Hey guys/girls. Sorry i haven't been updating regularly. It's because I've been busy with my tests, but I still found some time to make this chapter. So anyway, let's get started with this chapter.

David and Wales went up to meet the three. The three shipgirls noticed them and went up to meet the two.

David:"Hello, my name is David. I will be your commander from here on out."

The three shipgirls looked at the commander with curiosity, then one of them spoke up.

???:"So you're the commander huh? My name is Pheonix. That's right, the legendary Pheonix. I hope you have what it takes to command me.

David:"Hello there Pheonix. Nice to meet you. I can assure you that I will try my best to bring out the best of your abilities."

After the introduction, David went up to the other shipgirls.

David:"And who might you be?"

???:"Hello commander, second ship of the Yorktown class, Enterprise, reporting for duty. I neither sympathize nor hold back against my enemies, instead I go all out, such is my way."

David:"Hello to you too, Enterprise. I look forward to working with you."

David then went to meet the last shipgirl, only to be bear hugged by the shipgirl.

???:"Oh my, what a cute commander. Let your big sister Atago take care of you from now on~"

David:"H-hello Atago. C-can you l-let go of m-me? I c-can't breath!"

Atago:"Oh my, sorry commander. I'll be more gentle next time. *giggles*

David was then released from the bear hug.

Wales:"Are you alright commander?" she asked worriedly.

David:"Yeah, I'm fine. Just need to catch my breath. OK then, why don't I give you girls a tour around the base?"

Enterprise:"That sounds great!"

David:"OK then, follow me."

David then showed the girls around the port. They went to the canteen, the training grounds, the academy, and all the other places at the port. They then reached the dorms.

David:"So this is the place you girls will be staying in."

Pheonix:"Wow, it's huge."

David:"Of course it is. This place is where all the shipgirls on this base stay. So, here are the keys to your rooms. If you need anything, just come to office. Oh, and one more thing. Feel free to call me David when were not working."

David and Wales then left the dorms, but on his way out, he bumped into someone. The person then pushed David to the floor.

???:"Hey, watch where your going you idiot!

David:"Oww. Hey! You didn't have to push me!"

???:"Oh, Im sorry. Are you hurt you little baby? Hahaha!"

Wales:"Hey, you don't have say that!" she said while helping David up.

???:"Wait, Wales? What are you doing here?"

Wales:"Paul?!"

David:"Wait. Wales, do you know him?"

Wales:"Yeah. He was my previous commander."

David was shocked. So this is Wales old commander.

Paul:"What are you still doing here? I thought I told you not to come here again!"

Wales didn't answer his question.

Paul:"Hey, answer me you useless ship!"

After hearing that, David grabbed Paul by his shirt.

David:"Hey! Listen here you bastard! Wales is with me now. So don't you dare say that about her!"

Paul:"Oh, trying to play the hero are you kid? Listen, David was it? I said that because it's true! She's just a waste of space and resources!"

David:That's it!!"

David then punched Paul in the face.

Paul:"Oh, you wanna fight?! Let's go then!"

Paul then tried to punch David, but David dodged it and then grabbed his shirt and slammed him against the wall. But the fight wasn't over. Paul then kicked David in his stomach. He fell back in pain. Paul took this chance and punched his face untill it was bleeding.

Paul:"So this is Wales new commander huh? Your just as useless as her!"

Hearing that, David got even angrier than before and kicked Paul in the legs. He was stunned. David then got up and punched Paul in the stomach multiple times and finished it with an uppercut to the face. Paul then fell down to the floor.

David:"Who's useless now, huh?!

David was about to finish it when Wales stopped him.

Wales:"David, please stop."

David:"Why should I?! He said bad things about you!"

Wales:"I know. It's OK. I don't mind."

David:"But-"

Wales then hugged David.

Wales:"It's OK David. I don't care what he says about me. All that matters is what you think of me. So please, calm down."

Hearing that, David began to calm down. Paul then got up and started to run away.

Paul:"This isn't over, you hear me?! I will get my revenge!" He yelled while running away.

David:"What a coward."

He then blacked out. When he came to, he was on a hospital bed. He had bandages around his head and stomach. He was still dizzy and he wasn't seeing clearly. He was about to get up when the door to his room opened. It was the doctor.

Doctor:"Hello there David. How are you feeling?"

David:"Hey there doc. My head and body still hurts but other than that, Im fine."

Doctor:"OK then. There are some people here to see you."

Wales then entered the room and quickly gave David a hug.

Wales:"David, are you alright?" she asked worriedly.

David:"Yeah, Im fine. Just a little dizzy is all."

Wales:"Really? That's great! Im so happy your alright." She said while there were tears in her eyes.

David:"Hey, don't cry. It's OK. Im fine." David said while wiping away her tears.

Then the door opened again. This time it was Alex and Harry.

Alex:"David, what happened?!"

David:"Uh, yeah. About that. I got into a fight."

Harry:"With who?"

David:"Some guy named Paul. He was talking trash about Wales, then I just got angry and punched him."

Alex:"Oh, Paul. I know him. He is one of the worst commanders here. He treats his shipgirls like trash if they're not strong enough. I dont even know how he's still being a commander at this point."

Harry:"OK now I'm pissed. No one does this to my friends! Why don't we go pay him a visit?" he said while cracking his hands.

David:"Don't bother with him. I already beat him up so bad that he's in much of a worse state than me."

Alex:"OK then, but tell us if he's bothering you. I wont hesitate to tell the Admiral."

David:"Thank's. I appriciate it."

The door opened again. This time it was the nurse.

Nurse:"Hello David. The doctor says that you can leave the hospital. He said that you should take it easy untill your wounds heal."

David:"OK, thank you nurse."

David then tried to get up but everytime he moves, his body hurts.

David:"It's gonna be hard to work in this condition."

Alex:"I think you should take some time off. Like the doctor said, you have to take it easy, so no working."

David:"Fine." he said reluctantly.

They then helped David reach his room.

Harry:"Alright, were here."

David:"Thanks guys, for helping me."

Alex:"Don't worry dude. Were here for you."

David:" Thanks."

Harry:"Oh yeah, Wales, can I ask you a favor?

Wales:"Sure, what is it?"

Harry:"Can you take care of David untill he can start working again?"

Wales:"Of course I can. I'll be by his side untill he is fully healed."

Harry:"OK then, we'll see you later."

David:"OK. Bye"

After Harry and Alex left, David and Wales went into the room. David then layed down on his bed.

David:"So Wales, where will you be sleeping?"

Wales:"Here of course. Im here to take care of you untill you feel better."

David:"OK then. I have an extra bed in the other room. You can use it if you'd like."

Wales:"OK David."

David:"Alright, Im gonna go to sleep. See you in the morning."

Wales:"OK David. Good night."

They then went to sleep.

Timeskip

It was the middle of night and suddenly, Wales woke up.

(Wales point of view)
What time is it? It's still midnight? I should probably get back to sleep. Wait! I should check on David. she thought to herself. She then went to David's room. He was still sound asleep. David's face sure is cute when he's sleeping. she thought to herself. She then moved closer to David and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Wales:"Thank you for everything that you've done for me." she whispered in his ear.

She then left his room and continued her sleep.
