Catra's Promotion
3rd POV
Hordak was furious when his soldiers had failed once again to get even close to the wolves who had been at Thaymor when they took seize of it.
There were two of them, a black, and brown wolf with amber eyes. She had been a savage warrior in the battle, but what had captured his attention was the blue-eyed wolf. She was still there, she was human most of the fight, favoring her right foot, it must have been broken, or sprained. Hordak rewound the tapes as his armor was fixed onto his body.
She shifted, and he paused the frame. Her legs where extended and bent in odd angles. She had hackles, and her muzzle had razor sharp fangs.
The door to the sanctum opened, and he heard Shadow Weaver dragging someone towards him.
"Lord Hordak." Shadow Weaver addressed.
Hordak turned to face the two, his blood red eyes glowing in the dark. Catra stood trembling before Shadow Weaver threw her to the ground.
"Kneel! Lord Hordak, I gave her the charge of a simple mission: To return Force Captain Adora to the Fright Zone. Instead our forces suffered a humiliating defeat."
Hordak turned to fully face them, his shadow striking fear into Catra's very soul.
"Then you mean to tell me, you're still down a Force Captain?" He snarled.
"Yes, my Lord, but rest assured, nothing will stop us from finding Adora, and bringing her back." Shadow Weaver said confidently, and Hordak frowned.
"No, you will elect another Force Captain, and resume normal operations." He ordered.
"But my Lord, Adora was the only viable candidate." Shadow Weaver exclaimed.
Angry with her doubting his orders, he stepped closer.
"You have Catra. Was she not your ward as well?" He asked.
"Catra has been nothing but a disappointment to me." She snapped.
"If you have failed to condition her properly, you have no one but yourself to blame." He snarled.
"But my Lord-" Shadow Weaver pleaded, he narrowed his eyes grabbing a badge from one of the tables beside him.
"Enough... I have made my decision. Rise Force Captain Catra." He droned, and walked up to Catra, his armor clanking.
Catra stood, and Hordak opened his clawed hand, revealing a shiny badge with the Horde Symbol printed on it. Catra took it from his hand and examined it. Hordak huffed as she looked up at him skeptically, and smirked...
