Laffey's POV

it has been a while since Laffey had left the base,Laffey was sailing with a large force of ships with Enterprise because Laffey had to go,talk with the Vichya Dominion's leader,Jean Bart,everyone,including Laffey was on Brother's girlfriend's Carrier as we all waited to arrive at the Vichya Dominion base,in the meanwhile,Laffey was sitting down against,Enterprise's bridge while everyone talked about,how they would fight the Vichya Dominion,if they attacked us

Cleveland:ok,so the gist of the plan is,Cruisers will stay at the front and advance on them while Enterprise,Alabama and Massachusetts,provide cover from long range,Laffey will follow us and keep pressure on them with her torpedoes

Enterprise:if that fails,everyone is to fall back and let us bombard them,softening them up for an attack

as Enterprise said that,a woman with orange eyes,tanned skin and white hair,wearing nothing but a bra,that barely covered her chest,very short shorts and a black jacket,stepped forward,it was my faction's Battleship,Massachusetts

Massachusetts:do not underestimate Jean Bart,she is a worthy foe,despite her incomplete hull

Enterprise:we know,that's why if all else fails,I'll launch a full air raid against them

Denver:I thought we were supposed to talk and negotiate with them

Montpelier:I had the same thought

Enterprise:this is only if we have to fight them,I just hope,it won't have to come to it

Cleveland:the minor factions haven't been informed yet about the war ending,it should be expected,that we will have some resistance from them

then another woman stepped up from the group,she had red eyes  and white hair,tied into twintails and tanned skin,like Massachusetts,she wore a sports bra and shorts with a white and teal jacket over her shoulders,it was one of Massachusetts's sisters,Battleship Alabama

Alabama:if they want a fight,then they'll get a fight for their lives

Enterprise:Alabama,no,we're here to tell them about the ending of the war and to bring them back to base,we should avoid fighting with them at all cost

Cleveland:and if they really don't want to go with us

Montpelier:there is no guarantee,that they'll believe us

Laffey:Vichya Dominion will go,no matter what

everyone looked at Laffey while Laffey tried to adjust her position for maximum comfortability,so Laffey could sleep while waiting

Alabama:how are you sure,Laffey

Laffey:Brother sent Laffey with everyone for a reason,Laffey is here to make sure,Vichya Dominion will come

Massachusetts:sure but,how can you be sure,they'll come back with us

Laffey:Laffey knows the Vichya Dominion,Vichya Dominion knows Laffey,so Laffey can talk with Jean Bart

Enterprise:I'm not so sure about this Laffey

Laffey:trust Laffey,Laffey can handle it,Vichya Dominion can not beat Laffey

everyone stared at Laffey as Laffey turned away from them and stood up,Laffey looked around,Enterprise's Carrier for a good spot to sleep at but there was few places for Laffey to sleep in,I walked away from the bridge and went to one of the planes,that were locked on the Carrier,Laffey opened the cockpit to one of them and jumped in,then closed the door as Laffey settles into the seat but it was not comfortable for Laffey to sleep in

Laffey jumped out the planes and looked around again but there was no place for Laffey to sleep,so Laffey left everyone outside and went inside of Enterprise's bridge,Laffey walked around the inside and found herself in the main control tower,Laffey saw a very comfortable looking seat and went on sit on it as Laffey went to the chair,Laffey sat on the chair and immediately sunk into the comfortableness of the seat,it was most likely the seat,Enterprise sits in when she's alone on her ship,it was very comfortable,so Laffey could sleep well on this seat but something caught Laffey's eye

on one of the control panels,there was a small book,that laid still on the controls,it had a leather cover and a golden colored binding and the cover said "Diary" in a golden and fancy looking penmanship,Laffey's curiosity was peaked,so Laffey sat up and grabbed the book,Laffey then opened the book and saw the owners name on the first page,the diary belonged to Enterprise,so Laffey immediately contemplated,if she should continue to look at the book

after a few moments,Laffey decided to continue to look at the book,this book had all of Enterprises thoughts,since the beginning of the war with Crimson Axis,from day one,all the way up to the end of the war,Laffey skipped some pages and went to the date,of when Brother came back from the dead,her diary said,that she was very suspicious of him at first but there were a number of people who knew him,so he seemed to be trusted by many,it said that Brothers skills were highly advance to be a new ship but his rigging was to new to be a old ship either,it even described brother as some kind of hidden factor in the war

as Laffey looked through more pages,Laffey found the first page,that told Enterprises feelings about Brother,she was very unsure of her feelings at first,but as days went on,she got more comfortable around him and started to like him more,Brother kept helping Enterprise,so it was expected,that she would like him,plus Brother was the best Brother,he is the best and no one can beat him,so of course a lot of people like him

Laffey continued to look through the diary as Laffey continued to read about Enterprises feelings for Brother,ever since he came back to life,Enterprises diary was only filled about him and the war,she really,really liked Brother and this book was proof of it as it was VERY VERY detailed,it told things about,what they did together,what they talk about,it even say things about,what they did during their secret vacation

everything about their relationship was here,as Laffey thought about it,Brother hasn't spent much time with Laffey,since Brother got together with Enterprise,Laffey wants to spend more time with Brother,so Laffey will spend more time with him after this but for now,Laffey set down the book,back on the controls and curled up into a ball as Laffey turns to her side and closes her eyes,Laffey quickly lost consciousness as Laffey went to sleep on the seat

Enterprise's POV

I opened the door to the main control tower as I looked around for Laffey,we had been looking for her for a while now,since Cleveland realized,that she was gone from her spot a while ago,Alabama and Massachusetts checked the water as she may have fallen off,like some occasions,Cleveland and her sisters went to check,below the deck while I checked the main bridge

I went in and looked around the room and saw nothing but the usual equipment inside,I was going to leave but I saw a foot on my chair from the corner of my eye,I went over to my chair and saw,laffey,curled up into a ball and sleeping soundly on my chair as she lightly snored,I looked over to the controls and saw my diary,laying there,I quickly picked it up and tucked it away in my jacket as I really shouldn't be leaving such a thing around,while there are people on my ship

I looked back at Laffey as she continued to peacefully sleep,she was cute as she slept in my chair as it was easy to see why,Ladon is so caring for her,I picked her up like a child and moved her to somewhere more comfortable as I brought her to my room in my ship,that was just to the side of my control room,it wasn't anything special,there was a bed,a closet,a desk,a chair,a lamp,a light and nothing more,I laid Laffey down on my bed as she seemed to relax even more than she had as she turned on her side,it was a mystery to everyone,as to how Laffey could sleep for such a long period of time yet still feel sleepy all the time,but no one complained as it Laffey who she is

I instinctively patted her head to help sleep even more as she seemed to like it as a small smile grew on her face,I honestly felt like Ladon,doing this kinda thing for Laffey but it just felt right to do as I comforted Laffey in her sleep,we were still about 6-10 minutes away from the Vichya Dominion base,so Laffey can get some pretty good sleep before we arrive

I,for some miraculous reason,was very tempted to sleep as well as just by looking at Laffey's peaceful sleeping face was enough to make Me feel tired,how Ladon dealt with this is a miracle yet he does it like any other day in his life

I grabbed the chair,that was next to my desk and sat down next to Laffey as I continued to pat her head,my consciousness waned as I continued to comfort Laffey in her sleep,it was so relaxing,yet I was unable to explain why,it was like,Laffey herself just make people want to sleep with her,I question,even Ladon's fortitude for this cuz no matter what he does,he never seems tired

after a little bit,I had sunk into my chair,even if it was not comfortable as the mere aura around Laffey was making Me tired,but that was when I heard footsteps in the room next to ours,someone was in my bridge and seemed like it was multiple people,walking around the room,voices called my name,from the other room as I recognized it to be Cleveland and her Sisters,along with my Sister,who seemed to be with them

I called them out told them,that I was in the next room as the door to my room opened,revealing the whole Cleveland Class and both my Sisters

Cleveland:Enterprise,so this is where you've been

Yorktown:we've been looking for you,you know

Hornet:so much for keeping our eyes open for any enemies,you look like,you can barely stay awake

Enterprise:sorry,I found Laffey sleeping on my chair in my bridge and decided to take her here,so she can sleep better,along the way,I started feeling sleepy as well,I don't really know why either

Montpelier:Laffey's ultimate ability,affects even Enterprise

Denver:scary

Yorktown:you should wake her up you know,we'll reach the Vichya Dominion base in a few more minutes

Enterprise:that was my thought too but bringing her here just felt-,..............right

Cleveland:I mean,I'm not one to say your wrong,Laffey's strong but her sleepiness hinders her,giving her good sleep will help all of us if we have to fight Vichya Dominion

Enterprise:on that note,where are Alabama and Massachusetts 

Hornet:those 2 are keeping an eye out for any hostile in the area,rig on and everything

Yorktown:their being very cautious if I have to say

Columbia:if what Ms.Massachusetts said about Jean Bart is true,then it makes sense,that they'd been on their guard

Enterprise:she's a force to be reckoned with,that much is known but Vichya Dominion are few in numbers,so we only need to suppress and convince them

Hornet:*yawn*yah,shouldn't be too hard

Cleveland:as long as we stick to the plan,we'll be fine,we're already ways ahead of them,by just having Carriers

Yorktown:*yawn*even so,we cannot underestimate them

Denver:*yawn*Sis,I feel sleepy

Montpelier:*yawn*same here

Enterprise:it's Laffey,I don't know how but she make everyone feel sleepy

Cleveland:if this is some kind of special ability she has,then I can see*yawn*why Ladon would send her

Hornet:is this his plan all along*yawn*

Yorktown:*yawn*I'm not sure,I'm too sleepy to tell,what he's thinking about right now

one by one,they all started falling asleep as they knelt down and laid their heads on the side of the bed,Cleveland even climbed onto the bed and laid down next to Laffey with Montpelier,following behind her while Denver,Columbia,Yorktown and Hornet,got on their knees and laid their heads down on the side of the bed as they fell asleep,one by one,before I fell to the incredible sleeping powers of Laffey,I radioed Massachusetts and Alabama,to let them know,that were going,to sleep for a bit and to keep watch and alert us about any imminent danger,that might show up,after giving them the word,I got off the radio and let my self sink into the tiredness as I close my eyes,soon I found myself,fully asleep on my chair

after a while,everyone except Laffey woke up from their peaceful slumber as well quickly left the bridge and went to my deck,Alabama and Massachusetts were keeping guard of the area since we were already in Vichya Dominion waters,in the distance,the base of the Vichya Dominion was seeable from our position as I launch a recon plane,to scout their readiness

to our dismay,their defenses were up and all Vichya Dominion ships were already on the water with their rigs on while production model ships of both normal and Siren ships,stood ready with their guns trained on us,if we wanted to talk,then I'm afraid they've chosen the method,that involved our guns

Massachusetts:doesn't look like Jean wants to talk

Enterprise:I was afraid this would be the case,we need to negotiate with them but if their going to be persistent in fighting,then we have no choice 

Cleveland:let's try to contact them first,we shouldn't fight if we don't have to

Yorktown:I agree,perhaps this all just a misunderstanding 

Enterprise:let's see then

I open up my radio and contact the leader of the Vichya Dominion as I await a response,after a few moments,the other side picked up as I looked at the Vichya Dominion's forces,standing on the water,I could see a woman with blonde hair,tied into ponytail and red eyes,she wore a black and red vest with golden highlights and a black belt around her waist with brown shorts

Enterprise:Jean Bart of Vichya Dominion

Jean:Enterprise of Eagle Union,what do you Azur Lane scum want

Enterprise:listen we just want to talk,that's it,we don't have to fight,we-

Jean:oh we can talk,once you scum are at the bottom of the sea,you believe,you can enter our waters and declare,that you just want to talk,we the Templars of the Vichya Dominion,will not let foreign dirt soil our waters,we'll see you at the sea floor by the end of this

she immediately dropped the call as I sighed in disappointment,it was clear to everyone,what the sigh was from a they all looked to our opponents 

Massachusetts:so she refuses the peaceful way

Alabama:I was kind of hoping for that

Enterprise:she refuses to talk peacefully,so we're moving to Plan B,everyone,summons your rigs,I'm going stay behind,since Laffey is still asleep and won't wake up

Cleveland:understood,we'll take the front

Massachusetts:we'll provide cover for you,so don't worry about advancing

Yorktown:we'll give you as much air cover as we can and be careful

Cleveland:understood

the 4 Cruisers,my Sisters and the 2 Battleships summoned their rigs and jumped down onto the water while I brought out my planes and launched them into the sky,I launched my Helldivers and my Corsairs along with my Avengers as a full attack commenced,Massachusetts and Alabama begun their bombardment as they fire salvos into the sky,making shells rain from above,the Vichya Dominion evaded and split up as they fired back with their own salvos and shells

Massachusetts immediately went after Jean Bart as the 2 had a unfinished fight from before and both of them wanted to finish,what they started,Cleveland and her Sisters engaged 2 of the Heavy Cruisers and a Destroyer as both sides traded shots with each other,it would be a even fight but the Destroyer and one of the Heavy Cruisers brought out their weapons,being a Spear and a giant Battle Axe,Yorktown and Hornet were launching aircraft but were engaged by a lone destroyer with white hair,carrying a Rapier

my aircraft dropped their payload over the enemies in front of us as bombs fell all over the battlefield,explosions rocked the ocean,creating large waves,making it hard for everyone to move but nonetheless,shots were fired as everyone evaded each others attacks,Alabama was uncontested as she bombarded the production models,who were taking shots at everyone while they fought,Massachusetts was locked in a duel to the death with Jean Bart as both fired shots and missed,they were swerving and dodging as both were unable to land a single hit on each other

on the other side of the Battlefield,Cleveland and her Sister were fighting of the 2 Heavy Cruisers and one of the Destroyers as Montpelier,dodged a overhead swing from the heavy Cruiser,holding the Giant Axe,she retaliated and landed a direct blow to the stomach with a few shells as it knocked her opponent back but she immediately paid for it as she was hit with about 2 torpedoes from the Destroyer,she was a small girl with light pink hair as she charged at Montpelier with her spear,she would have stabbed her but was cut off as she was knocked back by an explosion from one of Yorktown's bombs

my Sisters were launching aircraft while running away from the white haired Destroyer as they assisted everyone on the field,the chasing Destroyer was then cut off when she backed off to dodge a salvo from Alabama,then dodged a few bombs from my Helldivers as Yorktown and Hornet got as much distance as they could,we all launched our planes and as aircraft filled the sky like any other battle

a unimaginable amount of bombs fell from the sky as 3 airstrikes worth of bombs from 3 Carriers each,dropped on the enemy positions,the Vichya Dominion scattered while firing random shots at anyone they could see,as they regrouped at the center of their destroyed production models,courtesy of Alabama as said ship fired more salvo at the enemy,only for her shots to be met by Jean Bart's own salvo,both salvos collided and exploded in the air,creating a massive screen of smoke,rendering Cleveland and her Sisters vision useless,the smoke was so thick,that we couldn't see through it

suddenly shells flew out of the smoke and hit Cleveland and her Sisters,destroying 1-2 of their cannons each,another salvo of shells came from the smoke but this time hit Hornet's flight deck,punching hole through it and rendering it unusable,Massachusetts fired her salvo into the sky in retaliation as the shells fell back down to the water like meteors on the enemy,when the smoke cleared,it revealed that both Heavy Cruisers were damaged with 2 of their cannons each,broken

at this point our vanguard was at risk of sinkingwhile theirs was still combat capable,there was no way 3 Carriers and 2 Battleships could win this on their own,let alone with one Carrier,having a broken flight deck,despite that,Alabama and Massachusetts fired their shots at the enemy as shells flew through the air again,Vichya Dominion dodges the attack but doesn't break their formation

then I realized something fatal,as I looked at the Vichya Dominion,I realized,that not all of them were here,they were missing a Battlecruiser,a Cruiser and a Destroyer,I saw Jean Bart smirk as I my Carrier started to shake,we all look behnd my Carrier and saw the effects of a few explosions,shells flew above Me,barely missing my Carrier as I saw the missing ships behind us,they fired again and hit my carrier once as Alabama retailiated and fired at them,they split up as they dodge the incoming shells ,I didn't give them breathing room as I immediately launch my planes into the air again,my bombers dropped their payload on top of them as they continued to evade our attacks all the while,the Vichya Dominion forces,we've been fighting before satrted to fire at us but quickly halted as Massachusetts bombarded them while Cleveland and her Sisters fired shots with their remaining cannons

after a while,all the Vichya Dominion ships regrouped and got into a formation,protecting their Battlecruiser and Jean Bart at all costs,at this rate,we would lose the fight to them,without a proper vanguard to protect us,there was little we could do,in terms of defending ourselves,Alabama was our best bet,when it came to close range defense now,since she at least trained with a weapon but one Battleship could only do so much

then Vichya Dominion fired a full barrage at us as a lot of shells soared through the air,threatening to finish of our Cruisers and cripple us,but it never happened,before the shells could even get close,I heard loud gun fire to my side,startling Me as I saw a uncountable amount of shells fly by Me and intercept the salvo's,it was like hailstorm of bullets as I turned around to see Laffey,standing to my side with her rig on

to be completely honest,I had forgotten,that she was here due to the fight,she looked ready to fight as her usual sleepy face was swapped with a neutral to slightly annoyed look,she jumped down from my Carrier with great force as she landed in front of Cleveland and her Sisters,Jean Bart's previous smirk and confidence was quickly overtaken by a fearful expression as she look at Laffey,hey eyes were trembling as Laffey satrted to walk towards them,the rest of Vichya Dominion was just surprised or neutral about seeing Laffey but Jean Bart was completely frozen in place,but it was quickly changed at she sritted her teeth and fired at Laffey,the shells flew right by Laffey,just passing her head,Laffey showed no fear as she continued to walk towards the much bigger ship,Jean Bart fired another 3 times but all her salvo's just passed by Laffey's head,as if she intentionally missed

soon Laffey was now,face to face with the leader of Vichya Dominion,she stared at the Battleship as the Battleship stared at her but instead of her being intimidating,she stood there with her eyes trembling as if she had seen ghost of some sort,the res of Vichya Dominion did nothing but watch as they did not contest Laffey in any sort of way and just let her stand before their leader

Laffey remembers waking up on a bed and to the sound of explosions,so Laffey immediately knew,that the fleet was already fighting,so Laffey quickly ran outside and saw,the Vichya Dominions fleet in front of us,Cleveland and the others wer damaged and Hornets flight deck had some holes in it,then the Vichya Dominion fired at Laffey's friends,so Laffey summoned her rigging and destroyed the attacks with her own attacks,Laffey startled Enterprise but Laffey did not care at the moment because Laffey was focused on the leader of Vichya Dominion

now Laffey was in front of Jean Bart,the leader of Vichya Dominion as Laffey stared at her,Laffey's history with Vicya Dominion was not great but that is why Brother sent Laffey to do this,Laffey knew Jean Bart and Jean Bart knew Laffey,and she knew what Laffey was capable of,they all knew what Laffey was capable of

Jean:Laffey

Laffey:has Jean Bart lost the capability to shoot straight-

Jean:why you little-

Laffey:or is it because Jean Bart knows,what will happen if she shoots Laffey

Jean:tch,wahat do you scum want

Laffey:Laffey wants the Vichya Dominion to come back to base with Laffey

Jean:and why should we-

Laffey:because Brother said so

Jean:that man has been dead for 2 years now,I don't believe you lies

Laffey:Brother has been back for a while now,and Laffey knows,you've heard the rumours

Jean:tch:your my third cannon was never finished

Laffey quickly entered her retrofit form as Laffey's clothes changed while Laffey felt a lot of power flow through Laffey's body

Laffey:your lucky,Laffey only has half the ammunition,Laffey is supposed to be carrying 

Jean:do you think you can tak the entire Vichya Dominion on,all by yourself

Laffey then summoned her guns  and quickly aimed them and her cannons at Jean Bart as she stared at Laffey while Laffey's eyes glowed red,as Laffey shows Jean Bart,who would win between Me and the Vichya dominion

Laffey:half is all Laffey needs to sink the Vichya Dominion,Laffey might not even need half

Jean:what the h-

Laffey:Laffey held back in the past because Brother said so,but nothing is stopping Laffey now

Jean:your insane

Laffey:and Jean Bart is stubborn,if Laffey fails,Brother will come amd finish the job and Brother is stronger than Laffey

Jean:grrrrrr

Laffey:will Vichya Dominion continue to resist Laffey or will Vichya Dominion come to base with Laffey,choose now Jean Bart

Jean:...........................everyone,guns down

???1:Ms.Jean?

???2:are you sure about this,Ma'am

Jean:everyone is to return to base and pack their things,we're leaving base for the Azur Lane Pacific Base

Everyone:yes Ma'am

all the Vichya Dominion ships left Laffey as Jean Bart was the last one to leave as she stared at Laffey before leaving,after she left,Laffey returned to Laffey's normal form and turne around a Laffey started to walk towards Laffey's friends,Laffey then helped Cleveland and her Sisters to Enterprises Carriers as everyone sighed in relief

Cleveland:I can't believe we won like that

Massachusetts:that was close for you 4

Montpelier:thanks for saving us Laffey

Laffey:your welcome,Laffey is happy to help

Alabama:did you se the look of terror on Jean Bart's face,it's like she lost it in an instant

Enterprise:yah,what was that about Laffey,she completely lost her composure,when you came out

Laffey:...............................

Flashback

Jean Bart:what*coughs blood* the hell are you*coughs blood*

Laffey:Laffey is Brother's Sister and Laffey is the one,who will end you*aims cannons at Jean's head*

Ladon:Laf--fey

Laffey turned around and saw Brother holding on to her leg,Brother was very wounded because Jean Bart betrayed him and shot him from behind,Brother laid on the ocean floor while Laffey thought he die,so Laffey went to exact revenge by killing the Vichya Dominion but Laffey was stopped by Brother as Brother held Laffey's leg

Ladon:Laffey*coughs*stop-,please

Laffey:Brother

Laffey kneeled down to help Brother as Laffey grabbed Brother by the arm and swung it around Laffey neck as Laffey stood up,carrying Brother,Brother told Laffey to help the Vuchya Dominion as well but Laffey was unsure,if Laffey should do it or not as Laffey looked back at the Vichya Dominion

they all laid on the water,completely still but not dead,their rigs were all broken and destroyed,decimted even as Laffey one sidedly beaten them,some of their bones were probably broken as blood dripped and flowed down their heads,arms and legs,in the end,Laffey helped them and brought them back to base for help

Laffey:Brother can tell you Laffey's story,Brother tells Laffey not to think about it

Cleveland:oookay,I'm not sureif I want to know what happened anymore

Yorktown:if even Laffey doesn't want to say it,then it must be pretty bad

Laffey:it was very bad

Enterprise:we can find out,what happened another time,what matters now is,that we won

Massachusetts:agreed,now we just have to wait for the Vichya Dominion

Alabama:we should  keep our guard up,in case they try anything against us

Laffey:they will not try anything as long as Laffey is here,.............hmmmm but Laffey is sleepy now

Cleveland:hehehe,of course you are

Enterprise:if your sleepy,you can go back to my room and sleep,you've done enough already,we'll take it from here

Laffey:hmmm ok

Laffey then left and went inside Enterprise's brdige and went straight to the main control room,Laffey then went inside of Enterprise's room and immediately went to her bed as Laffey lays down on the matress,Laffey quickly fells herself fall asleep as Laffey closes her eyes and sleeps
