(Patrick's point of view)

Patrick: In today's part will be a flashback of me summoning Intrepid from the Microlayer Medley event on the first day.

Intrepid: I still remember your reaction on that day. You wanted to pull me because of your history of visiting me as a museum when you were a kid.

Patrick: Correct, Intrepid. I remember visiting you in New York City. I had a reason to pull you, and this was the reason why I wanted to pull you.

Cooper: Don't forget that you also got me.

Patrick: I know that Cooper but you're not important right now. Let's get to the flashback right away.

(Flashback)

I remember when I saw the event PV on YouTube before the event started. That night after watching it I was outside at night sitting on a bench looking through old family photos of me and my family of the times we visited Intrepid over a decade and a half ago. Looking at the photos brought me back memories.

Two voices: Patrick?

I got startled and blank eyes appeared on me then I turned to my right and saw Enterprise and Unicorn.

Patrick: Oh... Enterprise... Unicorn... What brings you out here tonight?

Enterprise: We were looking for you. We have the new event tomorrow and you need to get your rest.

Unicorn: What are those pictures in your hand big brother?

Feeling that I couldn't lie to them, I had to be honest with them.

Patrick: Just old pictures of me when I was a kid visiting Intrepid in New York City.

Enterprise: photographs of you on Intrepid when you were a kid?

Patrick: Why don't you come see for yourselves?

Enterprise and Unicorn sat next to me then I handed them the pictures. They were amazed and e toril al about seeing the pictures.

Patrick: This is one of the reasons why I want to get Intrepid. Because she was a part of my childhood while I was still growing up. She was the very first museum ship I visited and the very first war ship I've heard of.

Unicorn: Really? Was visiting Intrepid really that important to you during your childhood?

Patrick: Yes it was. Intrepid is the only ship girl I want to get during the event.

Enterprise: Then let's hope that you get her during the event.

Patrick: Don't worry, I've been stocking up on cubes and coins. So we have a higher chance at pulling her.

Unicorn: From using money?

Patrick: No, from completing daily tasks and doing a few stages.

Enterprise: So you've been working hard.

Patrick: I have. It's a good thing that I have 74 cubes in stock and 46003 coins in stock.

Enterprise: So you are easily prepared.

Patrick: I am.

???: Then you better go to sleep so you can get up for the event after maintenance on the server is over.

A voice spoke that got us shocked and blank eyes appeared in us. We turned to the right and saw Belfast underneath the lamp's light.

Belfast: It's nearly past your bedtime.

Patrick: Oh... Sorry Belfast, I was just out here looking back on my past when I visited Intrepid as a museum ship.

Belfast: Looking back on your past?

The three of us stood up and walked to Belfast then I handed her my pictures and she looked them over.

Belfast: Cute pictures of you when you were a child.

Patrick: I know. You were a museum ship too. Azur Lane players from Great Britain must have visited you before the game existed. I bet pulling you would bring them back memories of visiting you as a museum.

Belfast: There hasn't been any mentions of visiting me before Azur Lane existed. So it's unknown.

Belfast hands the pictures back to me.

Patrick: We'll be going to bed now. Big day tomorrow.

With that the 4 of us walked back to get some sleep.

(The next day).

Today was the start of the Microlayer Medley event. I was walking down the hallway to where the summoning of ship girls take place. Behind me were Enterprise and Unicorn.

Patrick in mind: I can't wait, I'm hoping to get Intrepid without running out of cubes.

At the door was Akashi waiting for me.

Akashi: I hope you're ready nya.

Patrick: Oh I am, Akashi.

Akashi: Then lets get to it nya.

Patrick: It's a good thing I've saved up a lot of cubes and coins for this.

Akashi: Yeah I agree with you nya. Now how should we start nya?

Patrick: I think I'm gonna start with 10 pulls.

Akashi: Alrighty then nya.

We started with the first 10 pulls. In one of the pulls was Cooper.

Cooper: Hey Commander, I'm Cooper! Let's join forces and fight for the future of the world! Booyah!

Patrick: Ok, off to a good start. Next pull.

Intrepid!

Patrick: YES! YES! ALRIGHT! I got Intrepid!

After pulling Intrepid I get excited that I pulled the ship girl I wanted to pull in the event. I thought it would take me days but instead I got her today on the first day of the event like she wanted me to pull her because of my past visiting her museum as a child. After overreacting, I calmed down and let Intrepid introduce herself.

Intrepid: "The Fighting I" of the Essex-class, Intrepid, is here! Commander, leave the combat missions to me! I'll bring home victory and glory!

Patrick: I already know who you are. USS Intrepid. The museum ship in New York City. I visited you a few times during my childhood with my family and I still have photographs taken of my visits. You were featured in the 2004 Disney movie "National Treasure" with Nicholas Cage. You hold planes like the F-14 fighter jet, the F-11 Tiger one of the original Blue Angels, and the Space Shuttle Enterprise in your museum.

As I kept talking about trivia about Intrepid, she seemed to blush in embarrassment from me knowing a lot about her as a museum.

Intrepid: I suppose that it's good to know that you visited me as a museum. But I was depressed that my older sister, Essex was scrapped and that most of us from the Essex-class were lucky enough to be turned into museums. Then a few decades later we were reborn as ship girls. I've seen my old ship body from outside in this body and it was weird seeing my old ship body from a human body.

Patrick: I think the next time there is an "Azur Lane" real world event Yostar, Manjuu, and Yongshi should hold it at your museum like how they held the game's 1st anniversary on USS Iowa now that they've added you to the game. But now that you're here, come with me. I'll give you a tour of the base.

Intrepid: Yes sir!

I took Intrepid's hand and took her around the base.

Akashi: ...Well... It looks like Commander Patrick got his wish of pulling Intrepid. Most players get lucky and pull the ship girl they want on the first days of events with below 100 cubes and he was one of those players.

Enterprise: He did say that he visited Intrepid in New York City when he was a kid. I guess this is also what being an American feels like when pulling an American ship girl you visited as a museum during childhood.

Unicorn: Other players who have been on other museum ships brought into the game must feel the same way that big brother feels when pulling the museum ship they've visited when they were younger.

(Docks)

On a bench at the docks where the ships were docked at, I was showing Intrepid the photos of me and my family visiting her from years ago.

Intrepid: So you were one of those who visited me as a museum.

Patrick: That's right Intrepid. In fact, you were the first warship I've heard of and the first warship museum I visited. It was the time before I heard of World War II and the Holocaust.

Intrepid: It sounds like I was an important part of your childhood.

Patrick: You were. A lot of Azur Lane players have visited you when they were younger in their childhoods and teenage years. That's what would give them motivation to want to pull you like me. And I'm sure the same can be said for other players who visited the other museum ships like Belfast and Mikasa before Azur Lane existed. They would want to pull the museum ships they visited when they were younger and would have motivation to pull them.

Intrepid: You do have a good point, Patrick. And I think it could be the same for players' families that served on the ships that were sunk and scrapped during both world wars and the other wars of the 19th century. They would want to pull the ships that their families have served on.

Patrick: I've been playing for a long time now and haven't seen anyone say that their grandfathers or great grandfathers served on any of the ships featured in Azur Lane. When I watched this video on YouTube on Hornet's wreckage being found and one of the war veterans watching the footage of Hornet being found, it made me wonder how he would react if he met Hornet again as a human back to life and if he was on Hornet's vessel again where he would revisit the stern where the anti-aircraft gun he fired to remember when he fought for America.

Intrepid: When I was born, the men that served on me witnessed my birth and watched me grow up and train to fight against the Sirens. When I summoned my vessel next to the museum it was like seeing a mirror reflection to everyone of seeing two of the same ship side by side. Would you like to see my vessel?

Patrick: Sure thing.

Intrepid stood up then walked up to the water then she made blue glowing cubes appear out of her and into the water then her vessel appeared. I stood up and walked up to get a closer look.

Intrepid: So? Still the same museum you visited?

Patrick: Well... seeing as how I'm seeing you back in service to fight against aliens like USS Missouri in "Battleship" 2012 by Michael Bay, it's an exact duplicate of the original but is still you outside of the ship in a human body that uses it as gear. No offense.

Intrepid: What you just said was not offensive. You come up with good points. I'm still the same vessel and so is my gear.

Intrepid took me up to her flight deck where her planes stood. Being on the carrier felt like I was back at the museum in New York. I could almost cry tears out. I was feeling so emotional now.

Intrepid: Back when you visited you there were rules and laws about where not to go and what not to touch. But now that I'm a human and have this vessel as my gear, feel free to explore around outside and inside.

Intrepid took me inside and showed me everything like the inside of the air control tower. It was like a tour of a museum ship with no rules only I was not in a museum ship. After about 2 hours we were back outside on the flight deck after I had a closer look at all the planes.

Intrepid: I look forward to getting along with you.

Patrick: So do I. Now we better get you and Cooper leveled up so we can get to the event stages and get the other event ships.

Intrepid: That's right, we better get Reno, Bremerton, Marblehead, Casablanca, and Bluegill.

Patrick: Right.

With that, Intrepid took my hand and showed me off the vessel then we walked back to the base holding hands.

(Flashback end)

Patrick: And that was meeting Intrepid after pulling her during the Microlayer Medley event.

Intrepid: You were really lucky to get me on the first day of the event.

Patrick: I know. The first few months of playing Azur Lane and I was lucky to get the ships I wanted to pull that were in the Anime with a few exceptions.

Intrepid: You can understand me better because you visited my museum a long time ago before Azur Lane existed.

Patrick: I can. I still have plans to make a one shot of you but I still have to come up with ideas. Plus I'm gonna be posting the chapters all at once so the audience doesn't complain about fillers.

Intrepid: You read through the comments and watched other people pull me. They compared my hair style to Hatsune Miku because of how I resemble her with my twin tails.

Patrick: You also have an arc reactor like Tony Stark/Iron Man. The people compared you and the other event ships to different superheroes.

Intrepid: I knew that. I have an arc reactor like Tony Stark/Iron Man.

Patrick: I didn't notice at first but after reading the comments and watching the videos I finally noticed.

Intrepid: Now if you excuse me I have to go meet my sisters for training.

Patrick: Go ahead.

Intrepid leaves me and exits the command office.

Patrick: Now I wonder what will be the next event? I'm hoping for a rerun of the Visitors from Another Dimension event. Because I never got to experience it as I didn't play the game yet. Or maybe another collaboration event with someone. How about an event where it has something to do with the Anime even if it ended.

All of a sudden, Zuikaku burst through the doors.

Zuikaku: PATRICK!

Patrick: Zuikaku?! What's wrong?

Zuikaku: There's gonna be a rerun of the Ink-stained Steel Sakura event!

Patrick: The Ink-stained Steel Sakura event? The event where Nagato and Mutsu were introduced?

Zuikaku: Yes! It will be an opportunity to get Nagato and Mutsu.

Patrick: That actually would be a great opportunity to get Nagato and Mutsu. They appeared in the Anime and I need to pull them. And if I do, I'm hoping that NTMafia and Yusuji039 don't swat me.

Zuikaku: Oh, don't worry Patrick. We've set up a few turrets, traps, and a blockade so that they don't arrest you. Our planes will shoot down the helicopters, our guns will penetrate their riot shields, they will never notice our traps, and they won't get past our blockade.

Patrick: I hope so. Because the FBI are just normal humans and can't get past you or any of the ship girls. But NTMafia and Yusuji039 always like countering me.

Zuikaku: This time they won't counter you. Because you have all of us.

Patrick: You're right, Zuikaku. I do have all of you. The ship girls I have in Azur Lane. Have faith in us for protecting you and keeping you safe from getting arrested.

Zuikaku kissed me in the lips then she left.

Patrick: Alright, I will have faith in you all.

I turned to the camera.

Patrick: NTMafia. Yusuji039. If I do pull Nagato and Mutsu in the next rerun event, I'd like to see you try to swat me. I dare you. But if you do, you'll be dead. My ship girls won't let you arrest me. This time I'd like to see you try. The FBI are normal humans while the ship girls are not. Now I better stock up on cubes in the daily tasks so I can have higher chances at getting Nagato and Mutsu and you better not try to swat me or else Enterprise and Belfast will kill you. This is your first warning or else you will be destroyed.

I sit up from the chair and left.
