Chapter 8. Allies?

Recap: The Kaiser of The Prussian Empire has joined the Azur Lane Alliance

Back to present

You are currently walking with Akagi, Admiral Hipper, and Y/n Windle, discussing about the Kaiser.

Eichi Yamamoto: Do you think we made the right choice?

Y/n Windle: As of right now, yes. This will prevent their empire from expanding and declaring war.

Admiral Hipper: I am just surprised of how strong their army, naval forces, submarines, and air force are. How did they hide all of this from the Sirens? Let alone, how did they hide thier entire empire from the Sirens?

Akagi: Hipper is right, we should be weary of the Prussians. They have stationed 200 men per main faction.

Eichi Yamamoto: Plus what ever is here and back at the heart of their empire. But I still don't understand why their people are so fund of the Kaiser.

Y/n Windle: Perhaps a tour of their empire and interviews will help us see inside the empire itself.

Akagi: That could work.

Eichi Yamamoto: Not now, we just became allies, so it would be best to wait a few weeks before anyone is allowed to visit the empire. If the Kaiser lets they visit of course. Akashi has also be taken as a POW by the Sirens and she was a pet for Observer Alpha. I already know what Dr. Mölder did to the captured Iron Blood's.

Y/n Windle: I just can't believe I wasn't commander yet to witness the kidnappings.

???: MAKE WAY FOR THE KAISER'S GUARD!!!!

???: MAKE WAY FOR THE ROYAL GUARDS OF THE PRUSSIAN EMPIRE PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!!

Eichi Yamamoto: WATCH OUT!!!!!

Anyone who was unfortunate to be in the way of the guards was pushed out of the way or stepped on.

Eichi Yamamoto: These Prussians mean business. They just march around and don't care.

???: It's called honor, national pride, and commitment to their duty.

Admiral Hipper: **gasps** Schwester. (sister).

Prinz Eugen: Hello Schwester. (sister).

Eichi Yamamoto: What do you mean honor, national pride, and commitment to their duty Ms. Eugen?

Prinz Eugen: Well, from what I have researched about the Prussians, it is considered an honor to fight in the Kaiser's name and for the people of the empire. Which includes fighting to the death. Another thing is that they carry national pride with them everywhere they set foot. They are loyal to the Kaiser and the Kaiser is loyal to the people. Which will boast morale , and they are suspected to do their job, no matter the situation. They go through an intense and complex system in order to join what ever branch of the army, with each branch and rank having a different set of training required. Although, my Schwester is right, how did they manage to hide an empire, an entire army, navy, air force, and the Kaiser for so long and from the Sirens? (sister).

Eichi Yamamoto: Maybe the answer is simple and we are over thinking it.

Y/n Windle: Could be. But I say we study Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder, he seems to be the answer to all of this madness.

Eichi Yamamoto: I think you're right. But lets not stalk him or raise any tensions between the empire and the alliance.

All: Agreed.

Akagi: But where is the empire's heart and what makes it so unique and important to the empire?

Eichi Yamamoto: Time will Akagi-chan.

Then, a man who appears to be in his early twenties comes up to you with a letter.

???: Excuse me sir, but are you Eichi Yamamoto?

Source: Wikimedia Commons

Eichi Yamamoto: Oh, yes, I am Eichi Yamamoto. Do you need something?

???: My name is Ben, I have a letter from Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder. He wishes to see immediately.

Eichi Yamamoto: Okay. Thank you Ben.

Ben: I'm just following my orders.

He hopes on to his bicycle and rides away.

Eichi Yamamoto: From Erich, I wonder what he wants.

Y/n Windle: We should see him as soon as possible, we don't want any trouble with our new friends.

Eichi Yamamoto: I agree, the letter says that he wishes to meet him at the docks. On board the S.M.S. Windlekönig. And there will be men waiting for me too.

Akagi: We should get going then. I really don't wanna see Erich's bad side.

Everyone heads over to the docks. When you arrive, you notice a large warship that is bigger compared to any other ship. And the ship has the S.M.S. Windlekönig painted on the bow and stern.

Eichi Yamamoto: I just that is the ship then. And it really stands out too.

Y/n Windle: Come on.

Guards: Halt! Alle Schiffe der Marine des Kaisers sind für jedermann verboten. (Halt! All ships of the Kaiser's navy are off limits to everyone.).

Y/n Windle: Aber wir haben einen Brief von Erich Alfred Otto von Mödler, um ihn an Bord der S.M.S. Windlekönig. (But we have a letter from Erich Alfred Otto Von Mödler to see him aboard the S.M.S. Windlekönig.).

Guard: Ich muss diesen Brief sehen, um zu klären, ob dies wahr ist oder nicht. (I must see this letter to clarify if this is true or not.).

You show the guards the letter.

Guard: Das Warten tut mir leid. Gehen Sie den Widder hinauf und auf dem Deck wartet ein Offizier auf Sie. (I am sorry for the wait. Go up the ram and there will be an officer waiting for you on the deck.).

Y/n Windle: Vielen Dank. (Thank you).

You make your way up the ram and see him, Erich Alfred Otto Von Mödler, waiting for you.

Eichi Yamamoto: Sorry for being later, we were in the city.

Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder: I understand, follow me. But if you try anything stupid, then you will be shot on site.

Eichi Yamamoto: Yes sir.

You and the others follow Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder up to the bridge. Then he takes y'all to a meeting room with 5 guards standing guard.

Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder: Please, have a seat so we can get started.

You decide to do as he says immediately, so he isn't suspicious about you.

Eichi Yamamoto: So, why do you need me Fleet Admiral Mölder?

Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder: **sits down** I prefer to be called by my first name, Erich. I have called for you because during the meeting, I noticed that you had some questions that weren't answered. No?

Eichi Yamamoto: Oh, um, yes. Yes I did.

Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder: Well, I have decided to arrange a meeting for you today some I can give you the answers you are in search of. You can start asking me these questions when you're ready Mr. Yamamoto.

Eichi Yamamoto: Well, my first question is, Why did the Kaiser decide to join our alliance?

Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder: He wants to make friends and show the world that we need to change from war to peace with one another.

Eichi Yamamoto: Okay, me next question is, why are there Prussian troops stationed in our factions?

Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder: To show that we care about you, and therefor, we are willing to guard you. But we also want to keep an eye or two one the factions, just case if the alliance decides to betray or invade our empire.

Eichi Yamamoto: What does the empire plan to do next?

Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder: Clean up our empire and provide the basic needs off the people.

Eichi Yamamoto: Does the Kaiser have any plans for war?

Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder: No, or rather, he plans to annex an Palau, Nauru, and the states of Micronesia. Then clean and provide for the people of these nations.

Eichi Yamamoto: If we go to war with the Sirens again, will the Empire of Prussia assist in the war?

Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder: Declaring, opposing, and assisting in any kind of war is a decision that the Kaiser and the government will vote on.

Eichi Yamamoto: Do you know why the people are so fund of the Kaiser?

Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder: Yes. When we took over the island nations of Asia near Vietnam. The Kaiser gave a speech to the people discussing their rights, wealth, power, government, laws, treatment of the environment, organizations, funding, prison treatment, crimes and their punishment, jobs, payment, bring the ones who died will fighting us home, and etc. Then I gave a speech about religious freedom, the people, what is suspected of them, funding, questions, and that I will raise the dead for proper burial, helping in the attempt to clean up the empire, fighting for rights, corrupted government and the fact that they will be removed and sentenced to death, voting, and that we are all equal, no matter our size, weight, looks, hair, color, gender, and etc.

Eichi Yamamoto: One more question from me. Will we be able to visit the empire?

Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder: The Kaiser controls who goes in and out of the empire as well as when and how. So you will have to ask the Kaiser to visit the empire. But I would wait for about a month before asking, because he is currently busy with the empire, funding, and etc. If you want, you can ask him when you're done.

Eichi Yamamoto: Okay, thank you for your time Erich.

Erich Alfred Otto von Mölder: You are most welcome Mr. Yamamoto.

You and the others leave the docks and head over to Bismarck to tell her the answers.

(THIS IS THE END OF CHAPTER 8. ALLIES?. AS ALWAYS, HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY READERS.)
