Hey guys/girls. It's me again. Sorry again it took a while. Anyway, let's get into this chapter.

After the attack, the base slowly began to rebuild itself. Luckily, there were no casualties because of the incident. Everyone slowly got back to their daily routine at the base. As for David and Wales, they were officially dating. They have been dating for a few months after the incident.

(Wales point of view)

Where is he? Were going to be late. Wales thought as she stood in front of the main building. Just then, she heard David calling out to her.

Wales: "Where have you been? Were going to be late for our double date."

David: "Sorry. I was out buying something."

Wales: "Alright. Cmon, their waiting for us."

They then headed towards the restaurant where they all agreed to meet up. When they reached the restaurant, they saw Alex and Yorktown waiting for them in front of the restaurant.

David: "Hey guys! Sorry we're late."

Alex: "Where were you two? We've been waiting here for half an hour."

David: "Yeah, about that..." David said while scratching his head.

Alex: "Whatever. Let's just start the date."

David: "Sure"

The four then went inside the restaurant. Inside, they went to their table and ordered their food. While waiting for their food, they began to talk to each other about their work, personal life, that kind of stuff. While they were talking, Wales noticed that Yorktown was wearing a ring. She decided to ask jer about it.

Wales: "Hey Yorktown, is that an engagement ring?"

Yorktown: "Yes. Alex gave it to me a few months ago."

Wales: "Does that mean your getting married in the near future?"

Yorktown: "Yes. In fact, we are planning on getting married in the next few months. Isn't that right honey?"

Alex: "Yup. Sure is."

David: "The married life huh? Sounds nice. Don't you think so too Wales?"

Wales: "Yeah. It sounds nice."

Alex: "What about you two? What have you been up to?"

David: "Nothing much. We spend some time together every once and a while."

Yorktown: "I see. Are you two planning on getting married too?"

Hearing that, both of them blushed.

Wales: "Uhh, w-well, you see-"

David: "Maybe in the future."

Alex: "Ohh, alright then."

Just as they were talking, their food arrived. After eating and saying their goodbyes, David and Wales decided to go to the park.

At the park...

Wales: "Wow, the color of the leaves are a beautiful orange. It's so beautiful."

David: "Not as beautiful as you..." David said under his breath.

Wales: "What was that?"

David: "Nothing. Cmon, let's go for a walk."

David and Wales then took a stroll through the park while holding hands. They then took a break and sat down on a bench underneath a large oak tree.

David: "It's sure is peaceful here. And we can get to see a beautiful view of the lake."

Wales: "Yeah..."

Wales then leaned her head on David's shoulder.

Wales: "You know, I've been thinking about what Alex and Yorktown said. A married life sounds so nice and peaceful."

David then wrapped his arm around Wales' shoulder.

David: "Wales?"

Wales: "Hmm?"

David: "I love you."

Wales: "You don't need to say that David. I already know."

David: "Yeah, I just felt like saying it."

Wales then giggled. They then sat there until it was evening.

A few months later...

Things were going well for the two of them. David got a promotion and Wales was happier than ever being with David. One day, the Admiral gave the commanders a day off, so David and Wales decided to spend time with each other. It was evening and David decided to take a walk on the beach with Wales. He wanted to ask her a very important question. Once again, David was late.

Wales: "David, where were you?"

David: "Sorry, I was finishing some stuff up. Anyway, let's get going."

Both David and Wales then went to the beach. When they got there, the sun was already setting, which gave them a wonderful view of the ocean. They then took a stroll around the beach.

Wales: "So David, why exactly did you want to go to the beach?"

David: "N-no reason." David said nervously.

(David's point of view)

Cmon David! Pull yourself together. Just ask her! David thought to himself.

Wales: "David, are you alright?"

David: "Yeah, I'm fine."

They then continued their walk on the beach.

Wales: "Alex and Yorktown's wedding is this Saturday, isn't it?"

David: "Yeah. It is."

Wales: "They're so lucky. Having a chance to live a peaceful life together..."

David: "Would you like to do the same?"

After that, both David and Wales fell silent for a moment.

Wales: "Wait, what are you talking about?" Wales asked curiously.

David: "I've been thinking, a married peaceful life sounds nice. A-and I've been wanting to be with you more recently. So Wales..."

David then got down to one of his knees and he pulled out a small box.

David: "Will you marry me?" he said as he opened the box.

Inside the box was a beautiful diamond ring. The light from the setting sun shone on it, making it shimmer. Wales couldn't believe what was happening. David just proposed to her!

Wales: "I... Yes! I will happily marry you!" she said as tears of joy filled her eyes.

David: "Really?!" David asked excitedly.

Wales nodded while wiping away her tears. David then placed the ring on Wales ring finger.

Wales: "It's beautiful. Thank you so much David."

They then leaned closer to each other and kissed as tears of joy rolled down Wales' face.

At Alex and Yorktown's wedding...

Alex and Harry: "You two are engaged?!"

David: "Well, yeah."

Harry: "When did that happen?"

David: "Not too long  ago."

Harry: "Wow. So wait, am I  the only one who hasn't been engaged yet? We have to hurry up too Lexington."

Lexington: " Oh cmon Harry! You're embarrassing us."

All of them laughed at their reaction.

A few years later...

Wales was sitting at a picnic table admiring the view. Suddenly, David came to her.

David: "Honey, where's the frisbee?"

Wales: "It's in the bag."

Suddenly, a small child came running to them.

???: "Mommy! Daddy! Let's play together."

Wales: "Sorry Annie, but mommy has to look after John. He's still sleeping."

Annie: "But I wanna play..."

David: "I know. Why don't you play with daddy?"

Annie: "OK." she said happily.

Suddenly, the cry of a baby could be heard from the stroller. Wales quickly picked him up and tried to calm him down.

Wales: "Now now, don't cry sweetie. Mommy's here."

John then stopped crying when he saw her mother.

Annie: "I want to hold John."

David: "You can carry John when your older, OK Annie?"

Annie: "OK... Daddy, where is the frisbee?"

David: "Right here. Why don't you go on ahead sweetie? I'll be right there."

Annie than ran towards the field, leaving the three.

David: "Alright then. I better get to her before she starts yelling again."

David then kissed Wales on the forehead and headed towards Annie.

Wales: "Don't forget! It's almost lunchtime."

David: "I won't." David said with a smile.

He then headed towards his daughter who was waiting for him.
