Chapter Fourteen : Priestly Pride

These midnight flowers
They bloom in
Full moonlight .

Your face
Is the wanting
Of this heart

The cuspic desire
This soul wilth
From dusk to dawn.

The quantum
Of your essence
Fades away

The light upon light
As it rises above
Beyond beyond

The running cavakahas
The running meerkats
These parodies

Mere moving dots
A circus of merry
Joyment

Tis hath
A wise man
Said ...

This too shall pass.

The priests in a Tibet monastery had gathered , to celebrate the austre occassion of the passing away of their supreme monk Chameyon Limung . The monk's body had been wrapped in an orange shroud , and kept up for the last prayers . The villagers nearby had come to pay their homage . As was the local custom women were not allowed into the monastery , they were considered as being ritually impure . Although many organizations had come forward to improve the social conditions of women here , not many had been successful . The women in this community were treated as secondary aspects of the male body and were treated as such . Many were sold as sacred ladies of the monastery but few even succeded in becoming a full monk . Most were bought in for cheap labour or to fulfill the baser needs of their owner . Some were kept in cages abused regularly and used as a tool to fulfil the carnal desires of many men and then thrown out as disposed off waste . The priests ofcourse hardly paid attention to these darker vestiges of their society . Most would often chat about having used or dumped a few without the master's knowledge . For it must be known that a monk cannot follow the desirous path of their lower ego .

It was in these very conditions that one fine day the supreme monk passed away and all monks had gathered thus so far . As everyone was busy paying their last respect to the monk . A little girl who had been caged for past few weeks , and had recently broken out of her cage with the help of a kind woman had run off , came running about . The younger monks woud'nt let her in . Someone had told her that today every villager would get a lot of things to eat , and perhaps some money too . This little girl understood less about money and more about food . Yet as fate would have it food was not easy to come by , as the monks would not let her in the monastery . She was tired and had been hungry for more than a week , plus she felt very weird in her tummy . It seemed something was crawling and eating her up from inside also her tummy was a bit bloated . It was at this very moment a strange voice came about from inside her head and it is as if she heard it alone , " child , do not worry let me come inside you and I shall teach them such a lesson that for years bygone none shall dare to look at a girl or touch her the way they did with you except with fear and respect "  .
