looking to the sky in front of us,we all looked at the new Siren that had appeared from the rubble of the destroyed Stronghold,she was clearly different from the rest,she presented authority,power and fear,she was far more dangerous than anything we had seen before,Azur Lane's command knew there had to be someone leading the Sirens but we never thought it would be some this powerful

the fleet was already exhausted from fighting the Stronghold defenders but the Siren numbers had been thinned out and there was nowhere for them to call in more humanoid Sirens,leaving them with nothing but production models and whatever humanoid Siren was left alive in our attack

our situation wasn't favorable either though,even with the enemy numbers significantly reduced,we already expended a lot of our power to just get to this point and the other half of the fleet,that were most likely already on their way here from the Atlantic were one and a half oceans away from us,there was no way they would arrive on time to help

HQ doesn't know what's happening due to our distance from mainland and Siren jamming,we've got no reinforcements and boths sides were already battered but the final boss only now just appears before us

we were far from giving up though,we all came here with the idea of death in our minds,we knew the possibility,we knew the chances and we took it,everyone knew it wouldn't be easy and everyone knew pain was unavoidable but it was time to break everyone and see which of us can piece ourselves together

Q.E:Ladon,this isn't good

Nagato:that new one is far more dangerous than anything else here

Soyuz:the fleet is already battered as it is,we don't have the strength to fight a prolonged battle

Ladon:.....................

Richelieu:at this rate,we'll be wiped out,we need to do something and quickly

Yat Sen:we need something and fast,the fleet won't last against her

I couldn't pay attention to anyone but this Siren,we knew one day the leader of the Sirens would show their face and until that day came,I was prepared to fight them,my fights,my battles,my victories,my defeats,my gains,my losses,all leading up to ready Me to fight the final Siren,the one known as Arbiter

Arbiter:so these are the insects that dare challenge my Sirens and destroy my Stronghold,Observer,I want their heads on a newly rebuilt Stronghold

Observer:of course,Empress,your will shall be done

Arbiter:I expect,that I won't have to lift a finger in this fight

Tester:of course,Empress,do not bother yourself with the pitiful insects,their ends nears already

Arbiter:of course are puny ant,you were never a match against us Sirens,you merely delayed your inevitable deaths

Bismarck:Ladon,we need something-

before the Iron Blood leader could even finish what she was saying to Me,I was already gone after I set Enty down to rest a bit as I went fast enough to be unseen by the naked eyes,kicking the high ranking Sirens away in different directions and punching the Arbiter or Empress square in the face,sending her flying back as I fell back onto the water

once my feet landed however,I was immediately hit by a counter attack as I felt a large fiery force blast Me back past the fleet,it didn't take a scientist to know it was from the Arbiter as she had her cannons raised and aimed at Me,the blast knocked Me back but not off my feet as I felt the pain of the attack but not that much

Arbiter:you have some nerve,Anomaly,striking the Empress,you will pay dearly for your transgressions

Ladon:...................

Nagato:we need a plan,we-

Ladon:I need you all to handle the remaining defenders,keep them off Me

Veneto:we know where this is going and we're not letting it happen,what we need is-

Ladon:this is no time to worry about safety,no armor is tough enough to handle an Arbiter's cannon,I'll deal with her,you all keep everything else away

Enterprise:Ladon.....no.....please

Ladon:sorry Enty,.........this has to happen

Arbiter:you believe you can fight Me and win???,how foolish of you,even for an anomaly

I'm throwing away everything,my thoughts,my feelings,my objectives,my goals,my dreams,myself,all of it had to go,it was a distraction and there was no longer any room for error,I couldn't think of anything else anymore,I needed to focus,I needed to win

taking a deep breath as my eyes began to shift to a darker blood red color,I concentrated everything I had across myself,removing what wasn't needed and powering up what was needed,whatever feelings I had,I needed to chain them,whatever duty I had,I needed to shelf it,whatever it was I wanted needed to come second,if there was any chance to kill the Arbiter,it was with Me

Ladon:deactivating self imposed limiters,auxiliary functions deactivate,auxiliary abilities deactivate,auxiliary defense deactivate,auxiliary healing set to 1%,AA capabilities set to 5%,limit breakers set to full capacity,overdrive system set to maximum settings,handicap protocol deactivate-

removing all hindrance from Me,I felt all my built up power surge through my body all at once,filling the gaps of my used power and energy and over fueling Me with the necessary power I needed to fight the Arbiter,only once had I ever released my full combat abilities,removing any sense of defense from myself and pouring all my power into speed and damage,bringing Me to speeds that could cut rifts in space

using such power had it's tolls on Me but it was the only way we were getting out of here alive,a fifty-fifty chance to leave alive and a fifty-fifty chance to let the girls leave alive,if the Arbiter doesn't kill Me,I know this will

Ladon:Arbiter Kill program,engage

summoning my sword into my hand,no one could no longer see my movements,even the simplest of my steps were seen as large jumps as to the girls,the Arbiter was struck by an invisible force,sending her back even further

I reappeared to them when I stopped as I looked to them,emotionless,feelingless,I could no longer empathize with whatever they needed,I could no longer see through the beauty of the world like I always do,all there was left for Me the destruction of my enemy and then the destruction of myself,and I already came to terms with that fact

Ladon:I'll leave it to you all to keep the other enemies away from Me,I cannot feel anything but....................I know none of will show weakness in these final moments,I believe in you all,you all were always the heroes of these oceans

having given my words to the fleet,I turned my attention back to the Arbiter who was now fully ready to fight,having her rigging ready and having a spherical shield around her,multiple Sirens went to help their Empress by going after me as it didn't take Me much to realize their incoming presence

they never got close however as I looked back for a split second to see a glowing yellow arrows in their eyes as I then looked to the fleet for the same amount of time to see Enty on her feet with her bow in hand,looking ready to fight like she always is

Enterprise:YOU HEARD HIM EVERYONE,KEEP THE SIRENS AWAY FROM LADON AND THE ARBITER,WE HAVE OUR JOB AND NOTHING WILL STAND IN OUR WAY,FOR AZUR LANE!!!!!!!!!

following the leaders of Eagle Union,the Fleet of Azur Lane brought out whatever remaining strength they had left,under the effects of adrenaline and thought of victory,they lifted their riggings and moved against the Sirens,not wanting to lose and not wanting anyone to interfere with the Shipboy who led the assault

any Siren in sight was no longer anything more than a target,they were a threat to the objective and they had to be destroyed,pouring in their remaining power,Azur Lane hunted down the Siren defenders,keeping them occupied and away from Ladon and the Arbiter as the two fought with great ferocity

planes,shells and lasers controlled the skies as projectiles crossed paths and fell from the sky,both Azur Lane and the Sirens fought with the same amount of determination and ferocity as before,only thinking of completing the mission they had and nothing else,they no longer had the luxury of thinking of anything else,victory or defeat means the utter annihilation of a race

Enterprise,instead of leading the charge stayed back a lot more,still regaining her lost energy,that she desperately needed in these times,she had already exhausted herself from summoning all the aircraft she used to destroy a large portion of the Siren's AA capability and now was left with virtually almost nothing

she wanted to go to Ladon's side and help him but she understood that she'd only hold him back as she was,there was no way for her to help other than what she was doing already and though she knew it wasn't much,she knew that he would be safe from any other danger that went for him,she could only hope that he would be alright as he fought

while the fleet handled the other Sirens,Ladon was locked with the Arbiter in an intense fight as both traded blows and hits in quick succession,despite their different attributes,they were near evenly matched as Ladon's speed made it impossible to hit him while the Arbiter's armor and shield made it impossible to damage her

though both understood that it was nearly impossible to defeat each other,they continued on,knowing one slip up or one opening could mean their victory and the death of the opponent,they knew it wasn't going to be easy though as the Arbiter's armor was tough and her shield regain power almost instantly after it was hit or broken while Ladon's configuration of himself made almost Siren like,losing all his humanity and emotion in order to be the perfect weapon,letting him fight with no problems of miscalculation

and though the two found it hard to fight each other,they also knew they both perfectly countered one another as the Arbiter's numerous high powered cannons could fire consecutively in a wide area,narrowing Ladon's area of movement indefinitely while Ladon's strength,power and speed allowed him to break the Arbiter's shield with a single swing and hit her armour with multiple strike that even she couldn't keep up with

the fight was even,neither could tire out,neither could falter under the other and both had what it took to end the other,it could even be said that the fight could go on for an eternity but Ladon and the Arbiter had more things to do in that lifetime and both we're not going spend it in a locked battle

they were both fighting carefully,refusing to commit to a complete attack knowing that it drops their guard and leaves them open for a single attack that could end their life,neither was ready to end the fight but both knew that prolonged battle will only lead to their defeat,with enough time,Ladon will give in to exhaustion but remain with enough energy to still fight but in the same time,the remaining Siren defenders would be wiped out,leaving the Arbiter to fight alone against half a Azur Lane fleet

while Ladon and his opponent sped against each other at high speeds,Azur Lane was winning very slowly against the remaining Sirens who were still quite numerous in their forces,Enterprise was getting nervous about the fight,they could see Ladon and the Arbiter anymore,their fight had brought them farther than the fleet could see and it was only adding to Enterprise's growing anxiety

the carrier had regained enough strength the sustain herself and her damage to the enemy force but it wasn't enough to go help Ladon with his fight and even if she did miraculously regained her strength,she knew she wasn't strong enough to help,she didn't just need strength,she needed power if she wanted to help her beloved

as the fleet fought the Siren defenders,out of nowhere,Ladon came flying past them,quickly followed by the Arbiter as the Shipboy tumbled on the ocean surface before flipping himself back up onto his feet and countering as he landed a kick to the Arbiter's head,sending her away at high speeds before giving chase

seeing that Ladon was hit quickly surged Enterprise's worry,now knowing that their fastest fighter,someone who could cut through space to forcefully enter Mirror Sea's with their speed alone,could be hit by their opponent,it was pushing her to her mental limit,she desperately wanted to help but she knew she was too weak to fight an opponent like the Arbiter,turning to her last resort,she called on her dormant power once again,hoping it would grant her the power she needs

Enterprise(mind):listen,I know you can hear Me in there,I need your help,Ladon needs my help,the Arbiter or whatever she's called is too dangerous,I need to help him or he'll die

there was no response,inside the Carrier her Alter stood silent,pondering on her call,she heard her cries for help,she heard her pleas but she did not here her resolve,she wanted to help but as she was,she would not do much even with her Alter's power

Enterprise(mind):I know you can hear Me,I know you can,you know what's happening and I need your help,please

again,the Carrier received no response,her Alter continued to stay quiet,still seeing no point to lending her power,she had already been told to not interfere by the one Enterprise is trying to save,she had no reason to further exhaust herself,until of course,certain words put memories back into her head

Enterprise:(mind):please,if your Me,then you should know how this fight goes,you should know how it ends,you had to have failed this fight for you to have become like that,SO I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO LADON

reminded of her failure,suppressed memories came back,reminding her of her final moments with her own beloved,it was exactly like this,the fight,the arrival,the sacrifice,the failure,they had lost,they had failed and it was then that they set their course to rewrite history but even after hundreds and thousands of attempts,they failed,but now,the same scenario was in front of her,her counterpart was weak,her beloved was ready to sacrifice himself but he will lose and Azur Lane would follow suit

seeing her blunder of wasting time,the Alter turned around and raised her head,looking to the dark sky of the mind space she was in,seeing her wrongs and working to fix them

Code G:your right,I did fail,but perhaps you won't,this world is widely different then the rest,if there is anything that can be done to win,then it should be done,take what's left of my power,use it,save him,bring peace to this world

feeling the surge of power rush through her,Enterprise closed her eyes and focused on letting the power flow through her entire body,sensing the great power that suddenly appeared from nowhere,Ladon and the Arbiter stopped their fight to look over to the source as Enterprise opened her eyes to reveal their shiny gold like color as she looked over to her Sister who had sensed the energy near them and looked to see what was happening

Yorktown:Enterprise

Enterprise:can you all handle the remaining Sirens,I'm going to-

cutting her off from her words,Yorktown and Hornet pulled Enterprise into a hug before quickly letting go as they both looked at her with a smile of understanding,seeing her conviction and determination

Hornet:go,don't waste time,we can handle these remaining enemies

Yorktown:you both come back alive or your getting an earful from Me

seeing her Sisters understand her,Enterprise let the last remaining power flow through her as she began to glow a bright golden glow,when the golden glowing light dissipated,Enterprise's appearance had changed,losing her cap and turning her jacket into a scarf and cape with it's ends burned and ripped-

she stood up straight and raised her bow,pulling back it's string as a bright golden arrow formed on the bow,radiating immense power,even the Arbiter clicked her tongue seeing the sudden grow of power of another enemy as she gritted in annoyance while Ladon looked in relief that it wasn't an enemy

Enterprise:COLLAPSE!!!

firing the arrow,it flew at blinding speeds,exploding into a wide golden dome like blast in the middle of Ladon and the Empress of the Sirens and consuming them in the light as Enterprise followed them into the blast,charging head first into it as the golden dome then disappeared into air,with the 3 it consumed,nowhere to be found

shielding my eyes from the blinding light that came from the arrow Enterprise shot towards Me and the Arbiter,I waited for the light to dissipate as I doubted that even the Arbiter could see through this intense light

when the light subsided,I looked around found the terrain very different from where we were prior,there were no large rocks coming out of the water,the ruins of the destroyed stronghold was gone and both the fleet and the Siren defenders were nowhere to be seen,even stranger,the water of the ocean was completely still as there were no waves forming despite the sky looking like it was about to storm

in front of Me was the Arbiter,who seemed just as confused as I was and to over to the distance of our side was Enterprise,who looked different from before,I recognized the clothing and the style of her Alter but i couldn't figure out what she did to suddenly have gained this appearance as I sensed no change in her,even with her eyes glowing a bright Siren like gold color,I could clearly tell that it was the Enterprise I knew

Ladon:Enterprise

Arbiter:insect,what did you do

Enterprise:I collapsed the space in the area of the blast of my arrow,being in the blast zone sent us here,a completely empty replica,there is no where for you to run

Arbiter:foolish insect,do you not know who I am

Enterprise:it doesn't matter what kind of portal you summon or how strong it is,you won't get out of here because there is no where for you to go

Ladon:what did you do

Enterprise:I removed us from our reality

Arbiter:fool,that means there is no where for you to go as well

Enterprise:I don't need to go anywhere,both of you don't either,we're right where we need to be,so let's finish what you Siren started

raising her bow,Enterprise pulled back the string and released it,firing multiple arrows at the Arbiter who quickly raised her shield to block the attack,before the arrows could reach the shields however,I quickly acted and broke the shield,just in time for the arrows to make contact and hit her armor,the arrows stuck and then exploded as the shield came back,containing the blast inside the shield and surrounding the Arbiter in smoke as Enterprise went to my side

opening small holes for the smoke to vent out of,the Arbiter looked at the two of us with a pissed off expression as she raised her cannons and readied her barrage,seeing this,Me and Enterprise quickly split up into separate directions with Me disappearing in a flash and Enterprise summoning a plane to ride on

firing her barrage at the us,the area was quickly filled with scattered laser shots that hit everything but the two us as were moving quickly to avoid being hit,to the 3 of us,all hits were fatal,we all packed enough power to one hit kill each other and we had the energy to sustain it for virtually forever,one wrong move meant our end and now I had to factor in Enterprise into my movements

prior,I thought of her help as a liability,knowing she had nowhere enough power to deal any damage but seeing her with Alter's strength and power,she proved more than helpful as the Arbiter's attacks didn't focus on either of us and with her here,both of us could make opening for the other to strike

it still wasn't going to be easy though,the Arbiter's shields returned too quickly,giving us no time to use the opening to strike,her amour was also tougher than any armour we've dealt with,it was new levels of annoying toughness and it wasn't on our side,lastly,her cannons were all high caliber and capable of rapid fire,meaning she could litter the area with shots and just hope to hit us with little effort

the only upside was that her AA capability was not stellar,meaning that Enterprise was relatively safe in the air as long as I provided cover,distractions and assistance when needed,even then though,her cannons were fast and strong enough to considered AA guns seeing as they could light the sky up with lasers and shred through groups of aircraft

the numbers advantage was with us though as it was two against one,I avoided the brunt of the enemy fire to give Enterprise a relative safe chance to give Me an opening,I moved around sporadically,making no pattern in movement for the Arbiter to use as she continued to randomly fire her cannons

firing more shots and landing another strike on the Arbiter's shield and breaking it,I moved in quickly to get a strike on the Arbiter but was quickly stopped as she quickly pointed all her cannons to me as soon as I got close,making Me stop and giving her enough time to get her shield back up as I backed off,right before she fired a full salvo where I was standing prior

Enterprise didn't let up her attacks though as she continued her own barrage of arrow fire,that was constantly breaking the Arbiter's shield as I got multiple opportunities to end the fight but couldn't as I couldn't fully commit to the attack,knowing the risk I could be in if I commit to my attack

both Me and Enterprise promised to not voluntarily give up our lives for the sake of compromise but seeing Me miss so many opportunities to end the battle,I was starting to believe that it wasn't possible for the both of us to get out of here together and I was sure from her expression of annoyance that she was realizing the same thing

this was no a battle of attrition,it was all up to who would give in first and at the pace we were going and knowing the Siren didn't tire,it was surely going to be us,there was no denying the fact that prolonging the battle any longer would only result in our defeat,so coming to the conclusion,I pulled back from my offensive to catch my breath and talk to Enterprise as she realized my pull back and followed

Ladon:Enty

Enterprise:we're not making any progress,we're just tiring ourselves out

Ladon:I know,we need to approach this differently

Enterprise:what else is there to try

Arbiter:there is nothing left for you,this is your end

Ladon:I need you to collapse the space around her in a large area like before,don't break the space though,just weaken it

Enterprise:what are you going to do

Ladon:hit her with everything I've got

preparing myself to attack,i got into a stane to make a quick dash forwards as Enterprise followed suit with my request and loaded in a energy arrow to weaken the space around the Arbiter so I could make my move

Enterprise fired the arrow,hitting the Arbiter's shield and breaking it as the arrow's light expanded like before into a dome like area before the light disappeared,the moment the light fully dissipated,I made my move as I closed the distance between Me and the Arbiter in a single leap breaking her shield against and going past her

I then used my speed to move around her,constantly striking her shield from every direction as I continued to build up more speed,combined with the weakened space I was in,my speed reached the same level as when I tore through into the Mirror Sea as it started to break the space around us and create rifts around at an alarming rate

noticing the rifts round her,the Arbiter looked slightly worried before I broke through her shield and managed to land a punch to her face,sending her into the rifts as I followed after her into the rift,most likely alarming Enterprise greatly

I doubt her worry lasted though as both Me and the Arbiter came out through different rifts as our paths crossed,letting Me hit her again at high speed,this time though,it was quite easy to land a hit as she had no shield protecting her,which made my hunch about the rifts correct

passing through one most likely drained energy based weapons or machines or even external power sources,which explained why it was so easy to get to Enterprise back in the Arctic when she collapsed the Sea back there

repeatedly going through the rifts and exiting through another and going back in,my speed built up rapidly and continuously drained the Arbiter's shield of power,letting Me land hit after hit on her and do significant amounts of damage

as I landed hits on her and passed through rifts,my speed continued to build up,resulting in more and more rifts to appear which Me and Arbiter could go into and come out from,it couldn't last forever though as the space in the area strengthened itself again and closed the rifts as Me and the Arbiter exited one as I had my sword ready to land the final blow

it didn't land though as the Arbiter blocked my strike with her cannons before pushing Me away as Enterprise,now having a clear view of her opponent again started to fire her shots again to keep up the pressure as I reoriented myself and charged back in while the Arbiter got her shield back up and countered attack with her scattered shots again

despite my numerous landed hits,it didn't look like I did much against the Arbiter as it looked like she only slowed down slightly and no more,I had thought my idea would be good enough to take her down but I was out of tricks to use,the only idea left was to fully commit to a strike and end the battle,so I pulled back and had Enty follow,so i could tell her of the decision that had to be made

Ladon:Enty

Enterprise:there has to be another way

Ladon:we're out of options and ideas,you have to come to terms,we can't both get out

Enterprise:never,I refuse,we're both getting out-

Ladon:ENTY,it's.ok,I know you're scared of losing Me but it's either one of us or both of us

Enterprise:I'D RATHER DIE WITH YOU THAN SEE YOU DIE BY MY SIDE!!!

Ladon:Enty,everything is going to be alright,we've shared our time together,it's all or nothing,I'm going to take her down,if I fail,I'll at least slow her down,so you better finish her off

seeing tears build up in her eyes,knowing I was right,Enterprise wiped her tears away with her sleeve as she looked at Me,determined to get us both out alive

Enterprise:promise Me,you won't die

Ladon:............................

Ladon(mind):I'm sorry,Enty,......................you know I can't promise that

turning my look back to the Arbiter with a look of determination as my response to her request,she looked back to the enemy as well with the same look of determination on her face,the both wanting to finish this war in victory

Ladon:and Enty

Enterprise:what is it

Ladon:if I do die,don't cry in front of Me,at least wait for my eyes to close,I don't want my last sight of you to have a single tear in it

charging forward and looking to end the fight,I disregarded everything around Me,any other factor that wasn't the Arbiter was set to the side for Me not to care about,I disregarded any warning Enty yelled at Me,knowing I probably wasn't making it out alive,I knew she would hate Me,I knew she wouldn't forgive Me for this but as long as I lived,I was going to make sure that she would live long enough to do those things

closing the distance between Me and the Arbiter,I went to slice her in half from the side but she blocked with her rigging,Enterprise tried to go in to assist Me but was cut off when the Arbiter expanded her shield with Me still inside and Enterprise still outside

I was trapped inside and Enterprise was trapped outside,with the shield around Me,my room to move was extremely limited while the Arbiter had perfect range on every inch of the dome,she knew I was at my weakest with little room to move in but with her little move,she stopped Enterprise from interfering with Me

Arbiter:what now,Anomaly,your alone in here with Me,nowhere to run,nowhere to hide,you will meet your end,here and now

Ladon:..............................thank you

Arbiter:huh

I looked back,turning to look at Enterprise who was desperately trying to break in,firing her arrows dropping her aircraft bombs,smashing her fist against the shield,I could see the tears in her eyes,she thought she had failed,I knew that was what she was thinking as I looked her mouth open wide,most likely yelling at Me,which did no good as I couldn't hear past the shield as I looked back to the Arbiter

Ladon:I thank you for keeping her outside,this way,no one could stop Me

Arbiter:fool,you could not beat Me alone,you could not beat Me together,what makes you believe that has changed

Ladon:it's simple,I couldn't come to terms with myself,I couldn't bare to see her alone,so I wanted to live to be with her,but I see now,that's not possible

Arbiter:so you have accepted your inevitable death,insect

Ladon:yeah,I may not be able to make it out,but I'll make sure she does with your head in hand

resuming my assault against the Arbiter,I quickly lifted my sword and continued forward with a barrage of strike against her,without her shield protecting her,she was basically defenseless against Me,she was nowhere fast enough to keep up with my attacks but she was durable and tough enough to brush them off

it was all or nothing for Me now,Enty needed to get the final blow because I know I wouldn't be able to and the only way to do that was to keep her still,which only meant I needed to hold her in place,which I already knew was a death sentence,yet,it needed to be done

making an opening for myself,I grabbed the appendages of the Arbiter's rigging,pulling them into a single clump to make sure none of them would be able to move,nicely,it also place her cannons into an awkward position and with my strength beyond comparison,I easily held her in place

unfortunately,despite my efforts,the Arbiter had one free hand left to use and she used it well,summoning a lance into her hand as she plunged it into and straight through Me

AN:don't mind the shield

luckily,due to her awkward position,she barely missed my chest,hitting right below it on my right side but still severely injuring Me,I could feel Enty's unrivaled anger and fury,she was just waiting to get her hands on the Arbiter's head and I would make sure she would

pushing through the pain,I pulled the Arbiter even closer,dragging her close that our bodies were pretty much touching,elbowing her head to buy Me time,I stepped on her thighs to boost Me,letting Me reach over and behind her as I grabbed a glowing triangular device from her back and ripped it off her

I then crushed it with my hands,thankfully making the shield disappear as resummoned my sword into my hand after dropping it prior as I stabbed it into Arbiter's chest,keeping her in place and disorienting her with the pain,giving Enty a clear shot as the shield fully disappeared and as she raised her bow and readied,probably the strongest arrow she's shot

Ladon:ENTY,NOW

Enterprise:I'LL KILL YOU

firing the arrow,it instantly turned it a large and wide beam of golden light,destroying everything in its path,directly in collision with the Arbiter and just barely to the side that it wouldn't hit Me,the Arbiter was vaporized with the attack,with no remains left other than small pieces of her rigging that I was holding onto

once the light was gone we stood still,catching our breath and looking to confirm that she was truly dead,after a few moments,there was nothing,she was gone for good,we had won

immediately going to Me,Enty sped towards Me but was cut off as a rift opened in front of her,soon after,multiple rifts began opening around us,signifying that this space was collapsing and falling apart

Enterprise:Ladon!!!!

Ladon:relax........Enty,this space is.............collapsing,I'll see you on the other side

giving her some reassuring words,Enty stayed where she was and waited for the space to collapse on us,to bring us back to the real world

erupting from thin air,the Azur Lane fleet was taken by surprise when a dome of golden light similar to the one that appeared before Enterprise,Ladon and the Siren Empress suddenly vanished

the fleet had won against the Siren defenders and didn't let a single one escape,because of that however,they had to patiently wait for the return of the two missing Eagle Union leaders,with the appearance of the dome of light however,their wait came to a stop as the light dissipated to reveal Enterprise at the center of it

she had returned to her normal appearance but was missing her hat as she quickly looked around the area,finding herself back in the real world but missing her partner in love and in victory

before she could go to find him however,she was quickly met with a relief filled hug from her Sisters who were beyond worried for her,fighting the Empress of the Sirens,Enterprise was beyond glad to see her Sister well and ok but she needed to find,Ladon

he was fatally injured and her needed help,Laffey who had been waiting for her Brother's return,immediately caught wind that something was wrong seeing as her Brother was nowhere to be seen,wanting answers like the caring little Sister she was,she approached Enterprise,wanting answers to her questions

Laffey:where is Brother,Laffey does not see him

Enterprise:right!!,we need to find him!!!,he's fatally injured,he needs help,he-

cut off by the sound of coughing,everyone turned to the source to see an arm moving behind a rock,the arm threw away a black and red lance before seemingly going limp,worried about what it was,the fleet was quick to go over to it

surfing to the source of the cough and the arm,the girls found the source of it,being Ladon,who was sat up against a rock,bleeding out from his wound and his mouth as his breathing heavily indicated his struggle for air

the girls looked in terror,horror,pity and sorrow for the sight,that they were seeing as Ladon looked over to them,seeing their worried and scared faces,his instinctive nature to help immediately make him smile at them,reassuring them that he was fine when they clearly knew he was not as he looked away knowing he attempts were not going to work

Laffey and Enterprise kneeled down to his level,checking his injuries and his condition as Ladon used his strength to hold both of their arms,stopping them as he looked to his allies in the fleet,needing a moment with the two

Ladon:girls,I know it........looks bad,can you all...............give Me some time with the two

understanding his request as it could be his last,the fleet that was not Enterprise and Laffey surfed away to a good distance,not wanting to eavesdrop on the final talk between the three,who were deeply connected to each other

Ladon,knowing his words would not hit any harder emotionally than now prepared the two for his final message,pulling them into a caring embrace as the,unable to contain the flowing emotion inside them began to quicky shed tears like a river down a mountain

Ladon:listen to Me...........both of you,I know your scared...............frankly I am too.......but my time has come again

Enterprise:no*sniffle*we can save you,we-

Ladon:no base in range................no repair ship.................in sight and even with my..........advance healing...............it still wouldn't be enough

Laffey:Brother *sniffle* *sniffle* don't leave,Laffey,you*sniffle*promised,Laffey,you wouldn't *sniffle* leave

Ladon:I know,I promised you but..............I can't keep that anymore,I'm sorry

Enterprise:we can find a way,if you-

Ladon:listen close..............both of you,I was not supposed to come back,I knew this............Sis was never supposed to come find Me..................I gave the necklace so she would always be safe...................I died along ago,that should've been it...............but I was brought back and I thought I had a chance...................I got to meet you,Enty.I got to see you again,Sis,I got to meet everyone in Azur Lane,all my friends.............all together

Enterprise:then live!!!! *sniffle* *sniffle* you can live with everyone,you *sniffle* can stay,you don't have to-

Ladon:we both know I can't,I want this to end the way it started,with everyone together in peace and with Me lost in time

Laffey:Brother,Brother *sniffle* *sniffle* *sniffle*Brother!!!!!!

drawing his last strength and his final breath,Ladon lifted his arms to wipe away Laffey and Enterprise's tears away,refusing to see their tears in their final moments

Ladon:he...........he,before I go,everything I own is between the both of you.....................if you need a place to stay,the mansion is always for you

releasing all his remaining strength into nowhere,Ladon closed his and took his final breath,his arms went limp,his expression went calm and content and he became still,seeing him pass,the two white haired shipgirls let out all there was that was bottled up inside

seeing as the talk had passed,the fleet returned to their allies's side,Yorktown and Hornet embraced Enterprise from behind,comforting her from the loss of her beloved while Laffey's sisters,her entire class,pulled her into a group hug,,consoling her for the loss of her dear Brother for the second time

the fleet went into silence,there was nothing for them to say,there was nothing they could say,all they could do was stand in silence as the cries of a Destroyer and a Carrier filled the area,their cries sounded to be heard by only those around as they grieved for the death of a loved one

uproar and panic was inevitable in the fleet and between the Nations of the world but they could all sleep easy,knowing the Sirens,the biggest threat to humanity was gone,thanks to the sacrifice,of a dear friend
