"You alone can change the course of your fate,
For if you fail, then shall the three realms suffer for centuries to come."

One heart beat . . . One scream . . . My scream. I heavily opened my eyes to study my surrounding, but everything before me was burning ruins, black ashes, a nightmare-dark sky, battle cries, and . . . Blood. The only things that glowed, clean and untouched, were my two silver daggers. Their blades glistened in the dark the smoke in the area offered. A ball of light flew out of them; taking along their glow, before levitating in front of me and shifting in to a slightly humanoid figure. I tried covering my eyes in the process, but stopped mid-way upon noticing the crimson liquid that adorned them. "You're soul has become tained Yuna, by the fear of the unknown, and what is to come if it," the delicate voice soothed my ears, and that was when I noticed myself facing an awefully familiar and gorgeous woman.

No, a beast warrior! Long, ocean-blue hair; pale skin with a few shades of blue, bird talons and dressed in a teal, gypsy-like costume. "The name's Cordilia, also known as Iris," she introduced herself, before inching closer towards me." Yuna, there is not much time left for you to change the course if your fate, for if you don't, then is scenery shall soon replay itself in reality! The seed of fear has grown its roots within you, but at the same time so did your love. Despite there no longer exists any holy magic within your soul, God still hasn't given up on you. Yuna, you must redeem yourself, and set balance to connect the three realms, or lose yourself to the darkness within your attempt to do so!!"

She spoke hastily and in alarm, as if there was no time left, but I had so many questions. Questions that needed answers. "Yuna, I know your troubled with everything that has happened, but your not alone. Yuna. . . Just let them in. Accept both, your demons and angels. Beast warriors existed to protect, so who do you choose?"

With those words, she casted me a sad smile and faded out of my view, her soul finally at rest and freed. She was. . . As beautiful as the stories said. Reaching out to where she once stood, I caught sight if my bloodied hands again and heard thunder roar in the sky. "Y-yuna?!" I turned around to whoever called my name, and saw Satan . . . Or to be more precise, Louis, his past self.

For a moment I did not know what to say or do, but the human did not seemed to care, for he seemed more concerned by the wounds sprawled over his tired body. "Y-you . . . " he stumbled over the debris and ruins if the landscape, but still lifted his head and desperatly reached out to me. "Y-yuna, d-don't leave . . . Me."

My body slumped drown to the ground and my hands lifted his head to rest it over my lap. That was when I took notice of the large wound around his neck. . . As if someone tried to cut off his head . . .

Ah yes, I remember. A spy executed during one of the human wars. It has always been like that, right? Humans waging war amongst themselves. Fools. In The end it's the innocent that suffer the most.

Louis' eyes were barely open and out of the corner of his lips I could spot a strange green liquid smudged over it. My mind somehow managed to isolate itself from my surroundings: the cries, the screams, the clashing sounds of blades, and the bombing of the landscape . . . I ignored it all.

How could God still have faith in me? I was not an angel's familiar anymore, fell in love with a demon and now on the edge of starting a war. Hiss. I winced at the sudden pain throbbing over my left cheek, but before I could touch it, an ash coated hand reached out to it. Looking down, I could only lock my eyes with a pair of emerald ones. The abyss of wrath within them was now replaced with regret and despair. He was blaming himself, again." Yuna, if I die, will your pain go away? Afterall, you hate me right?" He asked, a pained smile washing over his features.

That question, I dreaded it with all my heart. Why does he ask me it every time? This pain was created by our destructive love. This love poisoned me. Therefore I'm now vunrable to corruption. Death might as well take me away instead.

"Knowing you, you wouldn't let me go and neither can I.
So dont go disappearing too,
Don't leave me to carry this pain alone.
Because . . .

*

*

*

*

*

. . . I love you too you know . . .
And it hurts a lot that I can't hate you anymore, Satan."

"I-if that's what you want Kitten, if that's what you want. . . Then I shall obey."
