"Min-san! Let's eat there!"

"That girl is such a flirt, I heard it..."

Everyone was having fun on each other's company while Ayumi is currently sitting under the tree, facing the river by herself, she is silently eating her lunch while listening to her surrounding.

"The breeze do have different kinds of directions. Oh, where are you now, Aito" She muttered. Daichi and his friends were eating outside, near the campus. 

"Daichi-sama! Please accept this cake. I baked them" 

"Sorry but I don't like sweets" Daichi said with a poker face. The girl ran away.

"Don't you think you are too harsh?" kyouya, one of his friend said.

"Nah" Daichi shrugged as he is looking on Ayumi's direction. Daichi is just listening to his friends' conversations.

"Hey, Don't you think that girl has a friend or something? She is always lonely" 

"Yea, I know, plus, she is beautiful and intelligent" 

"Why don't we be friends with her? We'll going to get to know her more" 

"I tried but she didn't say anything, she just ignored me" 

"What do you think Dai-san?" 

"I'm going to try, let's have a bet" Daichi smirked.

Everyone in his group bet on him being ignored but he thinks he will win. Daichi stood up and went into Ayumi's direction.

"Bo" Daichi scared Ayumi, she gave him a confused look and said hello. Daichi laughed at her, she just ignored him and went back to eat without saying anything. 

"Why are you doing here?" Daichi sat next to her underneath the tree. Everyone was muttering again.

"I-I think it's better this way. It's peaceful" Ayumi responded. Daichi looked at her and turned his look into his surroundings.

"You don't have to be shy around me. I won't do anything now. We are friends now" Daichi smiled. Ayumi looked at him with wide eyes like she is going to cry of happiness.

"F-Friends? But you're just going to leave me just like Ai- I shouldn't say things like this" 

"What is it? Tell me" 

"No, I'm okay. Thanks for trying" Ayumi smiled sweetly, like an innocent girl's first smile. Daichi's eyes widened, he quickly shrugged as he his face went so red, he quickly hid his face behind his shirt.

"A-Are you okay? I'm sorry" Ayumi added.

"N-No, it's fine" Daichi is still covering his face. 

"I have to go" Daichi quickly stood up and ran to his friends, his friends were laughing as they saw him with red face.

"As expected, he is just going to leave" Ayumi muttered while looking up on the leaves. She felt the breeze and sun on her skin, she love to stay there for just one day. Ayumi wished even for once Aito could be in her side, looking at the leaves, playing and throwing stones on the river. Ayumi miss her best friend so much.
