100 Nautical Miles away from Pearl.
12:40 hours.

A battle rages on the ocean's surface, Azur Lane against Sirens, Commander Ria Harling commands the Azur Lane fleet in the heat of battle.

Ria: Kearsarge! How long can we last if we continue this?!

A Siren mass produced ship shoot it's cannon, the shot barely missed the command ship the Commander was on.

Kearsarge: Evaluating... Probability of success is 45 percent and declining.

Ria: We'd be wiped out at this rate... Enterprise!

Enterprise: What is it Commander?! 

Ria: Tell everyone to withdraw! We'd be killed if we continue!

Helena: Commander! S-Something- No! Multiple object is appearing on my radar!

Ria: More Sirens?!

Helena: N-No! They're airborne! And these things are huge!

The water around the sea starts to quake.

Bremerton: W-Wh-Why is the sea shaking?!

Everyone is looking at every direction, trying to find the source of the shaking.

Until they realize it wasn't from the surface.

But from above. A large shadow loom's over them.

Enterprise: What the-

They looked above to see large ships flying above them, clad in steel gray and a navy blue armor.

Ria: F-Flying ships?!

The mass produced Siren ships raised their weapons and began attacking the flying ships. Only for their attacks to be futile as their armor proved resilient.

Helena: The Sirens barely made a dent...

The flying ships went into an attack formation as they pitched their bows downward to face the Sirens.

Moments later the ships start to unleash a flurry of cannon fire and missile barrages, destroying the sirens in a fell swoop of their barrages, when it came to the carrier ship. The flying ship with a navy blue color scheme and a smaller shiny silver colored ship advanced forward slightly.

Ria: K-Kearsarge, can you determine what those two are doing?

Kearsarge: Unknown... Though I am detecting an energy build up.

Moments later in an eyeblink, lances of light strikes the carrier from two angles. As the lances disappear, the Siren carrier explodes.

EU shipgirl 1: Holy crap! What were those?!

Ria could only look in amazement, these ships were on a whole new level of power. She looks up at them, they might be their salvation, a hope to push back and defeat the Sirens.

But a sudden bright flash of light blinds everyone.

Bremerton: Gahh! Bright!

Everyone covered their eyes, and as they open them, the flying ships were gone.

Enterprise: Where did they go?!

Helena: T-There's four flying dots on my radar!

EU shipgirl 2 : T-There's no way ships those large just vanish!

Kearsarge: Commander...

Ria: What is it?

Kearsarge points her finger at something, Ria follows where she was pointing and what Ria saw made her gasp and surprised.

Four people, clad in futuristic riggings hovered merely some feet away from them.

Bremerton: N-No way! Shipboys?!

Their attire were of military origins, sharp and well dressed, their cape's fluttered in the wind giving them an intimidating aura. They had witnessed how easy it was for them to destroy a whole fleet of sirens.

Enterprise: Commander, your orders?

Ria: H-Hold, Enterprise, they're not showing any hostile intent yet...

The four men looked at one another and nodded, they descend downward and hovers above the water and approaches the Eagle Union fleet. The shipgirls aimed their riggings at them, one of the men raised their hand defensively.

???: Please, we come in peace. We do not intend to harm you in any way.

He assured them, his voice calm and collected, and said with a civilized tone.

Ria: W-Who are you?

Excelsior: I am FNS Excelsior, I hail from the Interstellar Space Alliance Federation or simply ISAF.

(FNS = Federation Navy Ship.)

There were now more questions floating in the Commanders head. Interstellar? Federation? Space? she wanted some answers from him.

Ria: Firstly, can I ask you something Excelsior?

Excelsior: I accept, what is your question?

Ria: A-Are you a shipboy?

Excelsior: Shipboy? No, I'm an Ascender, I'm a warship given a body and soul alike humans do. My comrades are the same as me.

Ria: And who are they?

Excelsior: The navy blue one is Constantinople, shiny silver is Stormcutter, and the shady grey is Joyous Liberty or just call him Liberty.

Stormcutter went up.

Stormcutter: Our arrival here was accidental, we were going to perform a warp jump but things turned for the worst for us. A solar storm messed up our navigational systems and resulted in us turning up upon this world.

Excelsior: Constantinople here with his advanced scanners detected a large cluster of bogeys in this area, we believed it at first to be some military assets but we found you all instead having a fight with them.

Ria: A-Ah yes, for starters I am Commander Ria Harling from Eagle Union. One of many factions that forms Azur Lane, and the ones you annihilated were The Sirens. We believed them to be invaders from an alternate reality.

Excelsior: I see... I may think that they do not wish to do any diplomacy, no?

Ria: You are correct on that one.

Constantinople: Forgive him, he leans much into politics.

Ria: It's okay.

Excelsior: I would also like to ask a request, if I may.

Ria: What is it?

Excelsior: We would like to accompany you back to your base if you do not mind, we're quite in a place we do not currently know. But not all to worry, I shall answer any question if your faction request it.

Enterprise looks back at the Commander.

Enterprise: Commander, are you sure?

The woman pondered, she was distrustful at first, since they were also new. But then again, they could be key allies in defeating the Sirens.

Ria: It's alright Enterprise.

The Commander then looks at the Ascenders.

Ria: You may come with us to our base.

Excelsior visibly sighed in relief

Excelsior: I thank you for your amnesty, rest assured in turn we will escort you back too. And I shall answer any question your leader ask.

Ria: I hope you hold on to that.

Excelsior: No need to worry. We shall depart now in order not to prolong our inactivity on a former battleground.

Excelsior commanded his comrades to fly up and follow the fleet. Ria was eager to learn everything from them, as a curious child would.
