Casualty

Azure's POV

I shoved the guard pulling at me and snarled deep in my throat. "Take me to Glimmer."

I commanded, and the guard scoffed under the mask.

"On who's authority?" I wrinkled my nose in distaste, trying all the while to shift.

"Mine." I hissed, and the second guard kicked me in the shins.

"What are you doing, idiot?" The first one asked.

"Trying to earn some respect from this thing?" The other said, as if it was completely oblivious.

"Hordak is going to inspect her. Careful with the goods."

I snarled at being called 'goods' like I was a wheel of cheese, or a computer.

"Let's just focus and get her back to Hordak. Shadow-Weaver would kill us if we brought her into the Garnet chamber." They finalized and walked me back into the sanctum.

Hordak was waiting at a table, with metal clasps, and a few other pieces of equipment.

"It's time... Princess."

Fear numbed my senses, but I took tentative steps forward, and dressed privately in scrubs, and I could keep my bra on. I sat on the table, taking a quick breather before I laid down, and allowed Hordak to handle the clasps.

I took a shuddering breath in and targeted his blood red eyes.

"I-Is it going to hurt?" I managed out, and Hordak met my gaze.

"I can't risk spoiling my only specimen, I'm simply sedating you." Hordak said and snapped his fingers.

A woman dressed in scrubs entered, and took car of finding a nice vain, having little water. She wrapped my arm in a warm blanket, which felt oddly comforting, and after a few minutes she tightened a band of rubber just above my elbow and prodded my arm.

"I think there's still some blood back in my old cell, we could use that instead." I mumbled as a lame attempt to dismiss my fear.

The medic smiled lightly before she cleaned an area on the skin inside my elbow, before inserting a needle into my vein. I wrinkled my nose at the metallic smell of blood and looked away. She took the vials and handed them to Hordak. I felt a fuzz rolling over my body, so much blood... not enough sugar in my body to withstand the blood draw.

My head lolled to the side, and I tried stay awake, but the strange taste in my mouth, and the cold wash in my arm signaled my brain that the drug had entered my system.

I stared up at the light above me, watching its pulsing glow, and I tried to focus on that light, and I slipped off, the fuzz swarming in my head, and my body went numb...

"Azure? ...Azure?" I tried to open my eyes as I felt the sting in my stomach.

My head lolled, and I looked around. Grey walls, a lonely light bulb hanging from the ceiling precariously.

"Azure!

My vision focused, and I met the golden eyes of Noah.

"Noah..." I croaked.

"Faust, Petra!" He called.

I felt the vibrations of footsteps, and two more pairs of the golden eyes appeared.

"Azure... I'll take her, we need to find the others." Faust said, and picked me up.

My body screamed in protest, but I held onto him, trying desperately to stay awake. I felt every bit of the movement, I felt Faust caring me down the hall.

"Perfuma." Noah called distantly.

"Oh Azure!" I heard the melodious voice of Perfuma pipe up.

"Okay, I found Bow's cell, but I can't find Glimmer anywhere. They must be holding her somewhere else; this isn't good." Adora was saying, and I saw the light of a computer screen.

"The Garnet, Shadow-Weaver." I croaked out, remembering conversation I had heard.

There was a cranking sound, and I lifted my head, seeing a bot step out from a doorway. I smelt the oil stains, and knee that it had Entrapta.

"What are we going to do?" Perfuma squeaked.

"I'm not going back in the sewers." Mermista groaned.

There was a moment of intensity before, a head with bouncing lilac hair popped into view.

"It's okay. This is my new friend, Emily. I reprogrammed her." Entrapta said, and I made a small waving gesture.

"Hi Emily." Entrapta lifted a surprised Sea Hawk with her hair and placed him in Mermista's arms.

"Where have you been?" Perfuma asked with unusual intensity to her voice.

"Where have you been?" Entrapta asked, which made Petra snicker.

"It doesn't matter, we're all together, lets finish this." Adora said, and we marched on.

Entrapta walked next to me, and Emily bleeped happily.

"Oh, hi Azure! What happened?" She asked and looked at my gauze wrapped stomach. I did not know myself.

"I'm not quite sure. I think they were trying to see how I work." I said, and she patted my arm with her gloved hand.

Perfuma tied up a few guards, and Noah knocked out one with a punch to the face, while Petra did a swift roundhouse. We walked into a hub, and the familiar green glow from the cells illuminated everything.

Entrapta squealed quietly as she stared down at the control board.

"Bow is in section B, level 20. We will get him out first, then get Glimmer from the Black Garnet chamber. Entrapta, can you get us up there?" Adora asked.

"Yes, I can, I mean maybe. I don't know, but I'm still gonna try." Entrapta informed us. She typed on the keyboard, and a walkway ejected.

"This is gonna be so fun!" She exclaimed joyfully. She moved the bridge a few times, to get the hang of it.

"Okay, Sea Hawk, Noah, and Perfuma, you're with me." Adora said, pointing to each of them in turn.

"I'll stay with this one, and make sure she doesn't try to befriend any more bots." Mermista said, and Faust lifted me a little.

"Case, and point." I mumbled and gestured to myself.

"To the Rescue!" Sea Hawk shouted. I took Petra's hand, and she gave me a gentle hug.

"Be safe." She nodded, and said a goodbye to Noah, kissing his lips quickly before she left.

They walked out onto the bridge and gave Entrapta a thumbs up. She pressed a button, and they shot up. Entrapta stopped the bridge too soon, and a Horde solider jumped up to them.

"Whoops that's not right." Entrapta said.

"Entrapta!" Petra shouted down, her voice loud, and commanding.

Entrapta whined nervously and clicked a few more buttons. The platform went whooshing higher, and I lost sight of them. Faust set me down, and I braced myself against the console.

There was a shattering of glass, and the reptilian figure landed in a crouch, snarling. Faust snarled ferociously and leapt forward. Nails extending and lashed out. Faust looked feral, eyes blazing. Noah Pulled Entrapta out the way before they could crash into them.

Mermista burst the water pipes and sent a jet of water at the reptile. Faust was down, protecting me, and Entrapta used her hair, to pull his feet out from under him, and the lizard went flying out the window.

"Good team Geek princess." Mermista said, then hip bumped Noah.

The platform lowered gracefully, and an Alarm flashed overhead. Bow was with them, and I exclaimed, as he rushed over to me, and pulled me into a hug.

"Azure." He whispered into my hair.

"We need to go." Faust said, and took me in his arms.

We moved quickly, running through the halls. There was a large group of Horde soldiers coming around the corner any minuet, and we turned down a wide hall instead. We reached a large set of doors locked by a keypad.

"Can you get it open?" Adora asked as Entrapta started to tinker with the machine.

"I just need a little more time!" Entrapta said.

I felt so useless, and desperate to help.

"We'll buy you some time." Noah said, and stepped back, shifting with a loud crunch of bones.

Faust gingerly passed me off to Bow, who held me tight. Faust, and Petra joined Noah, and they created a barricade.

Entrapta giggled joyously.

"The vent systems lead to where you can steel a skiff. Each chamber needs to be sealed and purged before you can move on." Adora explained, and we fell back though the open doors, I limped beside Bow, and Sea Hawk.

"The doors will stay open a few seconds, so keep up the pace." Adora added and started flicking her fingers across a keypad.

"Adora what are you doing?" Bow stopped and asked.

Sea Hawk supported me, and I kept my eyes on Bow as we moved.

"Don't worry about me. I am going to buy you some time and find Glimmer. I'll meet you there, okay?" Adora said, looking back over her shoulder.

The full reality of the situation dawned on me, and I began to hyperventilate.

"Adora!" Bow lunged for her, but she slammed her fist on the keypad, and the door shut.

"Adora!" The green light flashed above us, and I extended a hand to Bow.

He looked again at the door angrily, and took my hand, just as the door sealed, and purged itself. We kept moving, and I could feel the space grow hotter with every purge. Adora was not safe, she was alone, and I would not know what to do if she... if something happened.

"We need to go back for Glimmer, and Adora." Bow said, and Noah grumbled objectively.

I felt blood soaking my bandages, and I felt more pain with every dragging step.

"We need to do what Adora said, they'll make it out, and we'll be ready with the skiff. No princess will be left behind." Perfuma assured him.

The last door shuddered open, and Sea Hawk grinned.

"We made it. This way to the vehicle bay!" He said pointing.

We rushed off, but I felt Entrapta jerk from behind me.

"Wait, Emily!" She exclaimed, I looked back to see the bot stuck in the hall.

"Entrapta! No!" Perfuma cried.

I threw myself towards the door but before I could reach it, the metal doors clammed shut, and the hall purged. Hot green flames roaring for only a second before a second door shut over it.

I could not move; I was in shock. I felt like I had woken up in that cell again. I pulled at the door, it was white hot, and bit my fingers. Entrapta. Entrapta! Entrapta was in there! I felt a hand on my shoulder. I could hear nothing but my own heart thundering in my chest. Faust shifted back and pulled me up. I could not struggle; I could not even move.

We moved as if in slow motion, into the bay full of skiffs. We boarded the first one we reached, and I lay helplessly not a tear touched my cheek, even though with all my might, I wanted them to come. I felt the skiff hover to life, and we jerked forward, Petra and Noah were human again, and Faust was driving. I could hear only my breathing until the cold air shook me to life.

"There they are!" Bow pointed, and I stared out at Adora, She-Ra again, and Glimmer.

They were running towards us, and Noah, sat at the side with Petra, and as we reached them, we turned, and hauled them up without breaking the speed.

Glimmer grinned, and threw her arms around Bow, and smiled brightly back at me. I could only stare through her.

"Bow." She whispered.

"Glimmer" Bow sighed. Adora's brows furrowed as she internally did a head count.

"Wait, where's Entrapta?" She asked, and I choked on a whimper.

"Entrapta didn't make it." Bow said slowly, and sadly.

"What do you mean?" Adora asked, though deep down I think she knew.

"She's Gone." Mermista said hardly, though tears brimmed in her eyes.

"We have to go back for her!" Adora protested.

"No, she's- She's really gone." Bow said, barely above a whisper.

Adora swerved in shock, and fell hopelessly to her knees, where she transformed back, eyes full of tears...
