Joyous Liberty or in short Liberty, alike his friends he was created from Project Ascendant. But being a Generic Cruiser for ISAF meant that he was easily purchased from military deals. He was bought for a private military navy, but in a twist of events the private military was the Privateers. For 6 years he served the Privateers, no cause to fight for other than to just take orders and doing it making him sick that it made him defect to ISAF, he wasn't talkative either. When he was in Azur Lane he didn't change, but the shipgirls there will try to change this purposeless Ascender.

He cannot tell if he was the second, third, or even whatever number of ship he was built in his class.
