Bahu is squirming in pain and getting treated by Vaidya lying down on bed, when Devsena enters to check on him. Seeing Devsena, a smile slowly creeps up on his face but his pain manages to hide it. On the other hand, Kattapa was just calling out to Bholenath for the well-being of Bahu.

Kattapa- Bam-Bhole, what should I do now Bhole? Jis Devi ne vachan diya madad ka, usine haath tode, Bam-Bhole!

Vaidya- (to Amar) Please try to sit

Kattpa suddenly stands up.

Kattapa- Abey Buddhu, didn't you listen to what Vaidji said! (Pulls him up)

Bahu starts squirming in pain and is almost about to fall back when Devsena catches him from back. Her touch seemed to ease some pain of Bahu. Katappa gives the look of job done. She makes Bahu sit nicely using the wall as back support.

Vaidya- (to Kattapa) Make him drink this medicine at night, the more he sleeps it will be good for him.

And the he leaves.

Amar- Mama, Please sing a lori for me

Kattapa- You want me to sing lori for you now?

He starts asking the dasis but they reply in negative. When he asks Devasena, she just glares at him.

Katappa- What am I even asking, My mind is not working at all. I should only sing

He takes a pot and starts sing a lori.

Kattapa- Lori jo gae who Maiyya kahan, jo pyar jatae who baba kahan, Bhola hai who anjaan jag se, unhe jo lad jataere, BHOLE-BHOLE! (repeats it)

Devsena walks out of the room, thinking about Amar's condition which happened due to her. She reaches the Krishna temple of the palace when one of the maid takes her for getting dressed for Krishna pooja. After sometime she comes dressed, and starts doing pooja by singing Kanha soja zara. Which is a lullaby for Lord Krishna but listening to the song Bahu felt as if he is getting a love letter from her. He sleeps on a tree branch listening to the song.

In Mahishmati

Ayanika is laying down on the bed thinking about todays morning event. Renuka enters the room and sees her deeply thinking about something.

Renuka- What are you thinking, Ayu?

Ayanika- I am thinking on how to stop the injustice from happening.

Renuka- What kind of injustice?

Ayanika- The injustice of promising someone.

Renuka- I don't quite get you.

Ayanika explains the entire throne room drama to Renuka.

Renuka- This is injustice. It is not right on Kuntal princess. We need to stop it somehow.

Ayanika- (sits up on the bed) but how?

She is almost near to tears as she is not able to think of anything, when she remembered an old memory. She quickly got out of bed and ran towards a room. Renuka just followed, knowing pretty well where she was going. Ayanika enters the room and sees a large portrait of her mother, Akhila and her father, Mahadev alias Vikramdev. She gets a bit emotional. She sees a table on which few things are kept. She goes near them and picks up a book. She finally feels she got answer to her doubts looking at the book. She takes the book in her room. Keeping book on her head table she goes to sleep peacefully.

In morning,

A proposal of Marriage from Mahishmati had come for Devsena. They had sent a lot of gifts, along with which they had sent a sword as the representative of Bhalladeva. But the sword was covered by a cloth.

Messenger- Kuntal Desh ke Maharaj Jaysena ko Ashirwad ke saath, Mahishmati ki Rajmata Sivagammi Devi likhti hai,

Roop mein Kamdev, gun mein devon ke dev, Parakram mein Veeron ke veer, mere putra ke liye, aapki behen Devsena ko mere putra ke liye jeevansangini sunishchit kiya hai, Aapki behen ko humari bahu bananakar humare Rajya bhej dijiye.

Rajmata Sivagammi Devi

Listening to this message, Kattapa who was standing with the girls thought Rajmata Sivagammi Devi had chosen Devasena for Amar.

Messenger- humse sambandh jodne ke liye bade bade samrajya ke samrat prathana Sandesh bhejte rehte hai, Maharaj. But our queen Sivagammi's benevolent eys has fallen on your small Kingdom. The Princess is really lucky. (says in a arrogant tone). If you send your sister with us then these gifts of gold will be yours. (arrogant chuckle)

Listening to this, Kattapa does a facepalm. He is just thinking who sent this stupid messenger here.

Messenger- You have not seen these kinds of precious gifts in your entire life.

Devasena raises her hand to quiet him. Everyone is just looking at her in anticipation. Kattapa already knew what was going to be the answer.

Mahishmati

Ayanika was reading the copy of the proposal sent to Kuntal Kingdom. She looked up at Renuka with questioning eyes. Renuka just shrugged in response.

Ayanika- Who went as the messenger to Kuntal Kingdom?

Renuka- Sanuka Rai, a minister from Bhalladeva's side.

Ayanika- And who wrote this proposal?

Renuka- Those are Rajmata's word only.

Ayanika- (sighs and looks towards the ceiling) Hey Mahakal, what happened to my sweet humble mother? Why did she write this letter in this tone? What was the need to send Sanuka Rai to Kuntal? Now, the reply we will get back is surely going to anger Ma.

Renuka- (confused) Why are you saying that?

Ayanika- I am saying this because Sanuka Rai is the worst messenger. That guy has arrogance filled in him up to his head. And then this arrogant tone of the letter will surely irk Devasena, to this extent that she will refuse the proposal in the tone of the letter she was sent.

Renuka- How do you know that?

Ayanika- I know this because I have gathered a lot of information on Devasena's personality. She is a warrior princess. And asking her hand like this in marriage will surely make her mad as it hurts her self-respect. (sighs)

Renuka- Now, what will happen?

Ayanika- Whatever Mahadev wants that will happen.

Suddenly, the doors of her rooms open and Bhalla along with Bijjaladeva enter the room. They had a smile plastered to their face. Looking at the face of Ayanika, their smile became wide.

Bijjaladeva- Ayu, you have always saved Amar from almost all the situation and the plans created against him? Now how will save him from this attack. (smirks)

Ayanika- (with a smile)Don't worry Tatshree, I have kind of found the way to him out of this situation to. You don't need to worry. (smiles)

Bijjaladeva smile falters a bit.

Bhalla- But I will still become the king, you can't possibly stop that. Can you?

Ayanika- Even though, you will become the king, but Amar Bhaiya will rule the hearts of the people of this kingdom. Your power as the King will just stay in your surrounding but his power will reach beyond boundaries. You can't stop that, can you?

Bhalla- If I ever let that happen, then only it will be possible.

Ayanika- Bhalla bhaiya, Amar bhaiya's journey as the king started from the moment we won the war against Kalkeyas. Before that people used to look at you both equally, but after the war it is clear who is ready to be the King. So, it is my duty now that I make sure my brother becomes the King as he is more capable than you.

Bhalla starts seething rage. Looking at Bhalla's reaction, Bijjaladeva becomes a bit scared.

Bijjaladeva- You can come to our side, Ayu. We will fill you with riches and fulfill all your wishes.

Ayanika- (joins hand) Thank you Tatshree, but I politely decline this offer. Give this offer to someone else who is capable like me. I had already decided who my loyalty will be with and now you cannot change it.

Bhalladeva leaves the room in anger with Bijjaladeva in tow. Ayanika sits on the bed heavily and starts reading the book which she brought from her parents chamber. Renuka looks at her and smiles. She quietly puts a letter on the head side table of Ayanika and leaves.
