Devasena was brought to the court in chains. Bhalla was feeling satisfied looking at Devasena in chains where as Rajmata was having mixed emotions. The court was looking at the entire scene in tension.

Advisor- Bahubali ki Dharampatni par yeh aarop hai, that she cut off the fingers of Temple guard Sethupati. Rajmata Sivagammi Devi ki agya se Shree Shree Maharaj Bhalladeva ke samaksh yeh sunvayi parambh ho rahi hai.

Bhalla- Avashya! (Looking at Devasena) Do you have anything to say about the crime you committed?

Devasena- (with tinge of anger) Without even listening, I have already been put in chains and it is also decided that I am the culprit, yeh kaha ka nayay hai?

Bhalladeva- Until you are proven innocent, you are a culprit. This is the law of Mahishmati.

Devasena- The things which even tribals consider disgusting, you call that law of Mahishmati. If so, put this kind law on fire, flow the law book in Ganga, and hang your administration! Jiss Rajya ki matibrasht hai uska Mahishmati jaisa bada naam! Chhiii!

Sivagammi- (almost anger) Devasena! If you say one more word about this illustrious kingdom, then...

Devasena- Making big statues and high thrones, an illustrious kingdom is not created Rajmata! For that a big heart is required. Looks like nobody over here has a big heart. Dhitkar hai!

Sethupathi- You saw, Maharaj! In front of you only, she talking insultingly, then think what kind of stuff she told about you in front of me. Just think about it.

Just then Kumar verma comes running over there. But he is helpless. Bhalladeva is smirking looking at the entire situation. Just then the door opens and Ayanika enters with few witnesses from the temple. The smirk vanishes from the face of Bhalla. They go and stand next to Devasena.

Ayanika- Pranaam Maharaj, please forgive me for arriving late but I was gathering evidence to present in front of court.

Bhalla nods his head. Ayanika bows and then faces Sethupati.

Ayanika- Sethupati, please tell the incident over again. (folds her hands infront of her chest and starts glaring at Sethupati)

Sethupati- I was taking care of the gate duty of the temple. After sometime, it was time for Maharaj to come through the main gate so I asked everyone to separate into males and females and go through the side doors . Around the same time, Devasena came and I asked her to go through the female lane. Instead of doing that she started saying she is the wife of Mahasenapati Bahubali and started insulting Maharaj. So, just as I was about to chain her, she cut my fingers off.

He turns his head to look towards Ayanika and sees her glaring at him. He gulps and becomes more nervous.

Ayanika- Maharaj, I can clearly tell he is lying. Because I was there as Devasena had asked me to come along with her as her sister-in-law. Over there what I saw... it's better the witnesses say as they will be able to tell it more clearly.

One by one all the witnesses come and tell the entire scenario. Sethupati starts sweating due to tension and nervousness.

Sethupati- (looking at Bhalla) Maharaj, they are lying. Believe me, they are freaking lying.

Ayanika- (Glaring at him) You are saying all of them are lying. That also means that you are calling me as a liar. Sethupati, if it was only Devasena, then I would have believed you. (Pointing at the witnesses) But all of these people have seen what have you done. They can't lie.

Sethupati- But if you gave them some money to lie against me, that's why they are saying that.

Ayanika- (Chuckling) Sethupati, I will never fall to your level to prove my point. I will do what is right and I won't move from the path of Dharm. You are just saying anything to save your neck, which should have been separated by now. But it is your great fortune that I am standing infront of you. Otherwise if Mahasenapati comes over here, I won't be able to guarantee that you will be standing alive.

Bhalla- Ayanika, you can't threaten victim like that.

Ayanika- I am not threatening victim, Maharaj, but I am warning him. If he does not say accept that he is the culprit then I or anyone else in the room won't be able to save him. And Maharaj, the victim in this entire case is Devasena. Why is she been put in chains? She should be set free at this moment as she is pregnant and plus the chains are harming her and her child. So, I request you to remove the chains.

Bhalla- It is not proven that Devasena is not the culprit and neither it is proven that Sethupati is not the victim. So, Devasena will still remain in chains.

Ayanika- (shocked) But Maharaj, I got the witnesses as the evidence, how is that not enough to prove that Devasena is the victim. Plus, I am also a witness to the entire situation. How is it not enough?

Sivagammi- How can we be sure that you have not bribed the witnesses? How can I be sure that you are not lying to protect Devasena as she is favorite sister-in-law and your friend.

Ayanika feels her heart shattering into pieces after listening to the words of her own mother, Sivagammi. She was breaking internally but she was not showing it outside. Devasena understood this.

Devasena- Who are you even asking for justice, Sakhi? They are just bodies with no soul. Each and every person who is present here has lost their hearts and humanity the moment I was brought over here in chains. So who are you even asking for justice?

Ayanika looks at Devasena and nods. She quietly starts pacing in the space between Devasena and Sethupati., keeping her head down. The moment she was nearing Sethupati, he was going 2 steps back in fear. But when she neared Devasena, she was standing there confidently and trying to look into the eyes of her Sakhi. The smirk which vanished from the face of Bhalla, returned.
