Molten ran through the store, trying to find the perfect last-minute costume. His mother had given him 30 drips to find the perfect thing He had looked through virtually every aisle in the store, only to find left over magic wands, torn wigs, and forgotten warrior swords.

He continued to panic, running through the clothing, dishes, and even the coffee makers. He stopped in the bedroom aisle, filled with pillows, blankets, and sheets.

He jumped up and clutched a light blue, almost white sheet in his claws. "It's perfect!" He exclaimed, skipping to the self-checkout with excitement. He grabbed a chocolate bar for himself, slid his money into the machine, grabbed his receipt, and dashed out of the store.

He looked up at the sky to see that the sun was setting. "People are gonna be trick or treating soon," He muttered, speeding to his den.

Once he made it, he excitedly skipped in the door and called, "Hey mom, I'm home with my costume!"

"What'd you get?" She asked. After she came out of the kitchen, she gasped in shock. "Honey, that's not a costume, it's a sheet!"

"I know, mom, but watch." Molten went to his art corner, unpackaged the sheet, and got ready his scissors and paint. His mother padded back and fourth nervously, swinging his red bucket around. Molten cut holes in part of the sheet, making room for his eyes. He then dyed the ends of the sheet a crimson, to represent blood. Finally, he added some fake blood to the fur that would show, and he was done.

"Hey mom, can you put this on me? It's kinda hard to get over my head." Molten asked, handing it to her.

"Of course, honey!" She replied, plopping the sheets on him and carefully adjusting it. "Oh, you're a spooky little ghost! I love it!"

"Thanks, Mom, now I should probably go."

"Yep."

"Hey bro, where have you been?" One of Molten's friends asked, dressed up as a brave knight.

"Yeah, we were about to start without you!" The second friend, a mage, waved her wand around.

"I was just adding some details to my costume," Molten stated, "Now, let's go!"
