Astrid's POV

I was pacing around the academy with the gang because I STILL wasn't allowed to be alone. We were waiting for the search parties to return. Hopefully with a black dragon in the group.

"Astrid you know stressing out like this really isn't healthy for that right?" Ruffnut whispered to me and pointed at my stomach.

"I know I'm just concerned for the other half that made that." I said sarcastically, pointing down at my stomach. I then sat down and leaned against the wall.

"He's gonna be okay Astrid." Snotlout said and sat next to me. Wait, Snotlouts being considerate?

"I know. There's just that part of me that just is so worried about him." I looked and my legs.

"That's what happens when you love someone. You feel worried for them. Happy for them. Sad for them. Excited for them. You basically feel each other's emotions." Fishlegs said and slammed on the ground.

"What do you know about love Fishlegs? You're girlfriend is a dragon." Snotlout teased.

"At least my 'girlfriend' hangs out with me." Fishlegs said and out quotes around girlfriend. Wow. Sasslegs.

"That's it Fishlegs you're going down!" Snotlout shouted and they tackled each other to the ground.

"YEAH WE'RE ALL FIGHTING!" Tuffnut shouted and him and his sister began to fight.

I watched as everyone was fighting and watched their dragons struggle to pull everyone apart. I didn't know what to do. Then it hit me. I forgot to feed Stormfly. Oh gods Astrid you're loosing your mind. I snuck out of the arena and went towards Stormfly's stable. She was asleep when I left this morning so i didn't want to wake her up.

"Morning Stormfly. Hungry girl?" She squaked and I gave her chicken.

I sat against the stable doors and looked at the sky, just watching, waiting for any sign of that search party or Hiccup.

Hiccup's POV

It's really hard searching for someone you know nothing about. We don't know any features, name, voice, nothing that could separate him from others. We were dressed in guard clothes so we wouldn't stick out and could possibly find out more about our kidnapper.

"Morning." A guard said as we walked past.

"Morning. Anything from the boss today?" I asked.

"Uh yeah he wants guards on high alert the prisoners broke out last night." He responded.

"Alright thanks." I said and walked away. "Hey wait, so are the rumors true?" I asked the guard. I needed details.

"Rumors? What rumors?"

"That no one has ever seen the bosses face. Are those true?" I questioned.

"Almost. There is one guy that has seen the boss. He delivers all the orders to the guards. Find that guy and you find the boss." He whispered. I nodded my head.

"Any idea who this guy is?"

"Oh yeah he's friends with everybody he should be at the end of that tunnel right now." He said and pointed down a tunnel to the left.

"Perfect thanks." I said and pulled Allysa down the hallway.

"Good job on not talking. I don't think they would react pleasantly if the knew you were the escaped prisoner." I said.

"Is that because I'm a girl?" She said.

"Well yeah you're the only girl in this entire building." I said and cracked a slight smile. She sighed. "You alright?"

"Me? Oh yeah I'm just thinking." She said and put her head down.

We got to a room at the end of the tunnel with two doors. I pushed one slightly open and looked in. I saw two people having a conversation. One was in a guard uniform, and the other was in normal Viking clothes. That must be boss.

"Sir we have all the guards searching this building but nothing has been found!" The guard said.

"Then expand the search around the entire island! I want that boy to train my dragons!" The boss shouted. I knew that was why I was here.

"What about the girl sir?"

"I want her back here also. She's got something with those dragons but refuses to show it. I need to know what it is." The boss basically shouted again. He's sounds a lot like Alvin, but it's not him. Maybe a brother or cousin?

"Right away sir I'll expand the search!" Said the guard and came running toward the door. I shut it and Allysa and I his behind a corner.

"I think we should go in. Get some details on who this guy is." I said.

"Are you mad?! Once he knows we aren't his special henchman AND that we're his escaped prisoners we'll be dragon food." She stated and crossed her arms.

"Never know until you try." I said and opened the door. "Sir we found something that could lead to the prisoners."

"We'll take me to it then! The sooner we got them the sooner we can take back my island!" He shouted and I led him down the tunnel followed by Allysa. "What 'bout you? Why won't you speak?" He said to Allysa.

"She is mute sir. Still petrified by a dragon attack when she was little. Killed her entire family." I quickly lied.

"Now see this is also why I need trained dragons. This girl lost her entire family to wild dragons. If they're trained, they won't do that." The boss said. He was actually speaking calmly and normally. Almost like I was talking to a villager.

"Yeah hear about the Island of Berk? Trained dragons. I've never seen it before but one of my friends has." I said and tried my best not to spoil too much.

"Because of the boy. So where's that clue?" He asked.

"Here." I said and pointed to the empty cages where the filed down stone was left.

"Huh. Must've used it to pick the locks. Good clue but we need more. Follow me." He said. I did as I was told.

"Where are we going sir?" I asked.

"Call me Henry." He said.

"Alright. So Henry, where are we going?" I asked.

"Down to an office I built for some guards that quit the week after it was done. I've been using it to store papers that won't for in my office." He said. My eyes widened. That office we were in earlier! No wonder the everything was really dusty.

"Alright. Could anything lead us to the prisoners?" I asked with a chill.

"I don't know. How about you two go on a patrol around the island and I'll look through the papers. The boy has a fake leg and the girl has long dark red hair. And also that night fury." He said. I nodded my head and pulled Allysa with me. Then, I noticed a piece of her hair sticking out of her helmet. "Wait a minute, you two? GET THEM!" He shouted.

"Run!" I shouted and we ran as fast as we could to the exit. There was the entire fleet of guards after us. Firing arrows and charging at us with swords. I got a few minor cuts from swords but nothing serious.

"Hiccup we're surrounded." Allysa said. I whistled.

Toothless came flying over us and picked us up. The guards kept charging at us and shooting at Toothless. Ewe were dangling from his feet. Then, the ground was coming closer. I turned around and saw a hole in Toothless's tail.

"Hold on!" I shouted and we collapsed into the ground. Toothless guarded me with his wings, while Allysa flew about 8 feet away. I got up and ran over to her. "You okay?!" I asked.

"Yeah I'm fine. Just a few gashes nothing major." She said and brushed herself off. We saw no sign of guards.

"Ugh this is bad." I mumbled.

"Do you have cloth?" She asked from behind me.

"Yeah in the saddle bag on the right side of the saddle. Why do you ask?" I said while examining Toothless's tail. There was no damage to the actual mechanics, only the cloth.

"Because I can fix this." She said and pulled a needle and thread from her pocket. "It won't take me long."

She sat down and placed the tail in her lap. She started sewing the cloth over the hole on both the bottom and top. After about 10 minutes, she finished.

"There we go! Should work now." She stated and examined her work. She then handed the tail to me. I put it back on Toothless and turned it on automatic. To my surprise, he flew perfectly.

"It'll do until we get back to Berk. But we can't fly off the island. We need to take a ship until we're far from this island, then we can fly." I said and looked at our surroundings. "Any idea where the docks are?"

"I like that plan and I have no idea where the docks would be." She said and turned around to look. It was dark outside so we probably have to set up a place to sleep for the night.

"We need to set up a little camp for the night. There's no way we'll be able to find the docks." I said and gathered some sticks and lit a small fire for warmth. "What are you doing?" I looked up and saw Allysa sitting in a tall tree.

"You said set up camp. So I'm in my camping spot. You've got down there and I've got up here." She said and layed down on the branch. I shrugged and layed on the ground and before I knew it, I was asleep.

-the next morning-

Allysa's POV

I woke up on my branch and looked at the sky. The sun was still rising, saying it was early. I jumped down from the tree and relit the fire. Then I heard growling. I looked over and noticed I woke up Toothless.

"Sorry boy. Go back to sleep." I said and went to a river. I guess he couldn't fall back asleep since he came to the river and started fishing.

I was knee deep in the water, trying to catch fish. It was hard though since when I was captured, I was disarmed of any weapons, including the knife I kept in my boot. I sighed and sat down on the sand, holding the one small fish I did manage to catch. Toothless came next to me and dropped his pile of fish.

"Looks like you two bonded." Hiccup said and sat down on my other side.

"Yeah I accidentally woke him up when I jumped out of the tree. Then he just hung out with me." I said and rubbed his head. "I think I found to way to the docks."

"Where?" He asked.

"We follow the river down. I figure since this water has salt water fish in it, it's gotta connect to the ocean." I said and pointed down the stream.

"You're right. C'mon, let's eat then we can head down there." He said and stood up, then walked back over to the camp area. I followed him while carrying the fish that Toothless and I caught. Well, his pile of fish and my measly little fish that looked about the size of a mouse.

"Did you catch those?" Hiccup asked. I gave him a blank stare then motioned my head towards the dragon. I then placed a fish on a stick for me and Hiccup did the same.

We roasted and ate our fish in silence. I knew we were both thinking about the outcome of our situation. I didn't know if we were going to make it off this island. Allysa stop thinking about the negative.

"You ready?" I asked and stood up.

"Yeah. C'mon Toothless." Hiccup said and walked beside me. We followed the stream all the way to a beach. We looked around the beach but didn't see any docks.

"They've gotta be connected to this beach somehow." I said and went towards a small cliff.

"You mean like that?" Hiccup said and pointed at the docks which were about a mile away.

"Yep. Let's go I can see a boat that we can take." I said and ran off towards the docks.

I just wanted off this island.

Alright new update!

Sorry it a a little late in the afternoon, I woke up at 12...

I guess that's what happens when you stay up until midnight playing minecraft and watching YouTube videos.

I tried not to rush anything, but there might be a few typos.
