewind for a while. Midoriya activated Eri's quirk, a beige horn reappeared on the side of his forehead. Now standing limply, with drowsy eyes and a wicked grin, the green haired boy threw his arms up in the air.

"It's time, All For One... It's time for you to lose."

He brought his hands down with a sudden action and then there was purple and golden merged with bright green. Followed by intense pain, pain and pain.

In that one moment, Midoriya had used One For All, Rewind and Warp-gate together. His hands created several warp gates that went down with a motion and teleported the Nomus to where Midoriya had already set something up a little before he surprised Shinsou in the control panel. As well as, he used Rewind for the state of his body. He can deal with the pain, it was no big deal. But he didn't want to have any internal or external injuries that could slow him down right now. And finally, he used his own power to support his body and give himself a push.

The pain going throughout his body was worse than ever.

But they say no pain no gain for a reason, right?

Midoriya could never be thankful enough that he was practically numb to the feeling of pain.

Once the Nomus were out, Midoriya sucked in a deep breathe. The grin on on his face was wider than ever, perhaps it was the sudden rush of energy that he felt. Golden and bright green sparks still emerged from his body. He took a moment and steadied his breathing.

Midoriya then teleported himself out as well.

~O~

Midoriya opened his eyes directly under the sky. The sun was slowly getting down, but the day wasn't over yet.

The green haired boy was standing atop a higher ground than where he teleported the Nomus.

Where did he teleported the Nomus? Right above his trap.

The trap? A few hundred metres away from the plant, Midoriya made tall, sharp, tough spikes from stones using Chisaki's quirk earlier. These spikes were sharp enough to pierce through the Nomus and keep them midair due to their length.

And that's exactly what happened.

With a slight chuckle, Midoriya wiped away blood from the side of his lips. And then he placed both of his hands on the ground. He used Overhaul to take care of the Nomus and One For All to strengthen the first quirk.

The sharp stony spikes and Nomus, exploded from the inside. And the result looked like a bloody rain.

Since the spikes held those mindless being pretty high above the ground level — where Midoriya was standing, the blood kept going like that for a while. That was enough time for All For One to arrive at scene as well. Midoriya was so glad All For One didn't miss the amazing scenery.

Ah...

It was back...

That one feeling of accomplishment. That one feeling he noted down to enjoy again. That one feeling when they can't read you. The feeling of insane victory.

And now here we were. All For One just standing there. Midoriya smiling with a tired posture. And blood raining down until there was no more.

The ground All For One stood on was now red as a whole. The rain stopped.

So far, the Mastermind and his grand plan had nothing but earned success.

But now, without another word being said, it was time...

It was time for a final battle.

And Midoriya was tired as hell. Barely standing straight and keeping his eyes open. While All For One was in a fair condition.

Of course there was no evading the physical battle anymore. They had to fight and they had to fight. And that would declare the final and absolute winner.

But that's just something All For One would think.

Because Midoriya still had the queen and the rook.

The green haired boy took out those two cyan blue orbs.
