Akanksh ran to the garden of his palace, to prepare for 1st anniversary. He saw that lake which was filled with brahmakamal, had only one brahmakamal. For some reason, rest of the brahmakamal had wilted. The one which still looked fresh was deepest color of red, but it was slowly wilting away. He frowned but didn't pay much attention to it. He called a servant to remove the already wilted flowers except for the red one.

He next went to a banyan tree. He himself put swing on one of the highest branches of the banyan tree. He then started decorating with flowers. He suddenly realized that ropes of the swing isn't decorated with flowers. He just hits his head, and climbs the tree again. He gets the swing, and just as he is about to come down, he loses his footing and falls down.

Akanksh- AAH!

He sees that silver armlet which Ayanika had given was broken in two pieces, and his right hand bleeding due to that. His heart slowly starts sinking. To get his mind off, he thinks of looking in lake. Just as he is staring at the reflection of his face, he starts to see Ayanika's face instead. But he feels weird looking at it. Then he realizes, the reason. The face had tears but tears were red in color. They looked more like blood. They were tears of blood. Looking at the image, he fell back in shock. He got up and started running towards the room where everyone had gathered.

When he reached there, he saw that Devasena was trying to calm Mahendra down but she was not able do it. Seeing that his heart started sinking more, then he noticed something. Mahendra had red thread tied around his right hand. At this point, his heart started breaking more. He wanted to let his tears fall freely but he knew he could not break down like that. He felt an hand on his shoulder. He turned to see Kumar and Kattapa standing behind. They quietly take him to the adjacent room and close the door. Over there, they quietly handover the Krishna idol, the protection amulet and a letter. Looking at the Krishna idol, and protection amulet, his worst fears were confirmed. He calmly opened the letter.

Dear Anant,

If you get this letter, than it is confirmation letter that I won't be here to celebrate our 1st anniversary together. I know you would be preparing for it but I won't be there to celebrate. I am just writing this letter to tell you that I love you from deepest core of my heart.

Reading this, Akanksh couldn't take it anymore. He quickly got up, was about to open the door, when Kumar and Kattapa catch hold of him.

Kattapa- Calm down, Akanksh, you can't do anything now.

Akanksh- (almost shouting) I HAVE TO GO AND SAVE HER, PLEASE LET ME GO!

Kattapa- IF YOU GO THEN, WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE PROMISE YOU GAVE HER!

Akanksh- (shocked) How did did you come know about the promise?

Kattapa- (Sad) Ayanika had told me, and instructed me to tell you when you behave like this.

Akanksh slumps to the ground, feeling defeated. Just than, they heard knocking on the door. Kattapa and Kumar were going to open the door, when Akanksh gestured them to stop. He pulled himself together and opened the door. He saw Amar standing infront of the door.

Amar- Are you feeling ok, Sakha?

Akanksh- Yeah I am fine

Amar- I heard shouting from your room, so I came to check. By the way, will you help calming down Mahendra down. He is not stopping crying.

Akanksh nods and went in the room where Devasena and Mahendra were. He quietly took Mahendra from Devasena's hand. He was rocking the baby.

Akanksh- Calm down Sumedh... So jaao Sumedh!

Mahendra calms down and goes to sleep.

Devasena- How did he calm down in your hands? Anyways, How did you know that Ayanika called him this name?

Akanksh- (sad smile) She told me that's why.

Both of them smile eachother.
