Chapter 27

Astrid's POV

"Astrid, I have a question." He said looking at me seriously.

"What is it?" I answered as he scratched the back of his head.

"Well, was our ceremony moved because of my accident?"

"I asked Val, and she said it was up to us if we want to move it. I mean we do still have 4 days until the original date." I said cleaning up the dishes from dinner. He grabbed them out of my hand and took them to the kitchen.

"Well do you wanna stick with that or do you wanna move it?" He asked intently.

"I think we're good. I mean Val was taking care of decorations and food while you were asleep, so we are still on schedule. All we have to do is invitations." I grabbed paper and ink.

"Let's do it!"

We wrote down invites for basically the entire village, and kept track of names on a list so people could check of as they enter.

"Well, that's it for invitations. Let's get these out to everybody." I said and grabbed half the pile while he grabbed the other half. We both went out of the house and in different directions. First up, Ruff and Tuff.

*******time jump********

After about and hour me and Hiccup returned to the house. I already selected maid of honor and bridesmaids, and Hiccup chose his groomsmen and best man. With Ruffnut as my maid of honor, and Stormfly as my bridesmaid, I felt satisfied. I wonder who Hiccup chose.

All that was needed now was my dress.

Hiccup's POV

Alright, invites, sent. Groomsmen, check. I went down the list, first Snotlout, since he begged and wouldn't shut up, then Fishlegs, then Tuffnut. Best man, check.

"Yes Toothless, since you're best man, or should I say best dragon, you're gonna have to wear a fancy saddle." I pat his head. He made a purring sound and nudged me with his head.

This is going to be the happiest day of my life.

I got second place at my competition!

Now all that's left is the one on Sunday and the 2-day competition in San Francisco.
