Hey guys. I just want to thank you all for supporting my story. I know it's not the best and it can be improved, but still I want to express my graditude to you all. Anyway, lets begin Chapter 5.

It was early in the morning at the port. The sun wasn't even up yet. Everyone was sound asleep, except for David. He was in his room getting ready for a run around the port.

(David's point of view)
Allright, Im all set. Now, where is my iPod? he wondered while searching his room for his iPod. He then remebered where it was. It was at his office.

David:"Oh shoot! I left it on my desk!"

He then quickly went to his office to pick it up. When he arrived, he saw someone coming out of his office. Wait, did I really forgot to lock the door to my office? Im such an idiot! he thought to himself. Just as he was getting closer to his office, he saw who the person was. It was Hood.

David:"Hood, what are you doing there?" he asked.

Hood:"Hello David, I was just putting a letter at your desk. It's from the admiral."

David:"The admiral?"

Hood:"Yes, he said that you must read it as soon as possible."

David:"OK, Ill read it as soon as I can."

Hood:"OK then, oh and David, can i ask you a favor?

David:"What favor?"

Hood:"It's about Wales. Can you please look after her? She's a bit reckless so she need's someone to keep her in check. Can you do that?"

David:"Sure, of course I can, it's my job to care of my shipgirls."

Hood:"OK, glad to hear that. Well then, I'll see you later."

David:"OK"

Then, Hood exited the room, leaving David to read the letter.

David sat down on his chair and picked up the letter. I wonder what the letter's about. he thought to himself. He opened the letter and began to read.

"Commander David, because you have succesfully defeated the Siren fleet near our border, you have been given permission to build a few more ships to add to your port. The engineers at the docks will fill you on the details."

After reading the letter, David sat back for a moment, his mind was still thinking back to the letter. What types of ships should I choose? He wondered while looking out the window. Then he remembered something. Wait, wasn't I suppose to go on a run? I should get going he thought to himself. He quickly picked up his iPod and he headed out of his office.

When he got out of the building, he put on his earphones and started to run. While he was running, he was still wondering about the letter. He stopped running when he saw the sunrise. This is why I love mornings. The sunrise is so beautiful he thought to himself. He then began to run again. He did about 4 laps around the port untill he stopped. He then returned to his room to take a shower and get prepared for the day. After taking a shower and putting on his uniform, he then went to the canteen to get some breakfast. Daily activities at the port start at 08:00 and it was still 07:40, so David still had time to grab a bite to eat at the canteen.

When he arrived at the canteen, the place was crowded as usual, so David waited in line to get some food. He then arrived at the counter.

Canteen Staff:"Hello sir, what would you like to eat?

David:"I'll have some eggs with bread and a few sausages."

Canteen Staff:"OK sir, please wait a moment."

After waiting a few minutes, he got his food and went to find a place to sit. He then saw his friends waving at him, so he came to sit at their table.

Alex:"Hey David, come sit here with us."

David:"Sure."

David then sat next to Harry. That's when he realized that there were other people sitting at the table.

David:"So Alex, who is the girl sitting next to you?"

Alex:"Oh, this is my secretary ship. Her name is Yorktown."

Yorktown:"Hello Commander David. Nice to meet you. I am Yorktown."

David:"Hello Yorktown, nice to meet you too."

David then saw that Yorktown was wearing a ring. He was just about to ask about it then Harry asked a question.

Harry:"Hey David, I heard rumors that there was a Siren fleet near our borders. Is that true?"

David:"Yup. Its true and it was my fleet that dealt with the Sirens."

Alex:"Your joking right? You can't be serious?"

David:"It's true! Why would i lie to you guys?"

Yorktown:"It's true Alex, I also heard it from the shipgirls under his command. They succesfully defeated the Siren fleet near the borders."

Alex:"Wow, You are really are amazing dude! I still can't believe you defeated a Siren fleet on your first day."

David:"Yeah, me too."

They continued talking untill 07:55. After saying goodbye to his friends, David went to his office to start working. When he opened the door to his office, he saw Wales tiding up some files.

Wales:"Good morning Commander." she said with a smile.

David:"Good morning Wales. What were you doing just now?"

Wales:"I was just getting the files and documents that needed your sign."

David:"OK then, but now I need you to come with me to the docks."

Wales:"Why is that?" she asked curiously.

David:"The admiral sent a letter. He said that because of defeating the Siren fleet, I was given permission to build a few more ships. I need my secretary ship to come with me."

Wales:"OK then."

They then headed for the docks.

When they arrived at the docks, they were greeted by a bunch of little girls with building equipment.

???:"Hello there. Who are you?

David:"Hello, My name is David. I'm here to oversee the construction of the new shipgirls that the Admiral assigned to me.

???:"Oh, your the commander the Admiral told us about. We were just about to start the builds. Wanna see?"

David:"Yes, I would."

???:"OK then, follow me."

While they were walking, David asked a question.

David:"If i may ask, what type of ship are you? I've never seen your type in combat before.

???:"That's because we are in charge of building new ships for the port. I am what you would call a Bulin. As you can see, my color is purple and the yellow colored ones are what you call a Prototype Bulin MKII. We build and upgrade ships here.

David:"Wow, you girls do all that?"

Bulin:"Yep. Anyway, here we are."

They then stopped infront of a giant machine that looked like a giant portal. The portal was shaped into a hexagonal shape. Between it were 2 huge engines that power the machine.

Bulin:"First, let me explain how this machine works. You take a wisdom cube and put it in the middle and then you activate the 2 engines. The engines will start to produce electricity which is then sent to the wisdom cube. The build time ranges from 20 minutes untill 5 hours, depending on the ship."

David:"OK then. Im starting to understand, but im still confused. How do we choose what ship we will get?"

Bulin:"I was getting to that. The types of ships you will get depend on the amount of cubes used and the amount of energy put into it."

She then showed David 3 switches on the machine.

Bulin:"These switches I'm showing you are to control the amount of energy that is given to the wisdom cube. If you activate the first switch with only 1 wisdom cube in the machine, you will most likely get vanguard ships. The second and third switches work only if you put 2 wisdom cubes inside. If you activate the second switch, you will most likely get battleships, heavy cruisers, basically ships with high firepower. The third switch is for aircraft carriers, submarines, all those types of ships. It is up to you to decide which type of ship you want."

David:"I see, so you can pick wich type of ships you want. I guess I'll choose 3 ships for now."

Wales:"What type of ship will you choose commander?" Wales asked curiously.

David:" I guess Ill choose 1 of each."

Bulin:"OK then. We will start building the new ships right away. We will inform you when its done."

David:"Thank you. I appreciate it."

David and Wales then left the docks and headed back to the office.

When they arrived at the office, David took a seat on his chair and started to fill in the paperwork that was on his desk until noon. After finishing the last of the paperwork, David let out a sigh of relief. He then looked at his watch. It was 12:30. He was about to ask Wales what she wanted to eat for lunch when she pulled out 2 bento boxes from a bag.

Wales:"Commander, here you go."

David:"Wales, what is this?"

Wales:"It's lunch. I made it myself. I wanted to thank you for everything you've done for me."

David:"Wow, thanks Wales."

David opened the box and began to eat.

David:"Wow Wales, this is great. You'd make a great wife."

David than realised what he said and looked at Wales. Her face was bright red.

David:"Uhh wai- ,I didn't mea-, I wasn-, I didn't mean it like that."

Wales:"Y-you didnt?" she said looking upset.

David:"I mean, I-I did. I meant you will make a great wife, I just didn't mean it in an akward way." he said embarrassed.

Then David got a message from the Bulin's at the dock.

David:"The Bulins said that the shipgirls are almost done being built. They want us to come to the docks as soon as possible."

Wales:"O-Ok, we can go there after were finished eating."

After lunch, they went to the docks. When they arrived, they saw 3 shipgirls   infront of the docks.

David:"I guess it's time to meet the new girls. Let's go Wales."

Wales:"Yes commander."
