In the Emerald, everyone were gathered at the abandon temple. They we're also surrounded by a nevermore and deathstalker. Ruby tried to take on the deathstalker but she was easily counter  by the grimm. Then the nevermore shot it's feathers out and pinned Ruby cape to the ground while the scorpion came closer. Luckily Weiss dashed to her a use her ice to protect her by trapping the scorpion's tail in a wall of ice. The nevermore soar back around and got ready for a another attack.

Jaune: Guys that thing's circling back. What are we gonna do?

Weiss: Look there's no point in dillydallying our objective is right in front of us.

Ruby: She's right. Our mission is to grab an artifact and get back to the cliff. There's no point in fighting these things.

Normally Y/N would hate the thought of running from a fight but deep down he knew it was a smart choice. So Y/N reluctantly agree to Ruby's plan.

Y/N:(groans) Fine. I guess trying fight these things would be a real pain in the ass. Let's this done already.

Yu: Yeah but let's grab one of those chess pieces first then we can get out of here.

Ruby, Y/N, and Jaune went to the temple to grab an artifact. Ruby grabbed a knight chess piece, Y/N grab a king chess piece, and Jaune grabbed a rook chess piece. Meanwhile the deathstalker was slowly breaking free of the ice.

Hyde: Time to go!

Ruby: Right, let's go 

Ruby ran and the others followed after her. Y/N stood still and watched ruby with a stern face for a few seconds. At first Y/N thought that she some annoying little girl but right now she acting like a real huntress. Y/N felt this weird sensation. It felt a connection toward her.

Jin: Come on brother!

Y/N: (quickly snapping back to reality) Oh yeah coming.

Y/N then ran and following the others. They ran to an ancient structure on a cliffside. The two grimm also caught up to them. They ran across an old stone bridge but suddenly the nevermore fly through the bridge breaking it in half and separating the group. Y/N, Jin, Yu, Hyde, Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang were on side fighting nevermore while Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, and Nora were the on the other side fighting the deathstalker. Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang stood of a tower and rapidly shot the grimm while Y/N, Jin, Yu, and Hyde were one floor above them.

Yu: (unsheathing his katana)So what's the plan?

Y/N: (with a grin on his face while unsheathing bloodscythe) It's obvious. We cut straight through take that thing down.

Jin: (unsheathes Yukianesa) I guess that's our only choice.

Hyde: (summons the Insulator from his hand) Well let's cut this bird's wings.

Y/N, Jin, Yu: Right!

Y/N attacked first. Y/N thrusts the edge of his sword upwards in an uppercutting spiral turn via reverse grip slashing the grimm in the beak and land back on the tower.

Next Jin fires an ice sword at the nevermore's chest causing some ice to form on it.

Then Blake jumped and try to cut the grimm with her gambol shroud but it didn't work. Yang jumped and tried to punch it but the grimm caught her in it's beak. Yang used one arm to hold it's beak open and using her free arm to shoot it with her gauntlets. Yu summoned Izanagi and launched a lighting bolt shocking the grimm and causing it to release Yang. Blake used gambol shroud as a grapple to catch Yang and carry her back to the group.

Blake: It's tougher then it looks.

Yang: (reloading her gauntlets)Then let's hit it with everything we got.

Yu: Yeah but we can't take it down by ourselves. We need to fight as a team.

Ruby: Yu's right we need to work together. 

Y/N: (Sigh) I'm not good at this whole team thing but fine. 

Ruby: Okay let do this guys!

Blake and yang rapidly shot at the nevermore with their weapons, Hyde jumped and sent 3 sword slash to the grimm beak, and Yu used Izanagi to shot a massive stream of lighting a the grimm. Then Weiss used ice dust in her myrtenaster to create a large ice glacier and trapped the nevermore's tail. Then Jin used his semblance to form an arrow of ice and shoots it upward at the grimm.

 The ice arrows hit both of the grimm's wing freezing them instantly in ice. The grimm was complete frozen in the air leaving only it's head exposed. Lastly Ruby and Y/N ran over and jumped next to Weiss and Jin. Weiss used her semblance to create two black glyphs for Ruby and Y/N to hold in place while aiming them at the nevermore.

Ruby:(To Y/N) You ready.

Y/N: (smirking to Ruby) Born ready.

Ruby nodded and readied her crescent rose to attack and Y/n readied his bloodscythe.

Ruby: Weiss now!

Weiss nodded and her black glyphs disappeared launching Rwby and Y/N at the nevermore's head. While in mid air Y/N yelled "bloodscythe!"and he turned his bloodscythe from it's sword form into it's scythe form.

Then Ruby and Y/N swung both their scythe at the grimm's head cutting it clean off it's frozen body turning it to black smoke. Ruby and Y/N landed next to each other while the grimm disappeared. 

Ruby: (smiling at Y/N) Woah Y/N that was so cool! And your weapon is so amazing too!

Y/N: (smirking at Ruby) Heh your not bad yourself. Gotta admit your scythe and speed are pretty badass, I'm impressed.

Ruby: (smiling) Really thanks.

 Ruby and Y/N went meet up the others. Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, and Nora had already killed the deathstalker. The group got back together and they all had their artifact they got from the temple. Finally they all made their way back to the cliffside. They've completed their initiation.

Timeskip

After the initiation all the students gathered at beacon for Professor Ozpin to announce their teams. First was Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, and Nora as team JNPR. Next was Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang as team RWBY. And now Ozpin called Y/N, Jin, Yu, and Hyde to the stage. As they went up to the stage and stood beside each other the giant screen in of the stage showed their pictures.

Ozpin: Y/N the Bloodedge, Jin Kiske, Yu Narukami, Hyde Kido. The four of you retrieved the white king pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team BLES. Led by... Y/N the Bloodedge.

Y/N had a little bit of shock on his face to hear that he was made team leader. The crowd then applauded them.

Jin: Great work brother!

Jin raised hand to Y/N for a high five which Y/N accepted with a smirk and Yu and Hyde looked at Y/N with a smile.

After the ceremony, Team BLES met up with Team RWBY and Team JNPR.

Ruby: Great job on making team leader Y/N!

Y/N: (smirking) You too.

Jaune: We actually did it.

Pyrrha: All because fought as a team.

 Nora: Yeah!

Blake: It took all of hard work but it was worth it.

Yang: Yeah we all make a pretty awesome time!

Weiss: I suppose you're right.

Yu: I look forward to working with all of you.

Hyde: Yeah same here

Jin: Hey guy let's take a group picture so we can remember this.

Y/N:(with a stern look) No thanks.

Ruby: Come on it'll be fun .

Weiss: As long as you get my good side.

Team Rwby, team JNPR, Jin, Yu, and Hyde gathered around Y/N for their group picture. Jin took out his scroll and aimed it at both him and everyone else.  Everyone was smiling at Jin's except Y/N who look at the scroll with an annoyed face.

Y/N: (sigh)

Y/N reluctantly put on a small smile for the camera.

Then Jin press the button on his scroll and took the picture. After taking the group picture, Jin was showing everyone the picture on his scroll while Y/N stood a few inch from them look a the group with a small smirk. Y/N felt a calm and relaxing sensation something he hadn't feel in a while every since his parents died. Y/N thought that maybe Jin was right. Being on a team and making new friends is not all bad.
