The Dragon's Daughter Three

Azure's POV

"Welcome aboard The Dragons Daughter Three!" Sea Hawk shouted as we boarded a large ship. Adora scoffed.

"What happened to the Dragon Daughters One, and Two?" She asked as we started out at sea.

I kept to the sides watching out over the big blue. I was full of adrenaline and did not even mind the fact that I was not meant for the sea.

"Tragically they went down in flames." Sea Hawk said, clutching his chest. Bow's eyes widened.

"How did that happen?" He awed, and I cocked my head, wanting to know the same. Pirates? Mutiny?

"I set them on fire." Sea Hawk announced plainly as he ran to the front of the ship.

"Adventure!" He shouted.

I bet Petra would have loved this guy.

"Are you sure about this guy?" Adora asked skeptically.

"He just needs to get us there." Glimmer sighed, and I smiled innocently.

"Then I can eat him."

Bow snickered.

"Of course, you'll be expected to earn your keep by helping out around the ship." He said smoothly.

"Ooh, slick." I said, and Adora nodded.

"Never fear, I'll teach you everything you need to know. In shanty form!" I rolled my eyes as he started singing.

"Oh! - What are you doing?" He stopped, and knelt next to Bow, who looked up.

"Oh, I noticed your main sail wasn't secured, so I fixed it." Bow explained. Sea Hawk examined the knots.

"Tying proper knots is a task that takes years to master. You did these just now?" He asked and Bow grinned.

"Yes!" his eyes were wide with excitement. So cute... huh, what now?...

"Excellent work, even if it is just beginners' luck." Sea Hawk added and stretched over to Glimmer.

"We need to set a lookout. Come on Sparkle we'll sing a shanty duet and I'll show you how to climb the ratlines. Oh! -" He sang again, sitting way to close to her, nearly knocking her off her seat.

With an annoyed look she teleported away, and stood at the top of the mast, or whatever it was.

"How did she- "He stared when Adora walked over.

"I unfurled the jib." She told him, and he looked up wide eyed.

"By yourself? Not even a sailor as experienced as me could do that." He admitted.

"Oh, so what you're saying is that I'm better at this than you are?" She smirked.

"And the Name is Glimmer." Glimmer informed him teleporting down for a moment.

"Well you are a strangely overqualified crew." Sea Hawk said and Stood.

"What do you even need old Sea Hawk for?" He asked sounding a little sad.

"Your map." Glimmer said flatly.

Sea Hawk reached into his shirt, once again, pulled out a map, and handed it to Glimmer I rolled my eyes, and opened my bag.

"Can we focus on our super important mission here? More sailing, less shanty-ing." Glimmer commanded.

Sea Hawk stuck out his bottom lip.

"Of course, Shimmer! A top-secret message from the queen, I'll get you there straight away." Sea Hawk shouted up to Glimmer.

"I'm as excited to see my dearest Mermista as I know she is to see me." He said wistfully.

"My name is Glimmer!" she shouted down.

Sea Hawk burst into shanty again. "Ooh! -"

...After the rather, -ahem- strange song, and display that could not even be described as dancing. Bow has somehow pulled out a violin, and played it like a pro.

"Does he play violin?" I asked Glimmer, and she shook her head, looking disturbed...

In a half an hour Glimmer called down to us.

"Something's wrong. According to this map we're way off course!" She called down.

I sighed seeing the others arm wrestling. Glimmer teleported down to them and broke it up.

"No. Mo more arm wrestling. I spotted a ship graveyard in the distance, and we are heading straight towards it. Is anyone worried about this" She said pointing.

A dark shape moved through the water bellow, and I grabbed my axe from my holster. The ship rocked as something hit us.

"What was that?" Glimmer gasped. "Aha! We're here!" Sea Hawk announced.

With a second bump we were sent flying and sliding all over the ship. Peaking over the edge Glimmer gasped, and then we rocked again. This time I was ready and used my axe to balance myself. Sea Hawk hoisted a leg onto the railing.

"The Serpent of the Sea, I knew he'd be lurking in these waters." He said, and I narrowed my eyes.

"Wait, your brought us here on purpose!?" I snapped.

We were jostled again, and I pushed against Bow, who I was nearest to, and kept him up. What looked like a large leech was splashing about around us.

"See, I don't just provide transport, but a tale to tell your friends." Sea Hawk explained.

"Come on crew, we're in for a harrowing adventure!" He said looping an arm around Bow's neck and squeezed.

The leech reeled up in front of us and roared. Adora shouted her little chant, and there was a flash of light. As She-Ra, Adora ran past us shouting.

"Watch this!" She leapt out of the boat, and landed on the leech's face, braking off one of his teeth.

With a hiss he sunk into the water, taking Adora with him.

"Is that a normal thing she does?" Sea Hawk asked, and I nodded.

"Yeah, it takes some getting used to." Bow confirmed.

Adora popped out of the water, sword in the air.

"Got it. Wait No!" She yelped going under again.

"So, let me get this straight. You sailed us into a giant Sea Serpent so you could, what? Show off?" Glimmer asked angrily.

"That was the plan before your tall friend stole my thunder!" Sea Hawk complained.

"Unbelievable! We're trying to save Etheria, and all you care about is How much we're impressed with you? I need this mission to go right, or my mom will never give me another!" Glimmer groaned gripping her hair and planting her face on the wooden railing.

She got back up and grunted.

"Just get us to Salineas, you've wasted enough of our time." Glimmer snarled.

"Okay, I got it now, we're all good!" Adora called popping up, now only regular Adora. She gave us a thumbs up.

Glimmer just snapped. "Adora, get in the boat!"
