40: Warning Shots
=================
The dark clouds starts to loom over Observer and the rest of the off-guard shipgirls. The cackle of the clouds deafen the shipgirl's ears as Observer floats idly, smiling...
"SCATTER!!!"
Upon Wales's shout, everyone immediately scattered away from the precarious spot they were in, like sitting ducks for the Observer to be taken advantage of.
All the CVs who are in this battle let out as many planes as possible to fill the skies with them. And finally, after for the longest time, the stolen Siren technology that has given them modern era planes like the A-10 Thunderbolt, F-22 Raptor, F-35 Lightning, Eurofighter Typhoon and many others from all factions are now finally being used in battle. With Kaga, Enterprise, Illustrious, and Hornet using their planes to absolutely wreak havoc in the first minute of the battle. It was not quite windy yet, so the planes kept flying unbothered.
Because of all this, Observer didn't have to wait long to get barraged by every ship girl in her vicinity, and was quite impressed with their accuracy even in the darkness and in a storm. But also somehow was avoiding all of them, even with some girls trying to predict where she would move next and shooting said spot trying to get a hit in.
But as of now, she's able to mostly dodge all the attacks, and even worse for the girls, was to be able to still attack with her lasers and with precision.
And these planes were adapting to her movements in real time, so over time the aircraft were hitting almost all of their shots on Observer. Giving Belfast enough time to pop smokes around the field to cover them.
"Sadly, popping smoke like that is futile." Her eyes glowed and shot her lasers into the smoke.
Some yelps and screams of pain were heard in the smoke and Observer was filled with delight for their pain is her pleasure.
But she couldn't smile for long, as a missile from a Raptor got a direct hit on Observer and rendered one of her tentacle lasers unusable.
But before she can retaliate by shooting the countless aircraft down, she was ambushed by Tirpitz leaping out of the smoke and engaging in close combat.
"If I were still alive months ago, I would have already gotten rid of you before that otherworlder got to you. Shame that our partnership didn't work out. That tech you brandish on your sides only shows your dependence on us." Observe taunted Tirpitz, avoiding her swings, and had time to cackle.
"OBSERVER!!!" Enterprise was riding on an F-22 Raptor wing the aircraft let out 3 missiles, all hitting Observer which gave the Queen of the North a window to swing upwards, taking out one of her tentacles.
But then Observer headbutted Tirpitz, stunning her and pushing her away a notch. It was now Enterprise's turn at it.
Enterprise decided to keep her distance, wary of her lasers. But she got out another plane and rode on it and let out more planes to strafe the hell out of her and trying to get her overwhelmed on her own.
Wales, Kaga, and Eugen are definitely not letting them fight this battle on their own. So they got their shots in, popping out of the mist, doing as much damage as they can with their very limited time.
"AGH!!!"
Wales immediately turned her head sideways to see who was hit but another scream took her attention again.
As soon as she turned her head forward to face the Observer, a laser was on its way to hit, but her reflex kicked in and blocked the shot, but it sent her flying back into the smoke.
But then the trio of Dido, Sirius, and Sheffield revealed themselves, deploying into battle, helping Enterprise and Tirpitz.
=================
Edinburgh on the other side saw Wales bursting through the smoke like a projectile, and she waded as fast as she can to catch her before she hits a wall.
Hornet was now relegated to helping Belfast get Kaga and Eugen to the Maid Corp for them to escape. As both of them are extremely injured by a single direct hit from Observer's lasers.
And while that's all happening (all at the same time), Illustrious is trying to call the rest of the Maid Corp who were guarding the stolen Siren Aircraft Carrier.
"What do you mean you can't teleport now?" said Illustrious, baffled at what she just heard.
"The interface that Akashi made was definitely made for Sakura Empire members and Ironblood. All of us here do not know how to operate this!" Curlew asserted. As she is only with her sister, Curacoa. The rest of the maids who remained but left, mainly Newcastle, Glasgow, and Gloucester.
"Sister... Sister! An armada of Siren ships are closing in!" Curacoa ran back to her sister.
"We have more Siren reinforcements coming our way, Illustrious!" Curlew raised her voice in face of dire circumstances.
"Can you maneuver it manually, at least?" Illustrious asked, in which Curlew said yes on the other line.
"Alright, get that ship to it's maximum knots and turn back towards our positions, we'll jump to it and teleport away. We'll get Eugen and Kaga there ASAP."
"We got it, Lady Illustrious, 3 minutes."
"Belfast, are you not running out of smokescreens soon?!" Illustrious echoed from a distance away.
"Don't worry, Ms. Illustrious. Luck favors the prepared." She nodded as she waded through waters to get her smokescreen to be as wide as she can make it.
Illustrious decided that she would try to contribute... As she was given the most advanced planes that they have collected from the Siren Aircraft carrier. Mainly, stealth planes. She left Eugen and Kaga to be carried by the maids, rendezvous to the aircraft carrier.
And she mustered her strength and let out as many planes as she can get into the air. By the end of it, she starts to mentally count how many she let out as the storm was only getting worse by the minute and can't possibly look up.
=================
"I nearly killed Kaga, Eugen, and Wales. Is this how weak, no... How powerful I am now?" She remarked, coupled with laughter, as she was fighting BOTH Enterprise and Tirpitz at the same time. Avoiding every swing, keeping her distance, and her peak cockiness on full display.
"Since you're foolish enough to try and keep up with me, I'll finish you both off." She taunted. Her tentacles sped up and started going for Enterprise's stomach, which missed, but hit the bottom of her bow, breaking said part.
And then right after, one other tentacle swung up, colliding with Tirpitz's spear. Almost snapping it in half, but she was tossed in the air. But she turned her guns and shot it in the direction opposite of the Observer and catapulted her in the other direction the smokescreen, escaping with her life intact.
Enterprise, however, was trying to quickly get into the smokescreen as her bow became inoperable due to Observer's tentacles hitting the bottom of her bow, but Observer was not letting her get away, dashing towards her.
She was about to cut her in half as Enterprise was defenseless, but a plane just came out of nowhere and impaled Observer's shoulder with its sharp tip coupled with immense momentum, sending her back and yelling in pain.
But then, more of the stealth planes that Illustrious garnered in the air were not de-cloaking themselves and let out their payload on Observer. But her tentacles took the brunt of the damage inflicted to her. Guess Enterprise was 'lucky' this time as it gave her a good amount of time to escape within the smog.
A furious Observer let out a deafening screech, and waved her tentacles so hard that it cleared the smokescreen and scared off the stormy weather that she made out of nowhere. To see no one there.
=================
Leading up to the escape, Belfast successfully got Kaga on the Siren Aircraft Carrier. With Eugen still getting carried along by Hornet and the badly injured Wales carried by Edinburgh...
With Curacoa and Curlew and on board they helped Kaga to the control room where the teleportation interface was laid.
For some inexplicable reason, Illustrious, Belfast and the other maids didn't went on the Aircraft Carrier with them. Perhaps not telegraphing that the Siren Aircraft Carrier was hijacked, or in fear that the 2 aces and the 3 other maids who assisted them might have not survived the encounter with a cracked-up Observer.
So as a result of not boarding the Aircraft Carrier, the carrier disappeared and teleported to the base.
As Illustrious, Hornet, and Belfast just watched in bewilderment as it unfolded. But they couldn't stay for long as they saw Tirpitz from above them looking like a projectile leaving the battle alive.
A-kun: Ironblood Girls are supposed to fight till the very end, right? Well at least she's alive. Pog.
Belfast double-timed to help Hornet to carry Eugen, and Edinburgh was helped by Gloucester to carry Wales with them to the base.
"Belfast, Help Eugen, I'll go after my sister!" Hornet exclaimed, while letting out a number of planes to cover her approach to get her lucky sister.
Hornet did not waste any time as soon as she saw Enterprise, as she took out her hand, and Hornet took it and booked it away from the Observer.
And accompanied by the night, they were all successful in escaping the Observer's tentacles and evading the Siren reinforcements that came along due to crisp movement patterns through obstacles to cover them from view.
Back in the base, Caster is still awake as per usual... 7 PM. White Wisdom Cube sitting on the table, he's basically finished his paperwork on his own since he let everyone rest from commissions.
He's been really stressed out in the past few days, bad news here, there, and everywhere. And almost all of them all laid on his shoulders and had to do all alone... But today was a very weird day.
He didn't see any of the faction's aces, Akagi and Enterprise that he was accustomed to see everyday, even the Royal Navy ones too. No Wales, Hood, and even spookier, the maids who would help him in his daily routine.
It's not helping his mental as well. As the past visions he's been seeing for a while now is screwing him up.
But he has a chance to sleep right now and have a peaceful sleep for tomorrow...
'Perhaps they're just getting some rest of their own. I guess that's understandable. I'm a grown man, damn it. I don't need them as much as I think I am.'
He then got up from his chair, and turned off the lights in his room and up the coldness of his in-office AC. Getting the temperature for a good night sleep.
He then went to his bathroom, washed his body, teeth, the whole thing and went out of the washroom fully clothed in sleepy pajamas. Everything was going well, until his tablet started to flash red and blinding him slightly due to seeing it for the first time.
He slowly walked up to it, he's very much used to getting debriefed or getting emergency calls in the middle of the night but so far in this world, he has been pretty adamant of not getting into night missions or commissions for that matter.
It was a voice call alarm and a S.O.S. 'Something big is happening, but everyone is supposed to be resting. What is it then?'
He looked at it, it was a S.O.S signal from Illustrious, and a call from Independence. He picked up Independence's call.
"Commander, we're sending emergency fleets to get to Illustrious's position." She said as soon he pressed the answer button.
"Wait, Illustrious? Was this on the commission team list? Is this a late commission team coming home? Who is with her? Ask her that now." He pressed Independence for an answer.
"She's... Not picking up the phone. She's mostly likely still escaping something."
Caster is beyond confused, he was sure that he got every commission team back home, and he really expected this night to be the most relaxing yet due to the lack of paperwork holding him back. He started to go through his options...
Some fleets were already deployed to go help them. He was basically good now. But he sat back in his chair trying to piece together what has happened. The days before this was littered bad news here and there,
"Independence, get the other secretaries and guard the shores until they arrive."
He started to feel some chest pain near his heart... His breathing suddenly became heavy, his palm is on his chest, and taking some deep breathes, but the pain wouldn't let go.
Even worse, it got *worse.*
"Got it, Commander. And what are you doing next?"
THUD!
She then heard a rough sound at the other end... It sounded like the tablet he was using fell down to the floor.
Independence dropped the call and started to run.
=================
Caster, getting one of his panic attacks, coupled with his heart rate spiking, he was reeling as he dropped to his chair, he can't feel his legs... Or does he have the energy to yell out for help.
Desperately looking for options, the White Wisdom Cube on the table, which once laid there with no interference, now it's recognizable white color was now replaced by violet and an aura that Caster was not welcoming in this time of him slowly dying.
Seeing this violet Wisdom Cube scared Caster so bad that he tried to move his legs to drag his swivel chair as far away from it as possible... But his leg still won't respond.
The cube started to float on its own again.
"No, no, NO!!!"
The light consumed him.
Red.
=================
The doorknob falls to the ground and someone kicks the door open, and it was due to Independence's arrow at the doorknob itself due to being locked every night to fend off the sleep paralysis 'demons' that Caster might encounter, but anyway, Independence got into the office, the first thing that they saw was the violet Wisdom Cube, and Caster. And both see his eyes to be red, and on the ground shielding himself from something that Independence can't see.
She tried getting closer, and touching him, but he started screaming out of nowhere, holding to his head, his eyes tearing up so fast that he already made a stream down his face.
"DON'T TOUCH ME, YOU!!!" He screamed, wailing his hands everywhere.
The first person she had in mind in helping her was Vestal, so she took the tablet and sounded the alarms in the emergency rooms. Vestal is probably already out there running..
Next thing was the Wisdom Cube, which was glowing violet instead of white from her rare sightings of it in action. So Independence moved with haste.
Every second goes by, the violet glow gets brighter and Caster gets more weaker and weaker... His cries make the 2 girls move more swiftly.
Independence had to use the Commander's chair to have a height boost and she gripped the cube to her hands, but it was starting to mess with her head also.
=================
An ear-shattering sound came out the window of the Commander's office as the white Wisdom Cube was punted out by Independence in self-defense and desperation on keeping Caster alive.
She winded up her bow and a hit to it's sides, turning it's color to black and it's sinister glow dissipated.
Right after that she immediately stepped off the table and held Caster in her arms. She looked at his face... Tears all over him, eyes bloodshot red, and she couldn't help, but to tear up as well...
That didn't take long however as Vestal gets into the office as well: "Take him to the ICU! Seconds matter now, Independence!"
She carried Caster bridal style, and was somehow light to her, but this only made her sprint to the ICU that much faster. And Vestal started to run out as well, trying to keep up with her.
And the alarms didn't only got Vestal to move, nearly every girl in the building was notified and was following Independence and Vestal to see what's going on.
The night ended in chaos...
=================
"His heart was definitely close to failure there from extreme stress... Poor Commander..." Vestal, puts away her stethoscope. "Independence, you said he was going insane? From the Wisdom Cube?"
"Well, yes. I assume it was the white Wisdom Cube, but it was colored violet when I barged into his office." remarked Independence, turning her head on the door of the ICU with dozens upon dozens of girls looking at the window.
"The x-rays results from scanning his brain suggests not much damage was dealt... His brain easily recovered from whatever he was experiencing. His mental toughness is impressive. Also, what's the news on the cube now?"
"I threw out the window and 'lightly' damaged it to stop it from glowing... I don't know if that's the right move... But I think Akashi got the Wisdom Cube and took it to research it." She continued...
"He has been pretty obedient in his recovery process, so I'm not surprised that he didn't die as a result. This happening in anywhere else, he would have been done for." The repair ship stated, getting some equipment to help Caster breath properly so he can wake up faster...
"Vestal, I'll leave you to it. I'll clear the way so the girls looking over that window are gone now."
"Okay, thank you!"
=================
In another room in the emergency room(s), the girls who managed to escape was sitting on their beds, all silent. Hood was the only one making noise by drinking her tea.
"Bad news, Observer's alive again. Worse news, how are you girls gonna tell it to him? Caster's got a heart attack yesterday, probably because of your operation." Hood summarized the things the injured girls told her.
All of the girls perked up at the news. All felt even worse.
The door slammed open, it was Akagi. She was trying to find her sister. But she isn't in the room.
Seconds pass, and Akagi gets more and more angry.
"WHERE'S KAGA?!" She demanded to everyone but no one had the guts enough to answer... "ENTERPRISE?! Did you hurt my SISTER?!" She walked up to her bed.
Hornet was not about to let Akagi hurt her sister even more.
"KAGA IS SAFE!" Hornet shouted, getting Akagi to turn around to face her.
Belfast, in her calm, cool and collected manner stated this: "You see, we returned to base without the Siren Aircraft Carrier. Because it teleported without us. And ff I can remember correctly, Curlew, Curacoa, and Kaga were inside the Carrier."
Hearing this, Akagi slowly calmed down but she still isn't present which flared up her anger again. "Where is she then?!"
"That's the problem... Erebus and Monitor hasn't reported any Siren CV showing up in our shores."
"Until the aircraft carrier gets back here, I don't think we'll be seeing any of her soon..."
Akagi stood there speechless. And confused. She doesn't know who to get angry at... Enterprise didn't had a role, nor did the Sirens, tears started to fall below her eyes as she slowly walks out of the room...
"Excuse me, girls." Hood stood up and got out of the room, possibly going after Akagi. Leaving her tea set behind.
Silence filled the room... A room full of regrets and guilt.
"...What should we do?" Hornet was the first to break the silence...
"We should speak with the Commander when he's recovered... How are we able to use the new info we now know if we just break his trust in us completely?" Enterprise explained to the group.
"That S.O.S signal might've actually be the catalyst that got him so stressed in the first place..." Hornet astutely observed... "That alarm goes straight to Commander's tablet, I believe."
Illustrious did not want to hear those words but she was absolutely correct. Sheffield, and Sirius were beside her trying to keep her from crying.
"Not only that, with Observer's revival, she's absolutely bound to attack the base few days from now." Eugen commented on another revelation they've found out. "Shall we tell him that also?"
"That's needs to be told to the Commander without question, Eugen." Replied Tirpitz. Who was on Eugen's bed, and wasn't badly injured in the fight. But her weapon was nearly snapped in half and she's getting it repaired, along with Enterprise's bow.
Most girls in the room were conscious but Wales however is still knocked out cold and is still tended to by Belfast, but then the door opened again, and it was now Vestal and Independence.
The room was quickly filled with tenseness. All the girls who participated in the OP knows that this is bad news.
"Okay... To start, why did you all went into a unauthorized OP without Commander's approval? Are you girls asking to get punished?" Vestal raised her voice, scaring the hell out of everyone, even Independence, who was next to her.
"You should be grateful that Caster is such a forgiving person..."
"Actually..."
Hood was suddenly behind Vestal and took her and Independence by surprise.
"Siren Observer is back and alive once again, and gave everyone here a bad time. I reckon if she didn't showed up the girls would have been home safe and sound." She explained how they got into such state in the first place.
"Hood! Did you found Akagi by any chance?" Enterprise asked her. Hood smiled, not expecting her rival to be asking that question.
"Yes, and I took her to Nagato. She's in good hands... For now."
"Anyway, the report on Commander Caster is that he almost died from cardiac arrest, and the highest BPM I got from his heart was nearly 200." She read her paper and all girls in the room are dead worried for him.
"If you're not gonna disclose this unauthorized OP to the Commander, I'm gonna leak this to the rest of the fleet. I'm getting in trouble as well if you don't give him a good reason for doing so." Vestal asserted...
"Before I go, there's some food prepared by King George V in the cafeteria, maids can you fetch those dishes to give to everyone? Have a speedy recovery, I'll go look after Commander again." announced Vestal before she left the room.
Some girls went in the room from all different factions trying to make them happy.
=================
"Ugh......."
A long yawn escaped, and met the blinding bright lights.
"Commander..."
The man did not say a word, he looked at his hand with some kind of small tube puncturing his left wrist.
He looks forward.
=================
A few days later, Caster was in his office, doing mundane work, until he was reminded of something. He got up from his desk, went to a bookshelf and got the book he's been writing on for the past few months.
And with the perfect atmosphere around him, AC turned on, and silence only enveloping the room, he started to get his pen and write and the scribbles on the papers were the only sound in the room...
His future book (if he finishes it), is comprised with 3 parts.
1. The Mindset of a new "Otherworlder" (incomplete)
2. Negotiating Strategies and Naval Commander strategies (complete)
3. Short Stories (cautionary tales of Caster's experience, feel-good stories, etc.) (incomplete)
He flips the book to its first page, and it was mostly blank. Some progress was made, but not enough to fill it as wanted.
"You may... Hear the girls that surrounds you... The name Caster. That's me. The one who wrote this book... Don't be pressured... You reading this is probably necessary for your survival... In this new world. I'll guide you along. Go on, stand up. Look around the room..." He mumbled as he writes down the words.
He continues: "Everything here... Is meticulously placed and present in a way so you can get up to speed! Remember, work comes first, the girls, second. I managed to do it, there's no reason that you can't do it like I did."
The door creaked open, but he wasn't at all bothered, however. As he already knew who were the girls coming through those doors.
So it was Enterprise, Hornet, Wales, Illustrious, Eugen, Tirpitz, Hood, and lastly Akagi. Who came in the room the most expressive out of everyone. And not in a good way. In which when he gave them a brief glance, Akagi was the first one to get his attention, not only today, but from yesterday also.
The girls were acting very awkward, as they should be because of what they did and Caster's lack of... Any response that is very telling of about what he's feeling. But he reached out his hand pointing to the couches. And so the girls all sat down where Akagi kept standing.
So the culmination of all of that factors adding up together is a tense atmosphere that keeps heightening with every second that passes by.
The girls looks at each other, not knowing who to start the conversation nor what to say to start the conversation. But fret not, Caster is the one breaking the ice once again.
He closes his book, causing everyone in the room to perk up and look at him, and gave everyone a very 'sharp' look.
Bordering to a menacing glare. They've seen Caster get mad before, but this particular one is something the girls should never get near to the level of anger ever again.
"To start, please raise your hand on who participated in this... Unauthorized operation?"
All raised their hands except of Hood and Akagi.
"Can I set the record straight? I truly think that your actions have undermined my authority."
Those words immediately sting. You could practically see it the faces of those who participated.
"Have I been too laid back with you all? Does this call for a change?"
He waited for a response... No luck.
"If I were following normal procedures, I would have gotten you ousted for insubordination. How can you even excuse this type of behavior? It got some of you injured, what did you even do?"
Before Caster finished berating the girls for their actions, Enterprise raised her hand, requesting to speak.
"We have all unanimously agreed that all of this is our fault, including your heart attack, and we apologize for this behavior. And I hope that you can forgive us down the line."
'Nope, not forgetting this just yet.' Caster thought.
"But."
"We have major news, and the reason why we're injured in the first place... And a new conflict coming up sooner than later." She stated, which got his ears to listen to.
He was finally caught up on the news that they used the hijacked Siren Aircraft Carrier, and it's lack of reappearance on the shores nearby. And also taking away Kaga, Curacoa and Curlew.
And as for the other news, Caster's head goes limp, almost slamming to the desk. It is his response to the news that the Siren Observer is back and revived with a renewed lust of vengeance. And was the one thing that hurt all of the girls inside the room. Enterprise even remarked that she did all of that on her own.
Akashi's scouting report on Observer Alpha should be updated since her destructiveness and allegedly improved weapons on her side, it is now a completely different ballgame with how should the Coalition should approach her.
And speaking of the Coalition:
"We all know where this is leading, right? What are we going to do then, Commander?" Eugen commented while tending to her own injury on her hamstring.
He raised his head to give his answer(s).
"Some of you may not like my first idea, but you girls may need me soon again to be out there. And the shoulder surgery could fit in our timeline if we're lucky."
Expecting the angry reactions from some of the girls, he raised a finger up, signaling that he's not done speaking.
"But, I do know the risks and I'm surely dead if I tried facing Observer directly, so to that, We could pool our resources to either fund more PR research making it quicker, or upgrade the fleet's existing equipment."
"If I do remember correctly, those Siren blueprints that we were able to decipher wasn't only limited to aircraft, right?" He inquired.
No one in the room nodded, as they all had no idea. This made Caster chuckling at his own misstep.
"I guess I'll ask Akashi, and hopefully we got those off the ship, so we can allocate our resources accordingly." nodded the Commander before he lowered his head to get back on writing his book. But before the pen made contact with the paper, Hood cleared her throat in such a way that got back his attention.
"Commander, I think you're forgetting your punishment to these girls." said Hood, before a lot of reactions from everyone else in the room. "As much as you girls are getting mad, insubordination comes with a hefty price, does it not?" She argued that calmed some down, but didn't work for others.
All looked at Caster for his final verdict.
"...The girls who disobeyed actions are all disallowed for commission participation until Observer arrives, knocking on our doorstep."
All girls sigh in relief. Nothing too crazy.
"Also, You girls may or may not do community service. I'll let Belfast know, and she and the maid corp to teach you the ropes, hope that is enough."
Before any objections came from any of the girls, (most of them just looked at Hood again with even more disappointment.) Caster raised his hand to get their attentions.
"I have been always a pretty laid-back Commander. I know your doings are your business, but things like this, where you could have died and I didn't know, I will never let it slide. You girls are very important not only to everyone who are depending on you all to save the world, but to me."
A smile grew on all of the girl's faces. They heard it correctly and it came from him. That's the closest they'll get for a confession from him.
"You're all dismissed, except for the 2 Ironblood ladies."
Everyone was alarmed, even the 2 Ironblood ladies themselves. Enterprise, just sat on the couch and started to 'read' some books. And Hood just didn't moved at all from her spot, and definitely insisting she stays.
Eugen was also feeling the aura of Akagi from behind her as she's slowly leaving. She smirked. 'He's such a chick magnet.'
Caster however, wasn't fazed by the sudden tension rising from the last remark he said. And he can definitely see the pattern now. But he kept going, he signaled them to get closer to him.
Tirpitz complied normally, but Eugen, still very interested with Caster, scooted a bit more closer to Caster where her assets were almost at his face.
Eugen, for the first time saw him visibly blush from the sight, but his face tells a different story. But his face was enough for her.
A-kun: And you damn know she's pretty happy about it.
Enterprise has stubbornly not moved an inch from her couch position at all. And Hood wasn't moving an inch either. And at the door, a menacing aura was felt by Hood as it was close by.
After some stares from Enterprise and Hood that felt like it went on for too long, Eugen and Tirpitz stood up. Tirpitz left, but Eugen had something to say before leaving.
"Commander, I'll maybe need some more intel from you so the Ironblood can work more efficiently with your data. So I'll be staying here for a little while. Wouldn't you mind?"
Akagi just bursts through the door and her aura was immediately felt around the room. Even spooking Caster a little bit.
"...Yeah, whatever it takes to get us through this."
'Oh, no. I said it again, without thinking!!!'
"I also want to volunteer myself to also staying with you for a undisclosed amount of time." Enterprised declared.
One domino...
"Oh dear, my legs are dead tired from standing. I do also think I might also need some company with you, Commander~" Hood declared second.
Two dominoes...
'These pests...' Akagi exclaimed.
=================
Now that the future plans has now been agreed upon, the outside world, however. One particular creature is really to create an impasse.
"Just so you wait... After I make my magnum opus off of your base, I'll rid of every single one of you..."
"My orchestra has only started."

...
Amagi gazes straight to the sunlight. Not fazed whatsoever. Someone goes up behind her.
She points at the chair next to Bismarck. Some dust forming around it.
"Seems someone is about to join us soon..."
A-kun: Took me 10 years, yep. Super long chapter though. How tf, did I manage this?
