" . . . Stay with me . . . just for tonight."

======================================

I leisurely walked through the grey hallway of the ruin, whose pillars still stood tall despite their crumbling state. Alvad's aura was fading and reappearing all over the place as he shifted from shadow to shadow. His presence carried a mind set I was familiar to what I had had before. No fear of  Death. The curse mark over my eye itches, but I managed to so resist the urge of scratching it. Truth to be told, the pain it was radiating had limited my movement. This was due to me having only a slim amount of magic energy left to feed it, since I had not awaken yet. I stopped in my tracks and look up at the grand, wooden doors before me.

            There were only two choices left for me to choose from. I knew that all too well . . . But both will rain sorrow on me or him, and leave us forever lost in this abyss of pain. Slowly, I pushed the doors open and made my way in, to finally come face to face with Lucifer and Yuki sitting on a single-silver couch with only a marble table before them, that had a bottle of white wine and three champagne flutes waiting patiently. The room was hollow and nearly empty with Callen standing by the door, arms crossed, and sword in its sheath which was tied to the cloth on his waist that he used as a belt. "Ow~ we have special guests~" Alvad cooed as he jumped out of the shadows, and hopped to my side, half of his face still stained with a mixture if dried and liquid blood.

          Yuki shifted closer to Lucifer at the gory sight of Alvad's eye, before sparing me a concerned expression. "What do you plan on reaching with this little plan of yours?" The black haired demon sternly asked narrowing his deep black eyes at me.

          "That matter doesn't concern me much, I have other problems. Ask them, I've left it up to them to lead this " plan" you speak of," I did not even bother to sit down, this conversation was going to be short and quick anyway.

          The demon's gaze shifted to my dagger, which had blood a bit splattered over its hilt."So I take it you want to stay here and rot in these ruins?"

          "For your information, these 'ruins' you used to speak of is where our tribe used to settle in as a secret sanctuary, that the demons YOU led destroyed!" Callen bursted, his face unexpectedly pouring out anger, before I could even reply.

          I shot him a glare to make him aware of his position, causing him to flinch at the spot and bitterly swallow his words. "Anyway, yes I plan on staying here . . . But you already know why. So tell me . . . Why are you really here?"

         Lucifer closed his eyes for a moment, taking a second to arrange his choice of words, before looking back up at me," Do you plan on killing him, so you can go back to the Celestial Realm?"

          Yuki and Callen seemed to be the only ones stunned, by the demon's words, but I could only stand there with a disappointed expression. "Kill him?" I would have when I first met him, but now . . . " Of course not."

          Lucifer's eyes widened at my reply, to which I reacted with a weak smile. "God still has hope for me to comeback up there, but I can't grant his last request. Therefore, at my Awakening my soul will be completely corrupted, the curse will feed on all the magic energy that will planted within me, and take over once and for all. The Lunalight tribe will hopefully manage to limit me from severely damaging the realms with Alvad's magic . . . But only God knows how long that might work . . ." I swallowed,  feeling cold sweat dripping down my neck as I spilled out the reality of things. "Rest assured Lucifer, I would die a thousand deaths, rather than kill your brother."

           I gave him a small nod with a pained smile, before turning on my heels and leaving with Alvad tagging behind me this time; leaving Callen to bid the bewildered guests farewell.

         Just as the doors closed behind us and about to make my way back to the throne room, Alvad's firm grip on my wrist held me back. " Need somthin?" I asked in a bored tone, trying not to get him more hyped up than he already was after what happened. "Ah m'lady, your truly relying on me to pull this off completely for you~" he sang, wrapping his arms around my neck and snuggling his cold nose into the crook of my neck. "Ha, you smell just like her . . . Yuna."

         I shivered upon hearing him calling my name ever so softly, as his smug grin vanished, and replaced by a thin line. "Y-yuna."

        He slowly distanced himself away from me, hand still on my waist, as he pulled me deeper in the shadows, with agony, loneliness and lust mixed all together in those glowing-golden eyes. I had no idea where we where. I could barely adjust my eyes to the darkness to spot Alvad's features up close. His face an inch, and bright eyes trailing down at my lips. The air was cold and chilled, like that of winter's, and my ears twitched against the icy feeling, but it did not last. A hand found its way to my cheek, and another to my back. My hand unconsciously found its way to the nasty mark I had left on him out of my own vexation.

"Yuna . . . Stay with me . . . Just for tonight."
