"I just want to feel . . . Something. Anything."

===========================================================

"I call thee Great Creator, Craver of Land, Holy Father . . . " as the winged-warrior chanted the ceremonial speech, I felt concern overcoming me," . . . Please awaken the scared soul within."

The night sky's red moon let out a ray of it's amber light to glow dimly over us as we stood at a high cliff that would plummet any human into the roaring waves of the European sea-shore before us.

"Awakening Tyrant," a gentle, famine voice called out to me from behind," Your soul . . . still remains tainted."

I sighed in frustration," It seems so."

Turning around to face Cordiliia, her gentle features were tainted in concern. My hand subconsciously clutched the collar of my shirt. It. . . burns. There was a large amount of holy magic radiating from her, but it did not seem bound to her. "That magic . . . "

"This is. . ." she interrupted, spreading out her hands, summoning an orb emitting pure, crimson flames. " . . . your awakening stone."

A hopeless chuckle left my lips. This was it. "Yuna, you must," she took my hand in hers; as if reacting to her touch, the orb instantly shrunk, and twirled around her hands, before floating in front of my face.

Let go. Why can I not let go? My lips quivered, and my eyes stared up at the red moon dimly lit the night sky. These realms on this night, will either plunge into another blood shed war or become orchestrated under my rule, but what's after that? How long can I keep him away from this? Pushing aside the fury rising within, I glanced back at Callen. The warriors eyes were blank of any emotion, unwavering, cold. Looking at him alone made me feel only pressured further more. "Yuna, you must let him go," she spoke again her voice a lot more pleading and desperate. " Your soul cannot be tied down by a demon!"

Chills ran down my spine, as if the word was passing through ever living fragment and cell in my body. Demon. . . Demon. He is a demon, but it was not completely all his fault. I bit down on my lower lip in a fistful of rage and aggressively pushed the spirit away. The orb, as if panicking, began whizzing round in a hast. It's flames howled a call of wrath, before heading back towards me, crashing into the center of my chest, and vanishing into it, leaving behind literally a dim star-like shaped light glowing over the surface of my skin. I cold feel it against my heart, like a second life force, it's rapid beats and the roaring flames it bought with it. What a destructive melody it played though. It's tremendous power sunk into me like water trickling down on a land under a dry spell.

I clutched my chest in pain as I felt a feverish-feeling rising within and the screeches of pain ringing from the curse mark over me. A snake with nothing but venom.

"A scared soul tied down by a single-sin . . . Cannot earn the title of Angel's Familiar, nor a Lunalight Warrior," a delicate voice, so soft yet firm and resentful spoke.

No. . .No! I reached out to the bleeding sky and to where the voice came from, but only found myself calling out to no one but thin air. Despite all the magic surging through every part of me, I felt hollow. Empty. Useless. Lost everything I ever was to mere human emotions.

" Te hehe, a true sinner indeed," I heard someone call out from above.

While levitating three meters off the solid earth under me, I heard their hoarse screams raining down from the sky. Shadow Souls. Must have sensed my sorrow and rage, but I did not move and stared up at the shadowy hands reaching out for me as they neared closer and closer. What am I now anyway? A vengeful spirit? Then why do I feel so empty? So pointless.

I . . . I just want to feel something.

Pulling out the two daggers from their sheath, on the end of my hip, I felt an odd rush of excited desire pulsing through my blood, and the orb within me banging against my chest in a mix of desperation and suffocation, as the blades let out a small screech. Cordilla's calls became blurred into the back of my head as I stared up at the black army of souls approaching closer. "If I shall be deemed a sinner . . ." I started, leaping into the night's sky and towards the enemy ahead with daggers gleaming brightly against the dim moonlight, " . . . Then it is I alone, who shall live with this burden till the end!"

The blades cut-clean through their ghostly, black figures as I threw myself around in mid-air with the corrupted energy inside threatening to overflow. At some point, I was devouring every soul slaughtered under my blade, to fill the hollow feeling blooming in
me, but no amount seemed to satisfying enough. Pain. Suffering. Agony. Disappear. All their emotions . . . So fascinating!

My lungs shook as my mad laughter filled the battle field. Their hoarse voices' shrieks and cries . . . Not enough. More. Need more. More!

The wind rippled through my hair as I jumped form soul to sohl. The more I pleaded, the more I felt my mind slipping away with my sanity, but . . . It was when I felt myself losing control, my thoughts came back to reality, and it was then I realised that before me laid the withered ashes of the souls I had devoured. Their voices were still in my head. I could still taste the sweet terror they had felt till the very end.

Looking down at my blades, they had taken the form of pure, crystal, ruby red. Fragile , yet hard to break. My gasps for air did not slow down. I felt like I was going to blow up. So much sorrow. It's suffocating. My daggers let out a loud clatter, as I clutched my neck in pain, but not of the curse. That feeble thing had been consumed by me. It was the guilt. My guilt. That was what was killing me alive.

"A sinner. A traitor. A lover. The pain of it all is intoxicating."

My body shook one final time, and I felt my eyes becoming to heavy. So . . . Tired. Need a little sleep.

As my soul become overcome by the burden of the pain leaning down on it, I felt my body oozing out bits and bits of corrupted magic. Good night . . . Satan.
A strong gust of wind blew past, causing my to slightly lit my low hung head, up to face the sky, and that was when I heard his voice piercing into me, loud and clear,

"Yuna! . . . Yuna!!"
