General POV

Andy and Alex were on opposite ends of the battlefield, Andy standing on Akagi's flight deck and looking at his projector which could double as a communication device as Dave explained the rules. 

Dave: "Alright, now that you are both deployed, I can explain the rules of combat."  he said, "Now, the rules are simple; First Rule, you 2 are allowed into combat, this may mean manning an AA gun, flying a plane, or, as Andy once demonstrated, ramming a kansen with your personal ship....yes that actually happened and it was hilarious."

Andy chuckled remembering the day he rammed Allen M Summer with the Irwin during an exercise, it became a running gag that if the Irwin was out and about, it was gonna ram someone. 

Dave: "Rule 2, no live ammo. Self Explanatory." he continued, "Another self explanatory rule is Rule 3; Once the health bar hits 0, you must surrender, that goes for you Johnston."

Johnston: "FUCK YOU!!!" she yelled from the shore. 

Dave: "And last rule, no kamikazes, save that for actual battles." he said, "But other than all of that, have fun killing each other." 

Akagi: "Gladly." she grinned. 

Cleveland: "LET'S TURN AND BURN GIRLS!!" she yelled. 

Antonio Luna: "That's my line Clevebro." she said. 

Cleveland: "Don't call me that Antonio!" she shot back.

Antonio Luna: "DON'T CALL ME THAT!!" she yelled. 

Graf Spee: "No fighting." she said simply. 

Arizona: "I'll carry my weight around, you'll see." she said, confidently. 

On the other side of the battlefield Missouri felt a little....unsure with herself, she was fighting the ship that she had been named the guardian of. Baltimore noticed the Iowa's conflicted gaze and pulled up alongside. 

Baltimore: "You ok Missouri?" she asked, "You look a lil blue." 

Missouri: "Hm? Oh, it's nothing Baltimore...just nervous about going up against Arizona is all..." she said, 'Fragile thing, probably can't hold her own in battles.'

Baltimore: "Ah, I see." she said, understandingly.

Prinz Eugen: "If it helps, little Laffey looks a little nervous against the Luna." she said.

Laffey: "...." she didn't reply...in fact she was actually sleeping standing up.

Bismarck: "Cut the chatter, the match is about to begin." she ordered. 

Baltimore nodded and got back into position. On the speakers Dave began to count down. 

Dave: "5.....4..." he started.

Breaches slammed shut.

Dave: "3...2..." he continued. 

Planes got ready to fly.

Dave: "....1...go get em!" he yelled.

The vanguard girls roared forward and the carriers launched fighters as Andy hopped onto one of Akagi's AA guns. As this happened he heard his radio come to life

Graf Spee: "Kommandant, orders?" she asked. 

Andy: "Ok; Spee, Cleveland; pick off Baltimore and Eugen one at a time, Luna; deal with Laffey using your missiles, Akagi and Kaga target Bismarck and Zeppelin, if you have spares get after Missouri, Arizona back up the carriers." he ordered.

Cleveland: "Sounds good Commander!" she said, excited for a fight.

Arizona: "You can count on us Commander." she said, optimistic.

Kaga: "Hai." she agreed, "We'll blow as many of them out of the water as possible." she said. 

Andy got ready to defend Akagi, meanwhile Luna locked onto Laffey's IFF Signature and fired 3 Surface-to-Surface missiles at her.

Laffey: "Hm?" she hummed, noticing the missiles too late to do anything and immediately being 'killed'.

Dave: "Ooh...and there goes Laffey." he winced. 

Laffey: "Dang it..." she groaned. 

Prinz Eugen: "Do not worry little Laffey, we shall get her for you." she said, charging forward.

Baltimore: "Just watch and learn kid!" she added. 

The 2 Heavy Cruisers roared into range of Spee and Cleveland and as they did they opened fire, up above Zeroes and 109's collided in dogfights as Kates, Val's, Stuka's, and Fi-167's. Many bombers made it to their targets with the Japanese bomber managing to hit Zeppelin and Bismarck hard but many were slaughtered going after Missouri. Back with Andy he started firing at German bombers and having moderate success in shooting most down...but that didn't stop them from bombing the shit out of Akagi.

Akagi: "OH THOSE BASTARDS!!!" she yelled, shaking her fist angrily. 

Andy: "Easy Aka- INCOMING!!" he yelped.

16 inch and 15 inch shells roared down on the Carrier and took out half her health.

Akagi: "THAT FUCKING BITCH!!" she cursed.

A Corsair roared down next, Akagi's health treading dangerously as 2 torpedoes also hit. The Corsair launched rockets at the carrier and took her health down to 2%. But not without cost as Andy had shot down almost all of them using a twin mount. As he shot down a Stuka and got ready to reload he saw the Corsair circle around with Alex on the controls. The Corsair roared away as Akagi yelled and cursed in rage. Arizona and Kaga had also been under the barrage as it hit. 

Back with the vanguard fleet. Cleveland and Spee were struggling against Baltimore and Eugen. 

Cleveland: "GAH!!" she yelped. 

Graf Spee: "Ow..." she whimpered. 

Prinz Eugen: "Sorry little Spee, but it is an exercise." she said. 

Spee made a last ditch effort to do damage by launching torpedoes before Baltimore finished her off. The torpedoes didn't do much but allowed Luna to get in closer and started firing at Baltimore with Cleveland. After the barrage Eugen and Baltimore looked at their HP pools. Eugen was at 40% while Baltimore was at 25%. 

Baltimore: "You guys got some spunk I'll give ya that." she compliment.

Prinz Eugen: "Ja, You've got me rather low." she added.

Antonio Luna: "W-well, it's not over just yet!" she stuttered out. 

Prinz Eugen: "Hm...I think it is." she said, hearing a beeping noise. 

Cleveland: "Oh no, we're out of time!" she shouted. 

Akagi had been taken out by a final bomb while Kaga and Arizona were on the brink of death. 

Andy: "Ari?" he asked. 

Arizona: "I'm still reloading sir!" she yelled. 

Andy: "Kaga?" he asked.

Kaga: "My planes aren't getting through because of that damn Corsair!" she yelled.

Andy then heard the whistling of more artillery shells.

Andy: "Well....shit..." he cursed. 

Kaga and Arizona proceeded to be hit with the Carrier being taken out and the Battleship barely at 1%.

Dave: "COMMANDER ORR WINS!!!" he announced, "Clear the area for the next battle." 

The ships made their way into the harbor with Andy's fleet staying with their commander.

Andy: "I'm sorry girls...I guess my plan was pretty short term..." he apologized.

Cleveland: "It's fine sir," she reassured, "they had the advantage on us artillery-wise, me and Spee were also underpowered against Baltimore and Eugen over there." 

Akagi: "Grr....I still can't believe those bitches beat us." she growled. 

Kaga didn't say anything, simply glaring at Alex as he passed. 

Arizona: "Well...it wasn't exactly unexpected." she sighed. 

Before Andy's fleet could say anything, Missouri approached. 

Missouri: "Hey, Arizona, you ok?" she asked. 

Arizona: "I'm fine Missouri," she said, "I don't need a guardian right now..."

Missouri looked skeptical at this.

Missouri: "Yeah...right..." she said, skeptically.

Arizona: "I-I can handle myself Missouri!" she shouted, "I don't need help!"

Missouri: "Sure 'zona, but you did barely scrape by with a single digit." she said. 

Arizona: "I-" she started.

Missouri: "Just be careful Ari." she finished before walking away, "Leave the fighting to the big ships." 

As Missouri walked away Arizona pouted.

Arizona: "I don't need to be carried like that in a battle..." she pouted. 

Andy patted Arizona's shoulder and comforted her.

Andy: "You'll show her one of these days Ari." he said, "You'll show her what you can do." 

Arizona: "I just hope it's soon..." she said. 

Cleveland: "I for one am excited for a rematch!" she said, trying to lighten the mood.

Akagi: "I want a rematch to teach those bastards a lesson." she growled. 

Andy: "Easy Akagi, jeez." he said, "I'll ask for permission to do so next time." 

Graf Spee: "I want one too." she said, "Hopefully for fun next time." 

Andy: "What about you Luna?" he asked, "How would you feel about a rematch?" 

Antonio Luna: "W-well...um...I am eager for one...but I'd rather being more friendly with them first." she said.

Andy: "That would be wise, maybe Akagi won't try to murder them next time." he said. 

The fleets would share the observation booth with their commanders so Andy lead his fleet in. When he got there the 4 other boys patted his back stating 'You'll get him next time.' and 'You did your best.' with his fleet getting similar treatment among their siblings and and cousins. When Andy found Alex he pulled out a card, one of 3 he had been given after had won his first battle that should give him free items from Akashi, he decided to give it to Alex as a sort of congratulations like it had been for him. So Andy started trying to get Alex's attention.

Alex: "What is it?" he asked. 

Andy gave Alex the card, it was just a white card with a crate on it.

Alex: "What's this?" he asked.

Andy: "This card allows you to receive 12 Common, 5 Uncommon, and 3 Rare crates from Alashi for no extra charge." he said. 

Alex nodded and pocketed the card before turning to the fight currently happening.

Alex: "So how mad's your fleet?" he asked, before Andy could play dumb he continued, "And before you say anything I heard Akagi screaming in rage and Kaga looking at me pretty pissed." 

Andy: "Ah...well Akagi and Kaga are.......upset...Arizona feels the need to prove she can fight, Cleveland and Spee are excited for a rematch, and Luna wants to make friends." he said. 

Alex nodded in reply before continuing. 

Alex: "And you? How do you feel about this?" he asked. 

Andy: "If you excuse my cheesiness I believe this is the start of a beautiful friendship." he said, "It's also kinda nice feeling beaten by a newbie......also lemme guess that Corsair was you." 

Alex gave Andy a sly smile.

Alex: "I wanted some action," he shrugged, "shame I couldn't land on Akagi and start fist fighting you though." 

Andy looked at Alex like he had grown 2 heads before rolling his eyes and focusing on the match. 

Andy: "So, what's the plan now?" he asked. 

Alex: "Once we get back to the main base I'll work on giving my girls some upgrades." he said, "Mostly Laffey."

Andy made an O face since Luna had been able to get the first blood from Laffey. After being dismissed Andy made his way to his way over to his assigned dock where the Irwin was sitting peacefully. The other ships appear soon after as Andy got to work making them more powerful, Luna had specialized crates made to upgrade her and any modern ships that come after. 

Andy had 5 of said crates which registered as rare. Andy opened the crates to find a Rare 16 inch Mk. 6 main gun, a Rare Aichi B7A, a Rare A7M, a Rare set of American Mk 16 main guns, and SK C/28 main guns. For Luna he found a Mark 45, Tomahawk Cruise Missiles, and Phalanx CIWS. Once he had all the items he had them fitted to his ships. 

Akagi: "Arigato Shikikan-sama." she thanked as the new torpedo bombers were loaded onto her ship. 

Kaga: "Thank you shikikan." she said. 

Cleveland: "Thanks Commander!" she said.

Spee nodded in thanks while Luna hugged Andy appreciatively. Andy gave his secretary headpats and let her hug him tightly. After this Andy went back to his dorm with Luna, had some dinner (He just made some Spaghetti) before climbing into bed.

Luna jumped into bed with him and cuddled into his side.

Andy: "Night Luna." he said.

Antonio Luna: "Goodnight Commander," she said, "and thank you."

Andy: "For what?" he asked. 

Antonio Luna: "For finding a place for me in your fleet." she said, nuzzling him. 

Andy smiled warmly at Luna, hugging her figure, she was roughly his age anyway.

Andy: "You're welcome Luna." he replied. 

The duo fell asleep and ended a rather eventful Thursday.
