Adelaide Thomas' pov

I wander around my dream happily. It was a vast meadow filled with wild grasses and beautiful flowers. I walk until I see a sailboat on the ground.
I begin running and I quickly recognize it as the destiny's bounty. I hear voices drift on the wind and see my own shade of chocolate brown hair fluttering in the wind. Dream-me leans over the side with a blonde boy.

Lloyd. I feel my heart stop and sear with pain.
(He left you, remember?) I question myself. ( just let him go already!)

I approach the bounty until I can make our what the pair were saying.

"Del, you know I love you, right?" The boy asks. I feel a searing hot sensation in my chest and look down to see if I was stabbed. I wasn't physically injured.

"Oh my - you said- give me a sec?" I nearly laugh at how flustered dream-me is. It's honestly kinda cute.

"If you dont feel the same way-" Dream-Lloyd began but alternate me shushed him.

"Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon, I thought you were smart? We've been dating since... uh... Morro... I think. To think I don't love you is stupid."

His emerald eyes brightened "you do?"
The girl giggled and kissed him.
"Of course I do!" She put her hand in his hair and pulled him close again. I look away.

"What? Does it hurt that bad?" A voice asked from behind me.

"Lloyd, yes it does." I sigh. This Lloyd was slightly older, just like he was last I saw him. His eyes still glinted sadly when he looked at me.

"Why?" He says simply. My heart wrenches and I turn away.

"Because," I begin and intend to answer truthfully " I never knew what I did wrong."

He turns his head to the side with confusion. I return my attention to the two kids having fun chatting and flirting until Past-Lloyd gets hit in the face with a package.

"Oww!" He exclaims.
Dream-me leans down to pick it up and I read the packaging.

"Condom- KAI YOURE A DEAD MAN!" She shouts and throws the condom to Past-Lloyd, actively hitting him in the face for the second time in a row.

"Oww!" He repeats and chases after Adelaide.

"Condom bombdem!" Kai snickers proudly.

"Kai, you need to work on your names." Lloyd laughs. He grabs Dream-me's waist and holds me back from slapping that smirk off his face.

"What," Kai says innocently "you'll need them!"

"Listen to me, Kai! WE. WERE. HAVING. A. MOMENT!" Dream Adelaide huffs. "THAT DOESN'T EVEN RHYME!!"

I can't hold back the laughter escaping me as I watch this scene unfold. The chaos is overwhelmingly funny.

"Hello Sensei!" Kai calls, almost crying from laughing.

"Ah, Kai, I was just looking for you." Wu says with a smile.

"Great! I'll-" Kai yelps as Wu bonks his head with his staff. "Heyyyy!" He whines.

"Funny, but not as they were having a moment. You ruined it for us."

"Us?!" Dream Adelaide exclaims.

"It was so CUUUTE!" Nya squeals, emerging from her hiding spot.
I turn to the older Lloyd, who was staring at me sadly, almost regretfully.

"Good old days, am I right?" I sigh wistfully.

"I wished they never happened." He says sombrely.

"Wait- what?"

"It wasn't a good idea, I mean, we broke up anyways." He explains with a shrug.

"Lloyd it was the best though." I argue. " I loved every second of time with you. It doesn't matter how it ended."

He shook his head. I begin to become irritated. "Then PLEASE O great one, tell me why you don't like one second of what happened!" I glance back at the destiny's bounty and it was gone.

"Er...is that supposed to happen?" I look back at Lloyd but he was younger. His hair was black and he had markings around his eyes.

"Morro," I shiver.

"Miss me?" He smiled and laughed at my terrified expression.

"Get lost, this is my dream and I order you to get out!" I yell. I splash water from...I don't know where and he disappears. A loud slithering sound is heard from behind me and I soon on the spot. A HUGE black snake I immediately recognize as the great devourer slithers right at me. I run away but it clamps it's jaws around me. I got spat out and begin falling. Somehow, I got spat into the sky.

"Come on, really?" I scream to nobody.

"Adelaide, grab my hand!" Lloyd appears beside me and reaches out to me. Suddenly, a gust of wind tears us apart. We brush fingers and the ground gets closer.

"You're the quiet one," I hear Lloyd say. His voice is deeper and softer than usual. I hear the usual sadness that poisons his tone.

I jolt awake just as I was going to hit the ground.
"Quiet one?" I mutter to myself with not the slightest idea who or what that is. I brush my teeth and brush my hair and get dressed while pondering about it.

Soon, I'm out the door walking to the library close by my apartment.

"Welcome back Adelaide!" The old woman says cheerfully. " how can I help the peach ninja today?"

"Shh, Denise I don't do that anymore." I say sombrely. "Just a few small missions, like don't let someone steal a book." While looking at Denise I kick a bag out of someone's hand. A book with a blue cover came spiralling out and the book thief reluctantly got up.

"Sorry dear, you have to pay for those!" Denise says cheerily.

"Anyways, do you have any books about quiet ones? Whatever those are"

"Not quiet ones, never heard of it." She said before adding in a whisper "is it the dreams again?"

I nod and begin telling her about my dream.

"I have no words. Maybe it was a trauma related problem, dear." She smiles sympathetically at me and I smile sadly.

"You have questions?" I sigh at Denise's expression.

"Only a few!" Denise promised. "What is 'Condom bombdem?'"

"When Kai would throw a condom at any couple he'd see on the ship. It was annoying as fu-"

"No cussing!" Denise says firmly.

"All right." I agree reluctantly

"Also, you and Lloyd were a thing?"

"Do you watch the news?" I laugh. My stomach growls and I smile at Denise before leaving for Chen's noodle house.
The bell rings over top of me as I open the door. A red beaded female runs up to me and envelopes me in a bone crushing hug.

"Oh my goodness, Adelaide! I missed you! WHY DIDN'T YOU VISIT ME?" She changes her tone and I gulp. "No worries, I'm kidding. So how's everybody?"

I look away from her ecstatic expression, that soon falls to a kind one "that bad?"
I nod. " Kai didn't tell you?"
Skylor groans "nooo, he left on a stupid mission or something. But what happened?"

I begin to tell her about the past while. She nods and laughs and even seems genuinely sad.

"And I don't know why he left. He just- poof! It was just us when the ninja split up, and then he left. No note no Lloyd, not a thing of his. Like he never existed." I sigh, finishing the story.

"Damn." Skylor said sadly "that's rough, Adelaide."
I grimace. "Well, I just-" I get cut off by something I would never have thought would be possible

"Skylor, I'm sorry, I have to take this."

1261 sorry for the short chapter I'm not good at long chapters so I'll probably just have to do rapid fire short ones. I apologize for mobile people because of the ads or I could do long ones (for me would be 5k at most) with ** those Instead of 2 chapters?
