Chapter Thirteen : Against Them
EVT's Team -
The girl stood looking straight at the tall spiral , a million rooms this was the new area near Al Ezzar University the university's old building reduced to rubble due to constant infightings between the many fractions of people living there . The girl entered the university premises . Girls and boys moved to and fro with relative ease it was different in the society outside the premises tho .
The pyramids stood silently watching , the demons within laughing at the state of people , then often jibed about the time when Egypt had been the epicentre of modern civilization . The time when human civilization were just beginning to emerge the proof you ask see these pyramids , yet see the state of those that went by now they lie in dust and rubble lost mummies lost tombs all ruins . What comes by must be lost to sands of time .
She had come to this part of country in order to pursue her further studies on culture and society . She loved the egyptian fables of mummies and lost treasures of great pharoas the ancient temples scattered around everything was lovely and great and had a mysterious aura at times and she loved it to the core . She had visited Mexico studied the shaman culture and had been to Utah Basin the main reason was to uncover a series of mysterious happenings . Being a student of culture studies and the paranormal she loved to solve mysteries and uncover new ways to understand our reality .
She had been anounced as the head of the Evt's team earlier that week , this team was responsible for looking into problems of the common people and solving them on a much deeper level , find the truth behind some urban legends regarding creatures or beings more like humans that seemed to come from another timeline .
The team consisted of about five hundred members , many of whom had lost their loved ones and other family members to a deadly pandemic a couple of years back.
The Earth now was a cleaner and much safer place with so less humans , but what can be said about loss , had they headed to the moment's call they could have been saved .
The total population of the entire planet wss now reduced to about five million , many had died especially the elderly even the kids were not spared totally from the gobal pandemic .
Yet humans still fought on race on their religion on their ownership of truth on their history the pride within had not died down has not a wise man said some fools still hold onto burnt rope eben as the fire burns hem down .
This subject/object conflict does not end until either or both dissolve .

Amaya Frost - Amy/Ami Amaya_frost
A human timeliner young age almost a teenager she reads a lot and loves writing . Her encounter with two demons Aly and Yazi changed her life forever . She has a secret crush on Aly .
Aly - A natural timeliner not an Evt but assists Ayn and Amaya , he is a demon and loves Ayn .
Yazi - A natural timeliner , lifelong friend of Aly .
Ayn - A powerful mage and a timeliner one of the earliest and most powerful . In some timelines she appears as Unicorn . She is an expert in society and cultures .
The Sage - A wise man old of age , it is later revealed he is actually a secret timeliner .
Eryin - A living computational device a hybrid of a timeliner and a computer .
