We had done it,after all of our strife,after all of our struggles,we had done it,victory was within our grasp,our enemies were crumbling before us and soon,they will fully fall and we would have achieved our total victory,the fate that the gods had decided for us from the beginning,the fate that was given to us from the start and the fate that we had all been waiting for

Despite being branded as mediocre or nothing special by the others,by merely being stationed on a Cruiser like Me,he still rose to the highest spot possible all while loyally never leaving my side,even after being given opportunities to be stationed at better places and in better positions in the hierarchy

He was the one to tell Me,that he would never leave and he never did,even after the attempts of seductions from 1 of my vixen superiors,he pushed her away without a second thought and ordered her to return to her post on her ship in such a commanding tone,that even she,who was known to be high and mighty,bowed and left without a word of disagreement

Truly,he is the greatest person I have met and I could not have asked for a better person to command Me

With our secure victory,it was only natural that a celebration would be held for our success,so a party and banquet was held as such but I was never fond of such gatherings,so I always tried to be alone during such events,finding the most secluded area I could and staying there until,all that the party has given and so,my answer for this usual act was an outside balcony,in the middle of the night

We drank,we played and we celebrated until the night had ended and when all was said and done,there was nothing more to do than finish the day with a good rest,this was epitome of the perfect day,I was even walked back to my room by my Commander as be worried about Me walking to the dojo to meditate in the middle of the night again

Across the many perils we faced to even the smallest of troubled,he worried about Me to no end,making sure I would come out alright,no matter the problem or situation and I could never complain about it,seeing as I even longed for it and as I longed his attention while I walked with him,I decided,I would ask him something that troubled Me for many moons now

He stopped in an instant as I stopped right behind him,there was a long pause from him as I waited in anticipation until he turned his head in the slightest of motion and spoke

Commander:do you want Me to be honest

Takao:as much as you can be

It was then,when he turned around and faced Me as he wrapped his arms around Me and pulled Me close to him,keeping his arms around Me tightly,preventing Me from moving as I felt him hold my head to his chest and speak

Commander:if being honest,then I want to spend my days with you,I want to spend my days with the person I love and trust.....and that's you,Takao,it couldn't be anyone else even if the world had ended

Tears streamed down my eyes as I listened to his confession,I wrapped my arms around him and held on tightly as well,not wanting to let go,not wanting to be separated from his warmth,not wanting to ever to be left by him or leave him ever again as he and I faced each other under the moonlight that shone through the open window

Soon after,whether under instinct or pent up longing,our lips connected with one another,pulling us both into a deep kiss,that lasted only seconds,before we both gasped for air,the longing in my heart,the longing that ached for so long,finally vanished into thin air and then replaced with the feeling of content as My Commander held Me in his arms
