Visiting Enterprise's stern plate
On a road in the Garden State of New Jersey were a motorcycle and a car. They pulled into a memorial parking lot and parked. The motorcycle driver took her helmet off to reveal Enterprise in her Anniversary Ride skin then she put her hat on. Then from the car came out me in casual summer clothes and wearing a hat too.
Patrick: Well, here we are.
Enterprise: Where one of my parts resides.
By a library was a memorial and at this memorial was Enterprise's stern plate. One of the parts preserved.
(Time skip)
Enterprise and I were close to the stern plate now.
Patrick: While I was still learning about you, I thought that you were scrapped completely. You may be the "Lucky E" but you were not lucky enough to be saved from scrap. Then I find out that some of your parts were preserved. And one of them is your stern plate.
Enterprise: Most of us had our parts preserved thanks to some people. Most of us were scrapped in Kearny New Jersey. Two of them were me and Essex. I've visited this place a few times when I was younger still growing up with my two sisters.
Patrick: And how did it feel seeing one of your old parts?
Enterprise: I don't know. It felt like seeing an old body from a new body.
Enterprise put her hand on the stern plate and sighed before continuing.
Enterprise: When I touched it for the first time it felt like it was still a part of me like a body part.
I put my hand on the stern plate too.
Patrick: Many historic vehicles like trains, planes, and ships have most of their parts preserved in museums and memorials. You were still a tiny bit lucky that some of your parts were preserved by the people who served on you and our home country.
Enterprise: And to be brought back as a real living thing in the flesh.
I took my smartphone out then took Enterprise's picture with her stern plate then we took a picture of both of us with the stern plate.
Patrick: Just now this was the first time I've used the "Azur Lane" AR/Augmented Reality Camera.
Enterprise: Now why haven't you used it since you first started playing?
Patrick: I don't know. When Intrepid came into the game I thought about taking her picture at her museum and when I found out about your stern plate I thought about taking your picture at this memorial. And if I ever visit another museum with WWII history anytime soon, I would take pictures with some of the other ship girls.
Enterprise: Well it's better late than ever. You finally used it.
Patrick: Yeah I did.
(Later)
We pulled out of the parking lot to go back home.
