Azure's POV

Sea Hawk, and I watched over the boat. I waded into the shallow water, and just sort of, stood there... I enjoyed the midnight sky shining down on me, it was beautiful here, even the moon seemed to have doubled in beauty.

"Why aren't you up there doing superhero stuff?" Sea Hawk asked, wading next to me, and I shrugged.

"I'd rather be out here, makes me feel peaceful." I said looking over at him.

"That's another gift of the sea. Not only does it bring Adventure! But... it just feels good." He said, shouting what seemed to be his favorite catchphrase.

I waded backwards and sat down in the sand. My eyes scanned the sky for sign of anything, the Aurora Borealis system was still inactive.

There was a flash of light as Glimmer appeared next to Sea Hawk who was on the boat.

"Where are you going?" Glimmer asked, and Sea Hawk yelped.

"I'd really appreciate it if you stopped doing that!" He wheezed.

"Are you leaving without us? Glimmer snapped, cocking her head.

"It's for the best. I'm only getting in your way, it's time for old Sea Hawk to be where he belongs, alone..." Glimmer looked down sadly.

"It wasn't always like this: where I'm from I had friends, a crew." He sighed ducking under some rigging.

"Every adventure more daring than the last." He chuckled.

"The fact that I kept setting my boats om fire was considered charming. But here, I can't even get anyone to take me seriously." He said resting his head against his fist.

"Yeah, I know a little about that, I can't get anyone to take me seriously ether." Sea Hawk looked at her eyes a little wide.

"You? But you're a princess." He said, and Glimmer sighed.

"Try being the daughter of an immortal Queen when your powers are sparkles." Glimmer said waving her hands, fuchsia light glittered around her fingers.

"Glitter-" Sea Hawk started.

"Glimmer." She corrected, but he was unfazed.

"-We've just met, but I can tell you are a brave and powerful soul." He said, and Glimmer blushed a little.

"Anyone who'd underestimate you, would live to sorely regret it." I could sense a twinge of pride flash around Glimmer.

"Thanks Sea Hawk. And you know what? You still have friends, and a crew. Reporting for duty, captain!" Glimmer grinned saluting.

The both looked to me, and I hoisted myself onto the boat, and saluted, felling ridiculous, and cold.

"At your service Sea Hawk." I winked, and he placed a hand under his chin.

"There should be a captain in there somewhere." I scoffed, and playfully flicked my arm at him, splaying him with water.

There was a surge of panic, as Bow shouted down towards us.

"It's the Horde!" My body went rigged, and I looked down at myself.

"So much for vacation." I muttered and grabbed my axe from its spot leaning on the rails.

A blast of plasma left a pulsing hole in the magical gate. Bow leapt down the rocks and drew his bow while Mermista vanished into the sea bellow.

"Azure!" Bow called, beckoning.

I ran up to him, and instinctively wrapped my arms around his shoulders. He fired the arrow, and I braced myself, but not well enough. We were pulled from off the ground, and through the air. A sick feeling pitted in my stomach, and I buried my face into the crook of Bow's neck. Feeling something soft on my back I saw that we were sliding down the black, and red sail of the Horde ship. Bow landed in a crouch, and I moved off him, readying my axe. Three Horde soldiers looked at us. There was a skinny kid, a girl, and a lizard guy.

Firing an arrow Bow pinned the skinny guy to the wall by his sleeve. The girl charged Bow, who ducked a swing, and fired an arrow. I dodged a swipe from the claws of the reptilian guy and hit him in the back with the broad side of my axe. He lashed again, and I deflected, his claws nicking my neck, and drawing blood. I snarled but made no move to kill him or fatally harm him. The boat hitched, and I was sent sprawling.

Using my axe to come to a stop, I heard the little guy screaming his head off running at Bow. I taunted the lizard man, and ducked, sending him flying smack into the other guy. With a jet of water, the two were sent into the ocean, dragging the girl with them. I saw Mermista in the sea, and I waved a thanks. Bow gasped, and I turned to see him being held off the ground by a woman who was hybrid like with scorpion attributes.

"Wow... you're big." Bow mumbled.  With a smirk, she pulled back, and flung Bow towards the rudder which would be instant death.

"See Ya." She growled.

"Bow!" I screamed and ran towards the edge.

I took my axe, and threw it, praying, hoping that It would do something. With a jerk the rudder stopped, but it would not hold for long.

I looked up to see Bow clinging to Sea Hawk who had swooped in.

"Azure!" Bow shouted, I turned, and slid away as a pincer came for me.

I snarled, showing pointed canines, and my pupils disappeared leaving a swirling blue mass in my eyes. Bow had nearly faded death, and that triggered something in me. I lunged, and wrapped my legs around her neck, using her height, and strength against her.

"This is so pointless!" She growled, before throwing herself backwards into the mast.

I yelped, and fell, my leg burning. I stood and dodged another blow. I saw Bow, and Mermista by Adora, Bow was frantically pointing towards me. I evaded more blows and saw a large stream of water forming a ladder. It stretched out toward me, and I cocked my head. Without thinking I grabbed on, and it miraculously held under my hold.

"This makes absolutely no sense!" I screamed as I was pulled away from the Horde ship at what felt like the speed of light.

I was soon on the rock with Adora, Mermista, and Bow. He pulled me up, and hugged me, watching the sea. With a furrowed brow I turned to see Sea Hawk's ship ablaze, and Glimmer teleported to us with Sea Hawk next to her. The ships collided and went down in a flaming mess.

There was a glow from behind us, and I turned to see the gate repairing itself, glowing a healthy blue, well if a sea gate can look healthy. They started cheering, and Bow hugged me tighter I hugged him back, and he almost went stiff, and pulled away rubbing the back of his neck, blushing hard, I looked down, and rubbed my arm.

"Well... Great save with the axe." He grunted.

"Thanks." I coughed.

"Yay, that was cool, I'm over it though." Mermista droned, and we snickered.

We walked down to the inside of Salinas and admired the gate.

"What do you know. You actually fixed it." Mermista said with a side glance at Adora.

"It's beautiful." She awed.

"I guess you're going to be needing a new ship. Ugh, I suppose you can have one of mine." Mermista said with an annoyed look at Sea Hawk who had gone very rigged we turned to see a beautiful ship, and the guard who was also a butler now.

He smashed a glass bottle on the side.

Sea Hawk gasped, and squealed, wide eyed.

"She's gorgeous." He awed.

"Don't set it on fire." Mermista warned.

"No promises. But princess if I might ask for one more favor?" Sea Hawk asked, sounding awfully noble for once.

"Ugh, you're always ruining it." Mermista groaned, as he took her hand, and knelt.

"You should think about joining Glimmer's Princess Alliance. She is a brave, and strong captain. With her at the helm, she will be sure to lead the Rebellion to victory." Glimmer grinned from ear to ear, proudly.

"Aww, Sea Hawk, you even got my name right." She said playfully elbowing him.

"Okay I'm in." Mermista said, and I tilted my head.

"Really?" Glimmer gushed happily, eyes glinting in the setting sunlight.

"Yeah, The Horde almost destroyed my home, I want to help fight them... Plus, your friend over there can turn into an Eight-foot tall lady with a sword, and I want her on my side." Mermista said, back to what I assumed was her usual self.

Everyone cheered, and Glimmer threw her arms around Mermista.

"Wow, okay, calm down." She said, dully.

"Your wont regret this I promise." Glimmer said, and I looked away, feeling sorry for myself, whatever reason it was not necessary, and I felt strange for thinking it.

Bow, and Sea Hawk burst into song, and Bow grabbed my arm, pulling me in, and they both flared their arms finishing this little adventure with a flourish...
