Weiss: The Vytal Festival! Oh this is absolutely wonderful!

Ruby: I don't think I ever seen you smile this much, Weiss.

Jin: Yeah you must be really excited about it.

Weiss: Of course I am Jin! How could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances! Parades! A tournament! Oh, the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking!

Yang: (Sigh) You really know how to take good thing and make it sound boring.

Weiss: Quiet you 

Yang: Remind me again why're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?

Y/N: For real. This crap is just a waste of time.

Ruby:(pinching her nose) Ugh And they smell fish.

Weiss: I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today. And, as a representative of a Beacon, I feel as though  it is  my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom! 

Yu: Well that's nice.

Blake: She wants to spy on them so she can have the upper hand in the tournament.

Yu: Oh

Weiss: Ah! You can't prove that!

Ruby: Whoa

Y/n and Ruby noticed a dust shop down the street. The dust shop had a shattered window and was wrapped in police tape and there were two detectives. The group walked over to the dust shop to ask what happened.

Ruby: What happened here?

Detective 1: Robbery, second dust shop to be hit this week.

Yang: That terrible 

Detective 2: They left all the money again.

Ruby: Huh

Detective 1: Yeah, just don't make a lick of sense. Who need that much dust?

Detective 2: I don't know an army?

Detective 1: You thinking the White Fang?

Detective 2: Yeah, I'm thinking we don't get paid enough.

Weiss Hmph. The White Fang

Yu: Who are the White Fang?

Hyde: Yeah I never heard of them.

Weiss: They are an awful bunch of degenerates!

Blake: What's your problem?

Weiss: My problem, I simply don't care for the criminally insane.

Blake: The White Fang is hardly a bunch of psychopaths. They're a collection of misguided Faunus.

'Weiss: Misguided? They want to wipe humanity off the face of the planet!

Y/N: What!?

Team BLES looked at Blake with shock.

Blake: So then they're very misguided. Either way, it doesn't explain why they would rob a dust shop in the middle downtown Vale!

Jin: That's true. There's no evidence that says the White Fang are responsible for this robbery. 

Ruby: Blake got a point. Besides, the police never caught that Torchwick guy I ran into a few months ago. Maybe it was him.

Weiss: That still doesn't change the fact that the White Fang are a bunch of scum. Those Faunus only know how to lie, cheat, and steal.

Yu: Weiss that's not true. Faunus aren't like that.

???:Hey stop that Faunus!

Suddenly the group saw a blonde monkey Faunus running from ship guard. He jumped up on the rail of the boat. 

Faunus: Thanks for the ride, guys! *laughing*

Yu: (to Weiss)Well, at least not all of them.

The monkey Faunus jumped of the boat. 

Sailor guy: You no good stowaway

The Faunus hung from a street lamp by his tail while peeling a banana.

Faunus: Hey! A no good stowaway would have been caught! I'm a great stowaway!

Detective: Hey! Get down from there this instant!

The monkey faunus threw the banana peel at the detectives's face. The faunus then swung up on the street lamp laughing. He then jump off the street lamp and landed with a roll. The faunus started ran away from the detective. The faunus ran passed Team RWBY and Team BLES and Y/N saw him smile and wink at Blake. The faunus ran around the corner with the detectives chasing him.

Jin: (amazed)Woah He's skills are impressive .

Yu: (nodding) Yeah

Yang: Well, Weiss, you wanted to see competition, and there it goes.

Weiss:(holding up her finger) Quick! We have to observe him!

Team RWBY and Team BLES ran after the faunus and detectives. Weiss went around the corner and suddenly she bumped into someone and they both fell to the ground. The rest of the group turned around the corner and looked at Weiss lying on a person. The monkey faunus jumped up on top of the building to escape the detectives.

Weiss: No! He got away!

Yang: Umm... Weiss (Pointing under Weiss)

Jin: You might want to get up.

Weiss looked under her to see a red haired girl with a pink bow and green dress smiling at her.

Weiss: AAAH!

Weiss jumped off the red haired girl.

Red head girl: Salutations!

Ruby: Um...Hello?

Hyde: Are you okay?

Red head girl: I'm wonderful! Thank you for asking.

The group looked at each other with confused looks.

Y/n: So are you gonna get up or what?

Red head girl: yes

The red head girl flip to her feet. The group then took a step back.

Penny: My name is Penny! It's a pleasure to meet you!

Ruby: Hi Penny. I'm Ruby

Weiss: I'm Weiss

Blake: Blake

Yang: I'm Yang

Yu: Hi I'm Yu

Hyde: Hyde

Jin: I'm Jin 

Y/n: Uh Are you sure you didn't hit your head?

Jin lightly hit Y/N arm.

Y/n: I mean I'm Y/n.

Penny: It's a pleasure to me you.

Weiss: You already said that.

Pause 

Penny: So I did!

Y/n looked at Penny with a confused face. 

Weiss: Well, sorry for running into you.

Ruby: Take care, friend.

Y/n: Yeah see ya.

The group then turned and left

Yu: Did everyone else think that girl seem a little strange?

Yang: Yeah she was weird

Weiss: Now, where did that Faunus riff-raff off to?

Suddenly Penny appeared in front of the group slightly surprising them.

Penny: What did you call me?

Weiss was looking behind us then to Penny really fast confused and Jin looked at Penny with widened eyes surprised how fast she is.

Yang: Oh I'm really sorry, I definitely didn't think you heard me!

Penny: No, not you (She walked over to Ruby and Y/N) You

Ruby: Me? I-I don't know. I, what I, um, uh

Penny: You called me friend. Am I really your friend?

Ruby: Ummm

Ruby looks over Penny's shoulder to see team RWBY silently trying to tell her to say no.

Ruby: Y-Yeah, sure! Why not?

Team RWBY look in shock and fell to the ground 

Penny then turned to Y/N

Penny: Am I your friend too.

Y/N: Huh?

Y/N take a few seconds to think about what he was gonna say. Y/N saw his team over Penny's shoulder silently trying to tell him to say no. Y/N wanted to say no but he looked in the red head girl's green eyes and he thought back to what Jin said.

Flashback

Jin: The more friends we have the more people we have help our mission

Back to the present 

Y/N then give the red head girl his answer

Y/N:(light sigh) Sure whatever. We're friends

Team BLES look in shock and fell to the ground next Team RWBY

Penny: Sen-sational! We can play video games, and have sleepovers, and watch movies together!

Ruby: (groaning and leaning over  to Y/N) Oh, is this what it was like when you met me?

Y/N: Yeah a little

Team RWBY and Team BLES got up of the ground.

Yang: So...what are you doing in Vale?

Penny: I'm here to fight in the tournament?

Y/N was little shocked to hear that she's gonna be in the tournament.

Y/N: Can you even fight?

Penny: (saluting) I'm combat ready!

Hyde: Didn't you were a fighter 

Weiss: Forgive me but you hardly look the part 

Y/N: Says the girl wearing a dress

Weiss: It's a combat skirt!

Ruby zoomed next to Weiss's side 

Ruby: Yeah

Weiss hold out her hand and give Ruby a low five.

Weiss: Wait a minute

Weiss grabbed Penny's shoulder

Weiss: If you here for the  tournament, does that mean you know that monkey tailed...rapscallion?

Penny: The who?

Weiss then showed Penny a terrible drawing of the monkey faunus.

Weiss: The filthy Faunus from the boat!

Hyde: You really need to work on your art.

Weiss: (glaring at Hyde) Quiet you!

Blake: Why do you keep saying that!?

Weiss: Huh?

Blake: Stop calling him a rapscallion! Stop calling him a degenerate! He's a person!

Weiss: Oh I'm sorry.

Weiss then pointed at object around them

Weiss: Would you like me to stop referring the trash can as a trash can? Or this lamppost as a lamppost?

Blake: Stop it!

Weiss: Stop what?! He clearly broke law. Give him time; he'll probably join up with those other Faunus in the White Fang!

Blake (Growling) You ignorant little brat!

Blake walked away angrily.

Weiss: How dare you talk to me like that! I am your teammate!

Weiss walked after Blake

Blake: You are a judgmental little girl!

Weiss: What in the world makes you say that?

Blake: The mere fact that you would sort that Faunus boy with a terrorist group solely based based on his species makes you just as much of a scoundrel as you believe him to be!

Yang: Um, I think we should probably go

Y/N: Yeah this fight is getting on my nerves. Let get out of here.

Penny: Where are we going?
