Hey guys/girls. Sorry for the lack of updates. It's because I was spending time with my family and friends last week. I'll try to update more frequently from now on. Anyway, let's get into today's chapter.

It was a hot summer day and David's shipgirls were out on a sortie. They just finished it and were heading back to base. On their way back, Akagi asked Wales something.

Akagi: "Hey Wales, can I talk to you in private once we reached the base?"

Wales: "Sure. What is it about?"

Akagi: "You'll see..." Akagi said while a creepy smile appeared on her face.

When they arrived, Enterprise and the others went to report the mission. When Wales was about to join them, Akagi pulled her away and slammed her against a wall.

Wales: " Oww! Hey Akagi, what was that for?!"

Akagi: "That's for stealing the commander away from me!"

Wales: "Wait, what are you talking about?"

Akagi: "Oh don't act dumb! You've been getting closer to the commander recently, haven't you? I'll warn you right now, the commander is mine! Anyone who tries to get between me and him will be sorry!"

Wales: "Hey! The commander doesn't belong to you! Are sure the commander even feels the same way?!"

Akagi: "Of course he does! But you keep clouding his mind!"

Wales: "Yeah, keep telling yourself that! Look I gotta go. Bye!"

Wales then got away from Akagi but before she could, she heard Akagi warning her about getting close to the commander. Naturally, Wales ignored her warning and she went to the office. When she arrived at the office, she saw David filling in some paperwork.

Wales: "Hey commander."

David: "Hey Wales. Where were you? You didn't report in with the others."

Wales: "Sorry. I was caught up in the middle of something."

David: "Oh, OK then. I have some files that need to be delivered to the Admiral. Can you deliver them to him, please?"

Wales: "Sure."

Wales then picked up the files and went to the Admiral's office. When she got there, she politely knocked on the door and asked if she could come in. A voice then replied saying that she could come in. When Wales opened the door, she saw her sister, King George V, but the admiral wasn't inside.

Wales: "Hello sister. Where is the Admiral?"

KGV: "The Admiral is at a conference at the moment."

Wales: "Oh, I see. I have some files from commander David. He asked me to give it to him."

KGV: "Oh, OK then. Just give the files to me and I'll give it to the Admiral once he comes back."

Wales: "Alright then." she said while giving the file to her sister.

KGV: "OK. So, how are things with you and commander David?" she asked curiously.

Wales: "Everything's great. I've never met anyone like him. He's so caring and kind."

KGV: "That's wonderful! I remembered when you two were dancing at the party. You looked so happy being with him. You two are the perfect together."

Wales: "Thank you sister." she said while blushing.

Wales: "Anyway, I have to go back. It was nice talking with you, sister. I'll see you later. Bye.

Wales then exited the room and went back to David's office. When she got back to the office, she saw David writing a letter.

Wales:" Hello commander. I'm back. What are you writing?"

David then quickly hid the note in his desk.

David: "Uhh, nothing."

Wales: "C' mon you can tell me."

David: "Maybe later. That reminds me, I have to finish these documents."

Wales: "Oh, OK then."

They then continued until late into the night. David left early because he had something to do, so Wales stayed behind to tidy up the office. When she was done, she left the room and went outside of the building. She then went to the docks to see if her equipment was already repaired, but on her way there, she saw David talking to someone. She couldn't see who David was talking too, so she went closer. She then saw who it was. It was Akagi. Wales then decided to hear what they were talking about. She hid behind a tree and listened to what they were saying.

Akagi: "So you came commander."

David: "Yeah. So what did you want to talk about?"

Akagi then came closer to David.

Akagi: "Commander, I love you."

David was shocked to hear this. So was Wales. She decided to keep on hearing what they were saying.

David: "Wow. I didn't know you felt that way about me Akagi..."

Akagi: "Do you feel the same way?"

David stood there for a moment until he spoke up.

David: "Akagi, I-

Suddenly, Wales accidentally stepped on a twig. This caught the attention of David and Akagi.

David: "Who's there?"

When David and Akagi weren't looking, Wales ran away from them. She then reached her room. After entering it, she locked the door and closed the windows. When she was sure that all the exits to her room are locked, she sat on her bed, thinking about what happened.

(Wales point of view)

What did the commander say to Akagi? I hope he didn't say yes. she thought to herself. The next day, Wales decided to go to the office early so that she could ask the commander how he felt about her. When she got there, she waited until David arrived. When David arrived, he was shocked to see Wales so early at the office.

David: "Uh, hey Wales. You're up early."

Wales: "Yeah. Uhh, David, there's something I'd like to ask you."

David: "Sure. What is it?"

Wales: "Do you have feelings for anyone here on this base?"

David: "Uhh, why are you asking this all of a sudden?"

Wales: "I'm just curious."

David: "Well, there is one girl that deeply care for. You could even say that I love her."

She stayed silent until curiosity made her ask again.

Wales: "What is she like?"

David: "Well, she's a strong girl with a soft side to her that she doesn't normally show to others. She's cute, smart, beautiful, and she's always looking out for me. I think that's what I love most about her."

Wales then stood there for a moment until she spoke up.

Wales: "What's her name?"

David: "It's a secret."

Wales: "C'mon. You can tell me."

David: "If I told, then it wouldn't be a secret then now would it."

Wales: "Well yes, but-"

David: "I promise that I'll tell you later, but now, we have some work to do."

Wales: "Yes commander." she said reluctantly.

What they didn't know is that when they were working, someone was talking about them.

In Akagi's room

Kaga: "Sister, what's wrong?"

Akagi: "Nothing. Everything's fine."

Kaga: "Then why are you smiling creepily like that?"

Akagi: "No reason~"

(Akagi's point of view)

I'll make the commander see that I'm the only one for him. Ahahahahaha.
