(Pearl Harbor)

True to my word I had taken Zuikaku to Pearl Harbor. When walking we were arm in arm. I was wearing a hula shirt and casual shorts while Zuikaku didn't have the white coat and still had her red dress. The first thing we did was visit some of the filming locations of the two movies "Pearl Harbor" and "Battleship" both directed by Michael Bay.

Then we went to the Pearl Harbor Memorial Museum where we visited the memorials of the ships that were sunk at Pearl Harbor, the names of the men that died, and the USS Arizona memorial. And we were at the USS Arizona memorial right now. Zuikaku began having flashbacks of launching her planes on that day when she saw the bombs and torpedos used to destroy the Battleship row on display. She even saw a model of a Japanese plane on display above. I was looking at a part of Arizona recovered on display.

Zuikaku: Feeling eased?

Patrick: a little bit... Yes.

Zuikaku: Most of the weapons that were used by me, Shokaku, and my superiors are on display. It's a surprise that they would keep them preserved in here.

Patrick: Pieces of war history have to be preserved for people to learn about the war history. Some of the ships that were sunk were left under the water and later on be turned into memorials. When they were brought back as ship girls they visited their remains and the people who served on them. When I watched the "Pearl Harbor" movie I learned more about WWII history. When I watched "Battleship" I learned about USS Missouri.

Zuikaku: You told me that you first heard of me and some of the others from Sakura Empire from the game and Anime "Kantai Collection" or "Kancolle" for short. You've been getting into the WWII history for a while now. Then you learned about more of it's history when you started playing our game and watching our Anime.

Zuikaku had a look at the ship model of Akagi.

Zuikaku: Whenever any of us sees a small model of ourselves it feels like looking at a small copy of ourselves. Some of our wrecks are still not found yet. Even my wreck hasn't been found yet.

Patrick: It's very dark at the bottom of the oceans so it would be difficult and there no one has launched a search for your wreck yet. But let's continue on.

Zuikaku: Ok.

Later on we went to the USS Missouri.

Patrick: It was a historic moment for Missouri to be moved while Michael Bay was directing and filming "Battleship" on this museum ship. It came out of retirement and defeated the aliens in the movie.

Zuikaku: Even the Sirens are aliens. But humanity was unable to defeat them in short time.

Patrick: Most Anime have depicted aliens unstoppable and after a time skip humanity finds a way to defeat them.

Zuikaku: Including movies too.

Patrick: Back to the subject. This ship was where the signing of the Japanese Instrument of Surrender was signed in Tokyo Bay ending the war. Most ships were unlucky to be preserved as museums and were sold for scrap. Even Enterprise was scrapped. She may be the Lucky E but was not lucky enough to be saved from scrap.

Zuikaku: I don't know what would of happened if I was never sunk. Would I have been scrapped or turned into a museum? But I don't have an answer.

Patrick: USS Iowa, New Jersey, Missouri, and Wisconsin were preserved because of a lot of reasons. One of them is that Missouri was the ship that ended the war and lived through the other wars then turned into a museum. I once heard that Arizona represented the beginning of WWII in America while Missouri represented the end of WWII in America.

Zuikaku: Now they are museums for people to visit and learn about war history from the stories.

It was now sunset as Zuikaku had her vessel leave Hawaii now going to the Coral Sea where the Battle of the Coral Sea took place at.

Zuikaku: It's gonna be days till we arrive at the Coral Sea. We should lay back and watch some movies. You did bring some right?

Patrick: Yes I did. I brought "Pearl Harbor", "Battleship", "War Horse", "Top Gun", "The Book Thief", "The Monuments Men", "Unbroken", "Saving Private Ryan", "We Were Soldiers", "Black Hawk Down", "American Sniper", and "Downfall".

Zuikaku: With movies we won't get bored while on our way. Now we better go inside.

Patrick: Ok, Zuikaku.

A few days went by and we reached the Coral Sea.

(Coral Sea)

Now I'm at the Coral Sea with Zuikaku after a few days of getting here. Her ship is over a coral reef where the ocean is not so deep. I'm on the flight deck sitting down on a bench underneath a large sun umbrella waiting for Zuikaku. I'm in a pair of green swim trunks and barefoot.

Patrick: She should be here any second now.

Zuikaku: I'm here now!

I turn to my right and blushed light red. Zuikaku was coming out blushing in embarrassment while wearing a two piece red bikini with a few black outlines and she was barefoot. The bikini top was attached to a choker around her neck like how her red dress was attached to a choker. I stood up and walked to her when she stopped walking to me.

Zuikaku: This is so embarrassing.

Patrick: It is. I never really felt comfortable going to beaches when being shirtless.

Zuikaku: Really?

I put my right hand on her left shoulder.

Patrick: Yes. But your bikini suits you well. Besides, no one else is out here but us.

Zuikaku smiles feeling better.

Zuikaku: You're right. No one else is out here but us to see us in our swimsuits.

Then we hug and kiss.

Zuikaku: Now where exactly would you like to dive from?

Patrick: From the front of the stern.

I take her hand then we walk to the front of the stern.

Zuikaku in mind: swimming around the coral reefs... this should clear his mind. After all we came on this vacation for some peace and quiet before the next event.

We got to the front of the stern. But we didn't let go of our hands.

Zuikaku: Together?

Patrick: Together.

With that we dive into the water together. Now we were swimming around the coral reef where there was fish and other sea life in the coral reef. Zuikaku looked more beautiful when she was swimming with me. She was also looking more innocent and cute. We got to this sandy area where we held hands and spun around then kissed. Then we surfaced back up then dived back under letting go of one another.

While swimming around the Coral Reef there were a few times we hug and kiss while swimming and a few times we surface. She used to be a ship that sunk in WWII now reborn as a beautiful human girl given a second chance in life.

It became noon as we were getting tired. So we fly back up to the vessel's flight deck because in the Anime it was shown that the ship girls can fly but no one knows how though. Then we dry ourselves off with towels.

As we finished getting dried off we sat down on the bench.

Zuikaku: The Coral Reefs in the Coral Sea were beautiful.

Patrick: So were you Zuikaku. You looked more beautiful swimming with me.

Zuikaku blushed deep red still smiling.

Zuikaku: Was I really more beautiful swimming with you? I'm flattered.

Patrick: Yes you were. You looked more innocent and cute also.

The deep red blush turned pink.

Zuikaku: Quit flattering me or I'll faint. But you are right that I looked more innocent and cute.

Zuikaku in mind: It seems to be working. He's not concerned about getting Nagato for now. We better enjoy this for the rest of the day before heading back to Azur Lane Base.

As the day went on we did other things. One of them is that we went back into the water to swim around the coral reef a few more times.

Later on we watched the sunset together on the bench but with towels covering the bench after coming out of the water one last time. She sat on the right while I sat on the left.

Patrick: I really enjoyed this time with you, Zuikaku.

Zuikaku: So did I, Patrick. I enjoyed Pearl Harbor and the Coral Sea with you. We got your mind off of the next event for now. We've just about reached the 100% love affinity for me.

Patrick: Then we better end this part with a kiss while the sun is setting next to us.

Zuikaku: Chotto matte.

Zuikaku said "Wait a minute" in Japanese then she closed her eyes then started undoing her ponytail and her hair ornament removing it then her long hair was set free and was now straight. The she opened her eyes with a smile and put her hair ornament to the side.

Zuikaku: I want to do with with you while my long hair is down straight and while standing on my flight deck. You like girls with long hair going down their backs so I'm letting my long hair down for this moment.

Patrick: Very well, Zuikaku.

I held her left hand with my right hand then walk up to the flight deck where the sun was setting then we turn to face each other while I took hold of her right hand with my left hand then we looked each other into the eyes and smiled.

Zuikaku: Watashi wa, anata o aishiteimasu Patrick-kun.

Patrick: Watashi mo anata o aishitemasu Zuikaku-chan.

Finally we kissed then wrapped our arms around each other's backs. The sun was setting next to us as we remained in the kiss longer as it became dusk.
